TRANSFER KAPITAL: Studi Praktik Ulama Dalam Pengentasan Kemiskinan di Kota Tasikmalaya, Jawa Barat
This study is carried out to explain a capital transfer owned by Ulama in act of eradicating poverty. Religious leaders known as ulama are intelligent individuals with traits common to the pesantren. They have their own habits, which include living in an environment where Islamic ideals are ingrained. In such contexts, there is something to do with how do the ulama go about their daily lives in a society that is always changing. This study uses a qualitative method. Inductively, it is possible to deduce the research findings from the described phenomena. The data were collected systematically through observation, interviews, and recording of data sources. The data collection took place at the Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School in Tasikmalaya City. The habitus theory is used in the study framework to examine the methods of ulama to alleviate poverty. According to the study\u27s findings, the ulama possess socioeconomic, cultural, and symbolic capital. Transferring one capital into another is possible. In the pesantren setting, community empowerment serves as the format. Additionally, the ulama amassed material wealth in the form of religious capital and other types of capital, which improved their standing in society. The process of multiplying habits with capital strength that is gathered in the social environment that allows for a process of interaction between individuals who play a role in poverty alleviation is how the clergy practice of it
RECONSTRUING URBAN MUSLIM ENTREPRENEUR PROGRAM ON VOLUNTARY ALMSGIVING: Deconstruction, Social Theology and Plurality
In social realm, the experience of religious communities has created diverse pious space in response to the elevating number of the urban poverty. Religious expression reduces the problem of poverty. The acts gave responses to modernity challenge, as pointed out in Weberian view, that characterized in selfish individualism and egocentrism. Sedekah as a concept of almsgiving sometimes correlated to the charity and philanthropy, but it also serves as complementary vision. This article seeks to employ the deconstruction of almsgiving program among the representative of Muslim urban entrepreneur. It aims at uncover the inspiration of voluntary almsgiving program in urban setting. Applying qualitative method, the article uses empirical secondary data found in both literature and netnography. Applying social theology approach that combined the hybrid theological and sociological ones, the argument exemplifies the alternative reading on sedekah program initiated by Jusuf Hamka, one of urban Muslim entrepreneurs. The article suggests the praxis of voluntary almsgiving program gave a way to inspiration that akin to active and equal traits amid diverse socio-religious practice and social classes. The deconstruction of sedekah program constitutes the pluralist view which is needed in a more democratic and diverse type of society in urban setting
KONSEP PLURALISME DALAM TASAWUF FALSAFI
Uniting Allah swt is one of the obligatory foundations in Islam. Therefore, Islamic scholars flocked to look for a valid concept of the oneness of Allah when faced with the plurality of things that can be sensed by humans, be it the sun, moon, mountains, trees, animals, to the plurality of humans themselves. As one of the colors of Islam, Sufism was also present to develop the concept of monotheism. Which is filled with debates between the pros and cons to this day. His understanding that looks eccentric/anti-mainstream is often in the spotlight. So that not a few Sufi figures were excommunicated, imprisoned, tortured and killed. Concepts such as fana\u27, baqa\u27, ittihad, Hulul, Wihdat al-Manifest, Nur Muhammad to the limits of the Ahlu Sunnah wal Jama\u27ah madhhab in Sufism are intellectual and cultural properties that were inherited by the previous Sufis to the generations of Islam after them. RESEPSI AL-QURˋAN DALAM ANIMASI RIKO THE SERIES DI YOU TOBE: KAJIAN LIVING QURˋAN DI MEDIA SOSIAL
Artikel ini membahas tentang kajian living Qur’an pada content Riko the Series, animasi Qur’ani yang diproduksi oleh Garis Sepuluh Corporation. Secara literal dalam kontennya menampilkan langsung persinggungan antara ayat dengan cerita yang termuat, story Islami dengan pesan-pesan religi dan edukasi ilmiah dengan gaya sederhana yang mudah dipahami anak-anak. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk meninjau penjelasan Al-Qurˋan yang ditampilkan dalam konten animasi Riko the Series dan mendeskripsikan resepsi Al-Qurˋan oleh pihak produksi Riko the Series. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kualitatif berupa studi lapangan (field research) yang menggunakan pendekatan etnografi secara virtual dengan teori resepsi Al-Qurˋan yang dikembangkan Ahmad Rafiq, yakni; resepsi eksegesis, resepsi estetis, dan resepsi fungsional. Hasil penelitian ini ialah setiap penjelasan Al-Qurˋan yang ditampilkan selalu dihubungkan dengan pendekatan saintis untuk memudahkan anak-anak dalam memahami kegiatan sehari-harinya. Tim produksi telah melakukan resepsi Al-Qurˋan secara eksegesis (penjelasan Al-Qurˋan dengan pendekatan saintis), estetis (sajian Al-Qurˋan yang dikemas dalam bentuk cerita animasi), dan fungsional (landasan Al-Qurˋan dalam proyek Riko the Series yang terinspirasi dari surah an-Nashr).

