The Reactualization of The Pancasila Values in The Light of Perennial Philosophy
The implementation of Pancasila remains a home work for all children of Indonesia. Althought has become the basis of state, Pancasila has encountered various obstacles both from the outside and the inside. This fact makes all components of the nation try to think in providing the concepts, strategies and concrete steps to place Pancasila as the living values that lead to a movement and can even bring this nation into desirable future. These efforts include the studies on the values of Pancasila from various perspectives, including that of perennial philosophy’s frame. Based on this perspective, Pancasila for the Indonesian people is actually the scientia sacra (sacred science) and kalimatun sawa (common sentences), a sacred knowledge, basic principle, and a common commitment that even existed long before the independence of Indonesia. Thus, the re-actualization of Pancasila means re-practicing its values as it has been implanted deep in the heart of this nation with a new perspective, namely that Pancasila is not merely an ideology of the state and nation, but more than that, it is actually the ontological inevitability at the heart of every human being in the Indonesian Archipelago

VALIDITY OF PRE-ISLAMIC ARABIC LITERATURE AS A SOURCE OF AUTHENTICATION OF HADIS
The focus of this paper is the authenticity of the hadith, because in addition to the problem of the method used, it is also a matter of sources that are problematic. One source that is often used is literature, especially pre-Islamic Arabic literature (jahiliyah). The relevance of literature in authenticating hadith gives rise to a question, the extent to which the validity of pre-Islamic Arabic Literature can be used as evidence and what are the requirements that must be met when the study of the authenticity of hadith uses pre-Islamic Literature as one of the proofs. Using a Using a descriptive analytic method with a historical approach, this paper concludes that pre-Islamic Arabic literature when used as a source of authenticity of the hadith then the task of research is to reduce the difference in question. The reduction is intended so that the legality of literature as a source of hadith authentication can be accepted. This reduction includes: (1) authorship. Just as the news attributed to the Prophet must be proven to have its source in the Prophet, pre-Islamic Arabic Literature must also be proven to come from pre-Islamic Arabic writers, (2) narration. Pre-Islamic Arabic literature must also be tested extrinsically as an extrinsic factor test on the Hadith of the Prophet, (3) context. Literature was born not in an empty space so that the content of pre-Islamic Arabic literature must also reflect the life of the Arab Nation in pre-Islamic times. Therefore, when the reduction has not yet been carried out, in the context of the accuracy of the study of the authenticity of the hadith it cannot be accepted
ISLAM SEBAGAI IDENTITAS SOSIAL DALAM KEMAJEMUKAN DI INDONESIA PERSPEKTIF AHMAD SYAFII MA’ARIF
This study aims to reveal the concepts of multi-identity in Ahmad Syafii Ma\u27arif\u27s thoughts which are the foundation of the concept of tolerance and relations between religion and the state. This becomes the more point that will be elaborated in this research to give a differentiation of Syafii Maarif\u27s thoughts with the thoughts of other figures who also make the Qur\u27an as a foundation, but it does not demand that the state visually carry the concept of an Islamic state. This research uses a literature study and data analysis methods using the hermeneutic approach. This study concludes that Ahmad Syafii Ma\u27arif consistently applies the moral foundations of Islam in the state by not making Islam as a state visual identity but as a social identity. So that Islamic identity is not needed to be raised. With this concept, religion becomes a source of identity that is united in state identity, namely Pancasila. With this concept, the opposition that often occurs in determining the country\u27s identity can be minimized by emphasizing the multi-identity possessed by the people in Indonesia. This concept can also bridge the conflicts that often arise between Islamists and Nationalists regarding this matter

Mysticism comes from the Greek word mystikos, which means secret, hidden, dark or veiled in darkness. Also means silence or shut up, which is the basic word of mysterion in ancient Greek. Life must be in harmony because all God’s creatures are the same creation from God Almighty. The ultimate goal is to get the true nature

This study aims to discover the motives and content of the meaning of symbolic narratives used by scholars in Indonesia to spread and strengthen the teachings of Islam in Indonesia. The use of symbolic narratives has been widely used by early Islamic preachers in Indonesia. The narratives were presented to provide easier understanding to the people of Indonesia by their perceptions of the world. One of the scholars who preserve this missionary pattern is KH Abdul Ghofur. To obtain the meaning of the religious symbols used by the Kiai Ghofur, This study uses the semiotic method of Roland Barthes. The use of symbols in religious narratives carried out by Kiai Ghofur is at the level of connotative meaning. Meaning can be understood by looking at the concepts that are believed by the people associated with these symbols. With this concept, the meaning of the ape-snake symbol indicates Sufistic values in the Islamic tradition. The symbol of the mustard tree is intended to symbolize unity. Whereas, the symbol of boat-aircraft shows the incorporation of traditional and modern nature in the education system in his Pesantren (Islamic Boarding School)
