Characteristics of Japanʼs Information Literacy in the IE-School Competency Table in Comparison with UNESCO's Media Information Literacy.
Get PDF我が国の情報活用能力の要素とその体系表例( 以下、IE-School 体系表) をユネスコのメディア情報リテラシー（MIL）と比較し、その特徴と課題を検討した。その結果、問題解決と探究を目的とした情報リテラシーの領域は共通しているが、IE-School 体系表では、取得した情報の分析と整理についての具体的で詳細な記述が多い一方で、情報の検索、検証、妥当性や信頼性の吟味については抽象的な記述にとどまっていた。また、知識社会におけるエンパワーメントや社会参加、民主的で多様な社会を支える市民の基礎的なコンピテンシー育成という観点が見られず、批判的思考力の育成についての記述が具体的ではないこと、メディア・リテラシーに関連する要素が見あたらないことが明らかになった。最後に、IE-School 体系表には要素の抽象度に一貫性が見られないため、階層的なコンピテンシーモデルとして再検討する必要性が示唆された。This paper compares the elements of Japanʼs Information Literacy (Jyoho-Katsuyo-Noryoku) Systematic Table Example (hereafter referred to as the IE-School Systematic Table) with UNESCO's Media Information Literacy (MIL) to clarify its characteristics and challenges. The results show that although they share the information literacy domains for problem solving and inquiry, the IE-School Systematic Table has many specific and detailed descriptions of analyzing and organizing acquired information, while it only has abstract descriptions of searching, verifying, and examining the validity and reliability of the information. In addition, it became clear that the perspective of fostering empowerment and social participation in the knowledge society and the basic competencies of citizens who support a democratic and diverse society are not found, the descriptions of fostering critical thinking skills are not specific, and elements related to media literacy are not found. Finally, the IE-School System Table shows no consistency in the level of abstraction of the elements, suggesting the need to reexamine the IE-School system as a hierarchical competency model.journal articl
The Krupp’s ‘Arbeiter Siedlung’ of the 1870s -2―On the details and characteristic or piloting role of ‘Kolonie Baumhof’ and ‘Siedlung Kronenberg’
Get PDF前稿1) で述べた様に，クルップ社は1870 年代初頭にいくつもの住宅団地を建設した。その当時建設されたクルップ団地の中で，バウムホフ団地は同社初の郊外型団地であり，庭を持つ接地型及び準接地型住宅を中心に150 戸余りが建設された。同団地では，他の労働者団地より家賃も高かったので，入居者側の自尊心や向上心を考慮して，規模の大きい住宅群を規模の小さい住宅が取り囲むという配置計画が用いられていた特徴が判明した。また，クローネンベルク団地は，当時はドイツばかりでなく，産業革命がドイツより半世紀先行した英国でも開発されたことが無い，1600 戸近い大規模な住宅団地であった。そして共用緑地の中に複数階の住棟が建ち，公園，市場広場，小売り施設，音楽スタンド，ビアホールと集会施設，学校等の都市施設を備えた，後の住宅団地のプロトタイプであった。即ち，クローネンベルクは後の住宅地開発における先導的役割を果たしたことが判明した。In the early 1870s, the Krupp company of Germany built a number of housing estates, as the author reported in a previous paper. Among Krupp’s housing estates, “Kolonie Baumhof”, contained about 150 housing units with or adjacent to gardens, was the first of their suburban housing estate. The rent prices of these houses were higher than those of Krupp’s other housing estates, and the layout was characterized by smaller housing units surrounding larger ones, in order to promote self-esteem and aspiration on the part of the tenants. Another large housing estate was “Siedlung Kronenberg” with nearly 1,600 housing units. It was the first of its kind in the scale in Germany. Also, the housing estate as large as it had never been built even in the U.K. where the Industrial Revolution had raised half century earlier than Germany. And it served as a prototype of later housing estates, with residential buildings on a common green, a park, a market square, retail facilities, a music stand, a beer hall and meeting facilities, school and other urban facilities.