This article discusses the study of the living Qur\u27an through the content of Riko the Series, a Qur\u27anic animation produced by Garis Ten Corporation. Literally in its content, it displays direct contact between verses and the stories it contains: Islamic stories with religious messages and scientific education in a simple style that is easy for children to understand. The purpose of this study is to review the Al-Qur\u27an explanation displayed in the animated content of Riko the Series and to describe the reception of the Al-Qur\u27an by the production team of Riko the Series. This research is a qualitative study in the form of field research using a virtual ethnographic approach with the Al-Qur\u27an reception theory developed by Ahmad Rafiq, namely, exegesis reception, aesthetic reception, and functional reception. The result of this research is that every Al-Qur\u27an explanation displayed is always associated with a scientific approach to make it easier for children to understand their daily activities. The production team has carried out a reception of the Qur\u27an in an ethical manner (explanation of the Qur\u27an with a scientific approach), aesthetically (presentation of the Qur\u27an packaged in the form of animated stories), and functionally (the foundation of the Qur\u27an in the Riko the Series project inspired by Surah an-Nashr).

RELIGIOUS LIFE OF THE KUTA TRADITIONAL VILLAGE COMMUNITY IN THE INFLUENCE MODERNIZATION ERA
Abstract: So far, the influence of modernization has always been identified with urban communities because of the ease of accessing modernization products. However, the impact of modernization can also be felt by traditional and rural communities, and the influence of modernization thought by the people of Kampung Kuta Ciamis, West Java. This paper aims to reveal the understanding of the people of Kampung Kuta towards religion and modernization and how modernization influences the religious life of the people of Kampung Kuta. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a phenomenological approach. The research findings show that the people of Kampung Kuta have a firm understanding of Islam combined with traditional ceremonies going on for generations, such as the ceremony to build a new house, the presentation ceremony, the commemoration ceremony for Earth Day, and the babarit ceremony. The various traditions are essentially a form of gratitude, gain the benefit, and keep away harm. In understanding modernization, the people of Kampung Kuta Sudan can become players of modernization through the use of modernization products in the form of modern communication and transportation tools. They also welcomed the use of Kampung Kuta as one of the leading tourist destinations in Ciamis. The positive response of the indigenous people of Kampung Kuta to modernization shows that the theory of rejection of modernization by traditional communities is very relative, meaning that not all people with conventional (ancient) styles reject modernization.

