INTERNALISASI NILAI NILAI MODERASI BERAGAMA PADA PENYULUH AGAMA ISLAM DALAM PERSPEKTIF SOSIOLOGI ISLAM
Religious moderation is a vital component in maintaining harmony within Indonesia's multicultural society. However, previous research has been limited in examining the internalization process of moderation values among key actors such as Islamic religious instructors. This study aims to analyze the internalization of religious moderation values among these instructors through the lens of Islamic sociology. Employing a qualitative approach, data were gathered through participatory observation and semi-structured interviews with 12 religious instructors in Pasuruan Regency, East Java, and analyzed using cognitive, affective, and psychomotor indicators. The findings indicate that a majority of instructors demonstrate strong acceptance of moderation values, including respect for religious diversity, commitment to social justice, and engagement in inclusive dialogue. Factors such as religious education, socio-cultural context, and the utilization of media and technology play significant roles in supporting the internalization process. The perspective of Islamic sociology highlights the instructors' role as agents of change who integrate religious principles with local dynamics, adapting preaching materials to fit local culture and emphasizing social solidarity (asabiyya). This study recommends enhancing instructors' capacities through context-based training, optimizing digital media for disseminating moderate content, and incorporating local values into religious education curricula. Academically, it contributes to the enrichment of Islamic sociology as a transformative framework for addressing extremism, while also serving as a policy reference for strengthening community-based religious moderation programs
JARINGAN SOSIAL UMKM MPOK SINAH KLAMBEN DI KELURAHAN MANGKUBUMEN SURAKARTA
Surakarta is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Indonesia, especially because of its culinary specialities such as gudeg ceker, tengkleng kambing and nasi liwet, which are mostly managed by MSMEs engaged in the culinary field. This study aims to identify the formation of social networks and analyse the embeddedness between Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and consumers in supporting business sustainability in the Mpok Sinah Klamben community, Mangkubumen Village, Surakarta. The purpose of this study is to identify the formation of social networks and analyse the embeddedness between MSME actors and consumers in business continuity. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study, data collected through observation and interviews from eight informants selected by purposive sampling. The results showed that social networks are formed through five main stages: initiation, participation, strengthening between actors, expansion, and institutionalisation. Intensive interaction between MSME actors, relational embeddedness with consumers, and the role of managers as facilitators strengthen business sustainability in the area. This research analyses social networks using Mark Granovetter's theory, especially on aspects of network norms and density, strength of weak ties, structural holes, and embeddedness. The theoretical contribution of this research lies in strengthening the understanding of the importance of social embeddedness in local community-based microeconomic networks. Practically, the findings can serve as a reference for managers and local governments in designing strategies to strengthen community-based MSMEs through social network optimisation
ABDOLKARIM SOROUSH: REKONSILIASI KEBERAGAMAN DAN TRANSFORMASI AJARAN AGAMA
In religious life, there are many differences in characteristics and styles of religious teachings and practices. These differences do not only appear in the context between groups but also between generations. In Islam itself, diversity has existed for a long time until the present. The crucial problem of the many differences is the emergence og claims to absolute truth from each group which often also leads to conflict. To get out of the circle of disputes, this article proposes the views of an Islamic thinker, namely Abdolkarim Soroush, regarding the theory of contraction and expansion. This article includes the results of qualitative research with data sources and documents published from various sources of scientific papers in the from of books and articles and also from other data sources related to this article. The result of this article regarding Soroush’s ideas is that it is necessary to distinguish between religion and religious knowledge in order to achieve effective reconcilation in seeing how one should behave in the presence of many different views, which what we have considered so far is understanding religion, non religion so that there will be potential truth and falsity from each group’s perspective. From this reason, the attitude that needs to be taken is to explore the many different views in order to gain new meanings from religious teachings, not necessarily fight over each other’s claims to the authority of absolute truth
Capacity Building for English Teachers to Improve the Quality of Education in Schools
