A Montfortian Education Charter Model for the 21st for Students in Schools in the Saint Gabriel's Foundation, Thailand
This study aimed to develop and validate 'A Montfortian Education Charter Model (MEC) for the 21st Century for Students in Schools under the Saint Gabriel's Foundation, Thailand.' The researcher utilized both qualitative and quantitative methods to collect data for model development. Qualitative data were derived from document analysis of relevant literature revealing 47 desired characteristics essential for Montfortian students in the 21st Century. These characteristics were systematically categorized into ten dimensions. Quantitative data were collected by distributing a dual-response format questionnaire to a sample of 1904 students enrolled in grades 7-9 across 11 targeted schools under St. Gabriel Foundation, Thailand, during the first semester of 2023. The questionnaire demonstrated a validity index of 1.0 (IOC index) and a high reliability of 0.99 (Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient). The results from the PNImodified identified the need for improvement in developing the Model. The structure of the Model includes ten dimensions and the integration of student formation programs. A 30-hour training session involving 80 experimental students from grades 7-9 was conducted for the model assessment. The experiment indicated a statistically significant increase in the students' intended knowledge at a significance level of 0.01, confirming the efficiency and appropriateness of the Model. This research recommends that school leaders integrate MEC into the 21st-century educational framework at all levels of school administration with genuine commitment and patience. Furthermore, fostering the understanding and appreciation of MEC among school personnel through continuous education is essential for successful implementation. The findings of this study contribute valuable insights for educators and administrators seeking to enhance the educational experience of Montfortian students in the evolving landscape of the 21st Century
How FDI and Oil Prices Affect Sustainable Tourism Developments: Evidence from 24 Asia-Pacific Countries
This study uniquely estimates how foreign direct investment (FDI) and oil prices influence both short-term and long-term tourism developments using a panel Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model. Analyzing a sample of 575 annual observations from 24 Asia-Pacific countries between 1997 and 2020, the study finds that a 1% increase in FDI growth rate leads to a 3.62% short term increase in tourism growth rate. Similarly, a 1% increase in oil price results in a 0.2% increase in tourism growth rate in the current year and 0.14% in the long term. These findings align with existing literature, highlighting the region's advantage in attracting FDI. It is consequently recommended that policymakers establish clear FDI policies for the tourism sector, to improve infrastructure, enhance the competitiveness of local business, and implement macroeconomic policies to manage oil price volatility, promoting sustainable tourism development
Factors Influencing Behavioral Intention and Use Behavior of Junior Students to Use Ubiquitous Learning in Chengdu, China
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that influence the behavioral intention and behavior of third year college students when using ubiquitous Learning in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. The key variables are understanding u-learning, assimilating u-learning, applying u-learning, perceived usefulness, e-learning motivation, social influence, behavioral intention, and use behavior. Research design, data, and methodology: The researcher employed quantitative techniques and questionnaires to gather data from the designated population. Our sampling approach encompassed purposive, quota, and convenience sampling methods. Prior to questionnaire distribution, we assessed content validity and reliability through pilot tests, utilizing the Item-Objective Congruence Index and Cronbach's Alpha. To scrutinize the data, assess model fit, and validate the causal relationships among variables for hypothesis testing, we conducted Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling. Results: The findings indicate that the conceptual model can explain the behavioral intention and usage behavior. understanding u-learning and applying u-learning significantly influence perceived usefulness. Perceived usefulness, e-learning motivation, social influence significantly influences behavioral intention towards use behavior. Nevertheless, assimilating u-learning has no significant influence on perceived usefulness. Conclusions: The adoption of ubiquitous learning among third-year college students holds the promise of enhancing their educational experience and preparing them for the challenges of the digital age
A Research on the Influencing Factors of Fourth Year College Students’ Entrepreneurship Intention and Behavior in Chengdu, China
Purpose: The primary objective of this research is to explore the determinants impacting the entrepreneurial aspirations and actions of university students located in Chengdu, China. The conceptual framework of the study is constructed around key factors, including perceived entrepreneurial motivation, perceived controllability, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, intention, and behavior. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: The study employed a quantitative approach, distributing survey to 500 students in senior year. To ensure content validity and reliability, the questionnaire underwent item-objective congruence and pilot tests. Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling were utilized to analyze the data, assess the goodness of fit of the model, and examine the causal relationships among variables for hypothesis testing. Results: The results suggest that all hypotheses tested in this study have been confirmed. Notably, perceived entrepreneurial motivation exerts a substantial influence on attitude. Moreover, perceived controllability and entrepreneurial self-efficacy exhibit significant impacts on the perception of behavioral control. Additionally, attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control collectively wield a considerable influence on the intention to engage in entrepreneurial behavior. Conclusions: The research findings point to a need for entrepreneurship course developers, college administrators, and entrepreneurship educators to prioritize the enhancement of students' comprehension of entrepreneurial intention
Investigating Factors Influencing Undergraduate Students’ E-learning Satisfaction, and Continuance Intention in Chengdu, China
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore factors influencing undergraduate students’ e-learning satisfaction and continuance intention in Chengdu, China. Research design, data, and methodology: Sample data was collected using quantitative method and questionnaire. Item-objective congruence and pilot tests were adopted to test the content validity and reliability of the questionnaire before distribution. Data was analyzed by utilizing Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to validate the model’s goodness of fit and confirm the causal relationship among variables for hypothesis testing. Results: The results reveal that this conceptual model could predict which factors influence undergraduate students’ e-learning satisfaction and continuance intention in Chengdu, China. The students’ e-learning satisfaction was the strongest predictor of continuance intention to use both directly and indirectly, which students’ e-learning satisfaction was driven significantly by system quality, confirmation, and perceived usefulness. However, the relationship between service quality, information quality and satisfaction are not supported. Conclusions: This study suggested that developers of the cloud-based e-learning systems of higher education institutions should focus on improving the quality factors of the cloud-based e-learning systems for students to perceive the system as useful and would further enhance continuance intention toward using the cloud-based e-learning systems
Guidelines for Developing Marketing Strategies for the complexity of Purchasing Cannabis Extract Products Through the online platform of Thai people.