Abstrak: Sejauh ini pengaruh modernisasi selalu didentikkan kepada masyarakat kota karena kemudahan dalam mengakses produk-produk modernisasinya. Namun, pengaruh modernisasi juga bisa dirasakan oleh masyarakat tradisional dan pedalaman, seperti halnya pengaruh modernisasi yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat Kampung Kuta Ciamis, Jawa Barat. Tulisan ini bertujuan mengungkap bagaimana pemahaman masyarakat Kampung Kuta terhadap agama dan modernisasi, serta bagaimana pengaruh modernisasi terhadap kehidupan keberagamaan masyarakat Kampung Kuta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif-deskriptif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Kampung Kuta memiliki pemahaman agama Islam sangat kuat yang dipadukan dengan upacara-upacara adat yang sudah berlangsung turun temurun seperti upacara mendirikan rumah baru, upacara penyajian, upacara peringatan hari bumi, dan upacara babarit. Berbagai upacara yang dilaksanakan esensinya adalah bentuk rasa syukur, memperoleh kemaslahatan, dan menjauhkan marabahaya. Dalam pemahaman soal modernisasi, masyarakat Kampung Kuta sudah mampu menjaid pemain dari modernisasi melalui penggunaan produk-produk modernisasi berupa alat komunikasi dan transportasi modern. Mereka juga menyambut baik penggunaan Kampung Kuta sebagai salah satu destinasi wisata unggulan di Ciamis. Respon positif masyarakat adat Kampung Kuta terhadap modernisasi menunjukkan bahwa teori penolakan modernisasi oleh masyarakat tradisional sangat relative adanya, artinya tidak semua masyarakat dengan corak tradisonal (kuno) menolak modernisasi.

RELIGIOUS DISCOURSE IN THE ARAB MEDIA
The goal of oral and written Arab media is to send a message both inside and outside the country, to correct a misconception, or to spread a negative opinion about a particular aspect of politics, society, or the economy for a variety of reasons. Under the guise of modernizing the religious discourse, condemning its past, emancipating itself from religion, or restricting itself to international norms, this discourse had a presence in the Arab media. On the other hand, a different discourse seeks to portray Islam as a religion of peace, rights, and responsibilities as well as an embrace of others free from prejudice. The 2011 attack contributed to the growth of Islamophobia, which necessitates an inclusive conversation for understanding. This study will examine the consequences of this prevalent discourse on social cohesion in the Arab world. For this purpose, many institutions and scholars try to clarify the issue to improve social and religious life.

Perbandingan Konstruktivis dan Parennialis dalam Menjelaskan Pengalaman Mistik: Constructivist and Parennialis in Explaining Mystical Experiences
In the discourse of philosophy of mysticism, there are at least two opposing views in explaining the expression of mystical experience, namely constructivist and perennialist. The constructivist views that mystical expression is closely related to the mystical tradition that originates so that the symbols used cannot be separated from tradition. This relates to the cognitive qualities possessed by mystics which shape the reality they find. Meanwhile, the perennialist argues that mystical expressions can be separated from tradition, so mystics often use symbols that are universal and cross-tradition. Discovered reality transcends cognitive influence. This article will analyse the comparison of the two views. The method used in this research is comparative analysis to find a middle ground that the two views are possible to juxtapose. I found a meeting point between the two views is the issue of ineffability or the unspeakable nature which is one of the characteristics of mystical experience. This problem shows that the relationship between experience and understanding in the case of spiritual experience is so complex. There are facts that are experienced but cannot be expressed so that mystics choose to remain silent or make paradoxical expressions. Therefore, the solution given is the ineffability character of mystical experience which cannot be ignored by constructivists and at the same time does not show that mystical experience is a pure experience as perennialist claim.

Broadcasting Umrah through the Hadith of Hajj Badal in the COVID-19 Pandemic Era.
