「エーゲ海・キクラデス諸島の歴史的な集住環境の空間構成と地域固有のエコロジカルな環境構築技術についての研究」をテーマに，キクラデス諸島の島嶼集落の調査を実施した。これは，ギリシャ・エーゲ海に浮かぶ伝統的な島嶼集落の空間構成と地域固有のエコロジカルな環境観を歴史的生活空間が持つ特徴的な空間形成技術として捉え，持続可能な集住環境の構成原理と固有価値の多角的な評価モデルの作成を通じて，それらを可視的に検討することを目的としている。これらの成果を手掛かりに，今まで行ってき南西諸を含むモンスーンアジアの島嶼集落研究と比較することで，自然環境に対応した生活空間の持続可能性や，島嶼型減災に備える「リスクリダクション」，歴史的景観に配慮した景観形成への方途を検討するものである。加えて研究を推進するための国際的な共同研究体制の構築を図りたいというのが研修の主なテーマであった。departmental bulletin pape
Strategies to prevent repeated failures under pressure and its development: A qualitative analysis
Full text linkThis qualitative study explored how athletes develop strategies to prevent repeated failures under pressure. The authors selected two female college softball players and conducted individual semi-structured interviews, each lasting approximately 20 minutes. Using Steps for Coding and Theorization (SCAT), the authors analyzed the linguistic data from these interviews to describe the emerging storylines and theories. Regarding strategy development, Player A reported focusing on "the one ball in front of me" and directing her consciousness toward necessary actions. She also benefited from the social support of a psychological practitioner and experienced success, which facilitated her strategy development to avoid repeated failures. Player B emphasized her "contribution to the team" and her awareness of her capabilities. Her approach was shaped by the team's policy of increasing "contribution to the team with progression in grade" and the slogan, "100% for the team." Future research should investigate the relationship between personality traits and perceptions of failure to enhance understanding of how individual differences influence athletes' responses to failure.departmental bulletin pape