Changes in the law that allow the use of cannabis extract products for medical and research purposes in Thailand It has opened up opportunities for the cannabis extract market to expand rapidly. Especially in online channels where consumers can easily access products. However, the complexity of purchasing these products remains a key issue as consumers face legal concerns. Platform reliability, product quality, and limited usage data The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that affect the complexity of purchasing cannabis extract products through online platforms and to develop marketing strategies that simplify and increase consumer confidence. The data was collected from a sample of consumers in Thailand who had ordered cannabis extract products through online platforms. The sample was sampled according to convenience sampling method with a 7-level gauge questionnaire and analyzed data that had been verified for accuracy with IOC (Index of Consistency). The data analysis used descriptive statistics such as mean, percentage, and regression analysis using SPSS to investigate factors that affect the complexity of the purchase decision. The results show that consumer factors have a partial effect on decision-making complexity. The correlation was negative (value B = -0.060, Sig. = 0.064). In addition, online platform factors have a clear effect on complexity (value B = -0.073, Sig. = 0.028), suggesting that difficult platform implementation increases the complexity of decision-making. While the marketing ingredient factor (4Ps) and legal factors have no obvious effect on complexity
The Efficacy of an Expressive Arts-Based Counseling Intervention in Improving Resilience and Well-being of Parents of Children with Intellectual Disabilities in Bangkok: A Mixed Methods Design
Persons with disabilities face various obstacles in their daily lives and among them, children suffer the most. Consequently, parents of children with intellectual disabilities (CID) often experience a range of uncomfortable emotions associated with their children’s disability, and their own well-being is usually overlooked. Many schools try to alleviate the stress of the children but overlook that of the parents. Although Expressive Arts-Based Counseling (EABC) interventions have been used to help parents of other populations, such interventions have not been used with parents of CID, especially in Thailand. The present study tested an EABC intervention for parents of CID through an explanatory sequential mixed methods research design. The Quasi experimental research design assessed the perceived social support, resilience, self-efficacy, and well-being of 11 parents in the experimental group and 13 parents in the control group. A repeated measures ANOVA was performed to compare the efficacy of the EABC interventions. A comparison of the pre- and post-test results found that resilience and parent well-being had improved significantly. Conversely, perceived social support and parental self-efficacy did not improve with the EABC intervention. The qualitative research with four parents participating in semi-structured interviews helped to establish the potential for the improvement of parental self-efficacy and social support factors. Three important themes emerged: Qualities of the therapeutic environment, the therapeutic process, and validation, coping, and application of the therapeutic insights. Hence an important implication of the study was that EABC interventions could be encouraged with parents and children in special needs schools
In-app factors influencing customers' intention to use online food delivery application through smartphone in Bangkok
Purpose – The purpose of this research is to determine the significant influence of prior online purchase experience, information quality, ease of use, price, and perceived convenience towards customers’ intention to use online food delivery applications.
Design/Methodology/Approach – This research uses primary and secondary data collection methods to analyze the in-app factors influencing customers’ intention to use online food delivery applications. The data was collected from 385 respondents who live in Bangkok, have a smartphone that can access the internet, and have used online food delivery application prior in the past. This research referenced three theoretical frameworks from previous studies to construct a conceptual framework.
Findings – This research is intended to discover the in-app factors influencing customers’ intention to use online food delivery applications. The findings of this research shows that information quality, ease of use, and price have significant influence towards customers’ intention to use online food delivery applications.
Research Limitations/Implications – The limitations of this research was limited to Bangkok and focused on smartphone users with prior experience, potentially limiting its generalizability. The results suggest that competitive prices, clear menus, and an easy-to-use interface are key factors in attracting users.
Originality/Value – This research focuses on significant in-app factors influencing customers’ intention to use online food delivery applications.

Deciphering Investor Adoption of Digital Gold: A UTAUT Model Perspective
Purpose: The advent of the digital revolution in the gold market has given rise to digital gold as a viable investment avenue. When juxtaposed with traditional physical investments, gold exhibits significantly greater potential for generating returns compared to other asset types. As gold is a haven for political risk, economic risk, and war, to hedge and reduce risks from other investments, this study was focused mainly on to assess the factors affecting individual investor’s behaviour intention to invest in digital gold. Based on the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) model this study contended that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating condition influence their intention to invest in digital gold. The findings revealed that. Research design, data and methodology: A self-administered questionnaire was developed and distributed online, yielding a total of 200 responses, which were analyzed using structural equation modelling. Results: The findings revealed that performance expectancy and facilitating condition significantly affect the behaviour intention of investor investing in digital gold