This article delves into an extensive project concerning the development of the umrah industry in Indonesia and its relationship with the interpretation of Hadith. Specifically, it examines the impact of the pandemic on this brief pilgrimage practice in Indonesia, a predominantly Muslim society. Despite the economic setbacks, the pandemic has significantly influenced the widespread use of social media globally. Indonesian Muslims, being active netizens, have shown a strong desire to reconnect with the sacred sites in Mecca and Medina. This article employs a multifaceted approach to investigate the utilization of social media by Indonesian muṭawwifs-vloggers, employing intersecting methodologies. Firstly, it conducts a textual study focusing on thematic badal Umrah. Secondly, it involves (online) observations and participation in the activities of various muṭawwifs vloggers based in Saudi Arabia. The result of this research is that cyber-mediated Umrah experiences cannot fully substitute the physical pilgrimage journey. Badal Umrah, primarily rooted in the badal Hajj Hadiths. It emerges as a crucial practice during times of crises and being used as legitimacy inoffering assistance to those who are physically unable to undertake the journey. Consequently, there has been an increased acceptance of Hadiths related to Hajj and Umrah during the pandemic, ." In addition, Muṭawwifs play a pivotal role in facilitating communication between i forced mobility of aspiring pilgrims during the pandemic, thereby emphasizing the importance of ethical considerations. Lastly, the activities in the cyber-space realm align with three essential dimensions: providing an imaginative travel experience for dispersed audiences, engaging muṭawwifs as navigators in the cyber-space, and addressing ethical considerations concerning badal Umrah amidst health and financial challenges
ETIKA PLATO DAN ARISTOTELES DAN RELEVANSINYA BAGI KONSEP KEBAHAGIAN DALAM ISLAM: Etika Plato dan Aristoteles dalam Perspektif Islam
This research discusses the relevance of Plato and Aristotle\u27s ethical views to the concept of happiness from the perspective of Islam. Ethics is a fundamental discipline in philosophy that examines morality and how humans live to achieve true goodness. In the history of traditional philosophy, ethics is divided into four branches: logic, metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics itself. Plato and Aristotle\u27s ethical views regarding happiness emphasize the importance of moral virtues and self-improvement through the understanding of knowledge. Plato emphasizes the significance of philosophical thinking and the regulation of reason to attain a good and happy life. On the other hand, Aristotle sees moral goodness as the highest goal in human actions, where happiness is obtained through the development of good character and moral virtues. The perspective of Islam also emphasizes moral values and obedience to Allah as integral parts of achieving genuine happiness. Islamic ethics understands and considers previous philosophical thoughts, including the perspectives of Plato and Aristotle, to apply relevant ethical principles in the contemporary context. This research adopts the library research method, collecting data from various sources such as books, scholarly journals, and classical writings of Plato and Aristotle. The data analysis is descriptive and analytical, aiming to comprehend the classical ethical views and their relevance to the Islamic ethical perspective. The findings of this research indicate that there are similarities, differences, and relevance between the ethical views of Plato and Aristotle and the ethical perspective in Islam. The common ground is that the moral values advocated in both perspectives can be applied in the context of modern human life.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini membahas tentang relevansi pandangan etika Plato dan Aristoteles terhadap konsep kebahagiaan dari perspektif Islam. Etika adalah disiplin pokok dalam filsafat yang mengkaji tentang moralitas dan bagaimana manusia hidup agar mencapai kebaikan yang hakiki. Dalam sejarah filsafat tradisional, etika terbagi menjadi empat cabang, yaitu logika, metafisika, epistemologi, dan etika itu sendiri. Pandangan etika Plato dan Aristoteles terkait kebahagiaan menekankan pentingnya kebajikan moral dan peningkatan diri melalui pemahaman pengetahuan. Plato menekankan pentingnya pikiran filosofis dan pengaturan akal untuk mencapai kehidupan yang baik dan bahagia. Sementara Aristoteles melihat kebaikan moral sebagai tujuan tertinggi dalam tindakan manusia, di mana kebahagiaan diperoleh melalui pembangunan karakter dan keutamaan moral yang baik. Perspektif Islam juga menekankan nilai-nilai moral dan ketaatan kepada Allah sebagai bagian dari mencapai kebahagiaan yang hakiki. Etika dalam Islam memahami dan mempertimbangkan pemikiran-pemikiran filosofis sebelumnya, termasuk pandangan Plato dan Aristoteles, untuk menerapkan prinsip-prinsip etika yang relevan dalam konteks zaman saat ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode library research atau penelitian kepustakaan dengan mengumpulkan data dari berbagai sumber, seperti buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan tulisan-tulisan klasik Plato dan Aristoteles. Analisis data bersifat deskriptif analitis untuk memahami pandangan etika klasik tersebut dan bagaimana pandangan-pandangan tersebut relevan dengan pandangan etika dalam Islam. Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat ditemukan persamaan, perbedaan, dan relevansi dengan pandangan etika Islam adalah bahwa nilai-nilai moral yang diperjuangkan dalam kedua pandangan tersebut dapat diaplikasikan dalam konteks kehidupan manusia modern.
