In this study, invested in the right to know one's genetic origins, we will try to ascertain whether, with regard to challenging filiation, all of us, regardless of the circumstances surrounding conception or birth, can challenge untruthful maternity or paternity. Furthermore, we aim to contribute to a future perspective characterised by equality and non-discrimination against children born in or out of wedlock.
The Túcume Ecomuseum in Peru is the result of 35 years of heritage management experience within a community neighboring the archaeological monument known as the "Tucume Pyramids," an elite urban center dating back to the development of the Lambayeque culture between the 10th and 15th centuries. It witnessed the conquest of the Chimú armies in the mid-14th century, the Inca in the late 15th century, and the Castilian presence beginning in the 16th century. As a result of the European conquest and the establishment of the viceroyalty, Christianity was incorporated, which today is one of the most important components of the local culture. In this context of evangelization, the Dance of the Devils, a remnant of the ancient sacramental plays, was eventually incorporated. These plays sought to interpret or disseminate the most transcendent aspects of Christianity through allegory, painting, music, dance, and theater. The communities in this territory, at the same time, are custodians of an ancient culture, which is still expressed in diverse ways today in their most conspicuous traditions, thanks to their deep roots in the pre-Hispanic past. The purpose of this article is to briefly present the most notable aspects of the heritage management process related to the Túcume Dance of the Devils and its notable impact on the other components of the Túcume Ecomuseum. The consequences of this process reveal results that can contribute to the debate on heritage management concepts from the perspective of new museology or social museology. Keywords: Ecomuseum, social museology, heritage management, sustainability.

Domestic Violence and Children’s Rights: An Analysis of the Duties to Good Administration of Justice and to Effective Remedies Under Articles 41 and 47 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union and the Istanbul Convention
Domestic violence constitutes a grave violation of human dignity and individual rights. Unfortunately, inadequate communication and coordination between criminal and family courts often hinder the effective implementation of the Istanbul Convention. Even when interaction occurs, family court decisions can sometimes conflict with criminal convictions, leaving victims and their children without adequate protection. A striking example is the ruling of the Tribunal da Relação de Lisboa (TRL)1 of 11 January 2022,2 where the Court ordered a shared residence arrangement for a child with the abusive parent. This decision fails to comply with the Istanbul Convention, as well as with Articles 9 and 18 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), and Articles 41 and 47 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union (EU Charter), as it neglects to provide effective remedies and good administration of justice for the victims involved, once the child was also a witness victim of the aggressions against the mother
Etiologic agents isolated from companion animals with otitis
Objectives: Otitis externa is one of the most common types of infections seen in companion animals, particularly in dogs. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of etiologic agents in companion animals (dogs and cats) with otitis in Lisbon area between September 2023 and June 2024.
Material and methods: A total of 71 companion animals with otitis were included in this study. Bacterial species identification was conducted by MALDI-TOF (VITEK® MS) and by PCR. For Staphylococcus spp. isolates, antimicrobial susceptibility testing was performed using the disc diffusion method following the CLSI guidelines.
Results: Eighty-two bacterial isolates were obtained from the 71 animals included in this study. Among the bacteria isolates, most were Gram-positive bacteria (85.4%, n=70/82), while Gram-negative bacteria were 14.6% (n=12/82).
Regarding Gram-positive bacteria Staphylococcus spp. was the most frequent bacteria isolated (91.4%, n=64/70), namely S. pseudintermedius, (64.1%, n=41/64), S. schleiferi (12.5%, n=8/64), S. felis (9.4%, n=6/64), S. aureus (3.1%, n=2/64), S. epidermidis (3.1%, n=4/64), S. haemoliticus, S.lugdunensis and S pettenkoferi (1.6%, n=1/64). About 8.6% (n=6/70) of the isolates were Enterococcus spp., consisting of 4 isolates of Enterococcus faecalis, one isolate of Enterococcus faecium, and one isolate of Enterococcus canintestini.
Regarding Staphylococcus spp., 28.1% (n=18/64) were methicillin-resistant (MRSA). Among these isolates, 14 were S. pseudintermedius (MRSP), 2 were S. epidermidis (MRSE), and 2 were coagulase-negative staphylococci (CoNS), specifically S. haemolyticus. About Gram-negative bacteria the most common were Escherichia coli (41.7%, n=5/12), followed by Proteus mirabilis (33.3%, n=4/12), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (16.2%, n=2/12) and Klebsiella pneumoniae (8.3%, n=1/12).
Conclusion: This study emphasizes the importance of identifying and characterizing pathogens with potential zoonotic risks for infection management and prevention. Healthcare providers must prioritize preventing the transmission and spread of MDR bacteria through active surveillance.

Non-Stereoscopic Stereoscopy
The principal application of the stereoscope is to induce apparent depth from two slightly different stimuli – usually photographs. In his classical article describing the stereoscope, Wheatstone referred to this as stereoscopic depth perception. Wheatstone also presented radically different patterns in the stereoscope thereby inducing binocular rivalry. Whereas stereoscopic depth perception reflects cooperation between the two eyes, binocular rivalry is evidence of their competition. Rivalry is an example of non-stereoscopic stereoscopy: the stereoscope is used to display a phenomenon that does not yield the perception of solidity. Anaglyphic examples are shown which indicate the scope of binocular rivalry art
Maintaining Creativity and Ensuring Research: Teaching Creative Research in Film and Media Arts. A Personal Reflection.
Current article is a reflection of a personal journey of transitioning from an artistic research track PhD student to a supervisor and lecturer helping the others in navigating the confusing and promising seas of artistic research. In 2020, I was the first PhD student to defend my thesis on the artistic research track of the /Anonymised/ School and as soon as I had defended, I was asked to serve in the position of the head of artistic research the track. As such, I experienced the trials and tribulations of the beginnings first hand and am now in a unique position to reflect upon the challenges we faced. As I write this, the two separate tracks of research in /Anonymised/ School have been merged into one, but as the period I experienced it, they were still separate, my reflection builds upon the previous structure
BOARD GAMES ON THE PATH TO ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABILITY
The response to global Anthropocene challenges requires a reimagined science education, shifting its goal from supplying human capital with skills and capabilities in specific areas toward educating scientifically literate citizens who can make informed sustainable choices (Gough, 2021; Luttenberger & Mandić, 2022). Aiming to contribute to such change, this article explores the intersection of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education and education for sustainability (EfS), emphasizing the need for innovative frameworks and tools to facilitate a transition toward a more sustainable future. As gamification emerges as a powerful mechanism for engaging learners, fostering scientific literacy, and driving sustainable practices, this article presents an original framework that leverages the synergies between these areas and supports the design of three STEAM educational board games addressing environmental education for sustainability.
Editing Video Streams Through Natural Language Embeddings: Keyframe Sequencing Using Transformers
The automation of video editing processes with artificial intelligence (AI) is a flourishing field of research, whether the purpose is to save labour, or motivate the emergence of unexpected ideas. Informed by theories on human-like reasoning, problem-solving and learning, these technologies can produce video sequences without much human intervention. In this article we showcase the design and implementation of a system that sequences video datasets based on semantic correlations with natural language. Our system generates videos automatically with tractable principles for montage, removing the human editor – if and when they want – from the process of individual element selection