Improving the quality of education in Indonesia, particularly in English language teaching, is crucial as English is key to addressing the challenges of globalization. In this context, the capacity of English teachers plays a vital role, as they are the primary link between students and the English language skills that open access to global resources. However, English language teaching in Indonesia faces various challenges, including inadequate facilities, competency mismatches among teachers, and limited access to continuous professional development. To address these challenges, this training program aims to enhance the capacity of English teachers by developing their pedagogical skills, deepening their understanding of subject matter, and integrating technology into English instruction. The program includes various activities, such as interactive workshops and online training, designed to introduce innovative teaching methods and improve the use of technology in the teaching and learning process. The expected outcome of these activities is an improvement in the quality of English teaching in Indonesia, which will in turn enhance students' English proficiency and better prepare them to compete at a global level. Additionally, with increased teacher capacity, the program is also expected to strengthen the reputation of schools and expand career opportunities for students in the future

The program's goal was to provide accessible and non-pharmacological interventions for managing hypertension, promoting the adoption of a healthy lifestyle through physical activity. Blood pressure measurements were taken before and after the exercise sessions to assess the changes. The results showed a significant reduction in systolic blood pressure from an average of 150 mmHg to 140 mmHg, and diastolic blood pressure from 95 mmHg to 88 mmHg. Additionally, 50% of participants achieved normal blood pressure after following the exercise program regularly. The majority of participants (83.33%) adhered to the program until completion, showing high commitment and enthusiasm for the initiative. This community service program demonstrates that hypertension exercises are an effective non-pharmacological intervention for reducing blood pressure in the elderly. It highlights the importance of regular physical activity in hypertension management, particularly in underserved areas. The program has shown positive results and can serve as a model for similar initiatives in other regions, contributing to the improvement of elderly health and the reduction of hypertension prevalence
The Integration of Islam and Culture in Islamic Thought
This research explores the integration between Islam and local culture in the Archipelago, focusing on how syncretism and acculturation shaped diverse Islamic cultures in the Malay and Javanese regions. The study highlights the role of Sufism in facilitating the acceptance of Islam by local communities, especially among the early generations of Muslims in the Nusantara. Using a historical approach and literature analysis, this study examines how Islamic values were adapted through dialog with local animist traditions, resulting in a unique and diverse culture. This process involves communication between religious teachings and cultural traditions, which are often inseparable, although they retain their own characteristics. The study also identifies six main stages in the development of Islamic thought in the archipelago, ranging from the formal acceptance of Islam to sharia orthodoxy and the emergence of renewal movements. It highlights important figures in the Nusantara Islamic intellectual tradition such as Nuruddin Ar-Raniri, Mangkunegoro IV, KH. Hasyim Asy'ari, KH. Ahmad Dahlan, and A. Mukti Ali, as well as their contributions in integrating Islam with local culture. The results of this study provide insights into how Islam in the Nusantara was not only adapted but also enriched by local culture, making it a unique and humanist model of integration, which is relevant for religious and cultural studies in the modern era

Wan Abdurachman's Role in Formulating the Basic Principles of the Indonesian State in the Constituent Assembly 1956-1959 AD
This article discusses the role of Wan Abdurachman in formulating the foundation of the Indonesian state in the Constitutional Assembly from 1956 to 1959. The research employs the historical method, which includes four stages: heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The historical sources were obtained from the National Archives, the National Library, and the official website of the MPR RI. The findings of this study reveal that Wan Abdurachman was the most prominent Islamic figure in Lampung, who, since his youth, was active in nationalist movement organizations based on Islam (the Indonesian Sarekat Islam Party), which made it easy for him to connect with HOS Tjokroaminoto, who developed the ideology of Islamic socialism. This ideology was advocated as the foundation of the Indonesian state in the Constitutional Assembly. This is the important contribution of this study: that Tjokroaminoto formulated Islamic socialism during the national movement period, and Wan Abdurachman fought for it to become the foundation of the Indonesian state in the Constitutional Assembly
TINJAUAN HUKUM ISLAM TERHADAP OBJEK HUTANG (MA’QŪD ‘ALAIHI) PADA ARISAN KURBAN
The contract's object (ma'qud alaih) refers to a clearly visible transaction object, such as merchandise or items of little value. In the case of sacrificial animals, the object must meet physical and mental health requirements and be of sufficient age. Arisan involves pooling money or goods of equal value among multiple participants, where a periodic draw determines the recipient until all members have participated. Arisan operates under the legal principle of mubah (permissible) and is valid if it meets requirements without violating Sharia law. In the village's practice of arisan qurban, names are drawn to select the sacrificer, with the number of animals sacrificed based on collected funds and the predetermined price of sacrificial animals. Fluctuations in prices annually influence the quantity purchased, whether it's one cow or two goats, adhering to the initial agreement without additional costs. Given these considerations, the fluctuation in sacrificial animal prices does not entail additional funds beyond the initial agreement, affirming the validity of arisan qurban under Sharia law
