FORMULATION OF PROBLEMS, ALTERNATIVES, AND POLICY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION MANAGEMENT IN THE ERA OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
Digital transformation creates fundamental challenges for Islamic education management that require a strategic and comprehensive policy response. This research aims to identify problems in the management of Islamic education in the context of digital transformation, formulate strategic policy alternatives, and produce implementable policy recommendations. Using a qualitative method with a library research approach, the study analyzed primary sources including scientific journals, reference books, and education policy documents published in the period 2022-2025. The data analysis technique uses content analysis with the stages of source identification, theme categorization, critical interpretation, and conceptual synthesis. The results of the study revealed three main dimensions of problems, namely the limitation of technological infrastructure, the gap in human resource competencies, and the lack of adaptive policies. The research formulates alternative policies in the form of developing digital infrastructure through multi-stakeholder cooperation, human resource capacity building programs, and curriculum redesign integrated with Islamic-digital values. The resulting policy recommendations include the development of an integrated digital ecosystem, the transformation of managerial processes, digital competency acceleration programs, the reformulation of adaptive regulations, and sustainable funding models. The significance of the research lies in its contribution in developing a theoretical model of "Digital Islamic Educational Management" that bridges the epistemological gap between tradition and modernity and provides an implementable framework for the sustainable digital transformation of Islamic educatio

Similarly, the students' learning process also improved and was categorized as "Very Good" with a success rate of 88%. the Talking Stick model assisted by puzzle media in Mathematics can enhance students’ learning outcomes. This was proven by the fact that prior to using the Talking Stick model with puzzle media, the learning mastery rate was only 44% (11 students). In Cycle I, this increased to 72% (18 students) who achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKTP). Therefore, the researcher proceeded to Cycle II, where the mastery level further improved to 92%. The actions implemented in Cycle II showed an increase and exceeded the predetermined mastery standard or success indicators

Islam in Minangkabau from Conflict to Integrity
This article explains how the development of Islam in Minangkabau acculturated with customs, until the emergence of Islamic reformers who had a major influence on the world of education in Minangkabau which previously had a conflict between the tuo and the mudo because of the differences in paradigms between them in understanding and implementing customs and religion. This study aims to determine the process of the entry of Islam and its development until it merged with customs in Minangkabau. This study uses a historical qualitative approach by looking at the social context that occurred in Minangkabau society by looking at library data related to Minangkabau and Islam. The development of Islam in Minangkabau was not as smooth as imagined. Although the Minangkabau people have accepted Islamic teachings as an official religion by looking at the Minangkabau proverb "Adat basandi syarak, syarak basandi kitabullah", there are several customary practices that are not in line with Islamic teachings that give rise to conflict as evidenced by the Paderi War in Minangkabau. In the period after the Padri War, Islamic reformers were born who gave birth to integrity and had a big influence on the Islamic world in Minangkabau, especially in terms of education, which was proven by the birth of many madrasas and made Minangkabau a region that was strong in Islamic teachings, according to sharia
THE DYNAMICS OF REGIONAL EXPANSION AND ITS IMPLICATIONS FOR PUBLIC SERVICES
This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of regional expansion policy as an instrument to improve public services in Indonesia. The background of this research departs from the assumption that regional expansion can shorten the span of government control, accelerate development, and bring services closer to the community, but in practice it does not always produce the expected results. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with literature studies, analysis of legislation, and evaluation of secondary data from the Ministry of Home Affairs and case studies of new autonomous regions (DOB). The results show that regional expansion can have positive impacts such as increased access to basic services and bureaucratic efficiency, especially if supported by adequate fiscal capacity, human resources, and infrastructure. However, there are still many DOBs that experience fiscal dependency, institutional weakness, and low public service performance due to expansion that is triggered more by local political interests than the real needs of the community. Keywords: Regional Expansion, Public Services, Decentralizatio

Disturbances in sleep are common among pregnant women, especially in the third trimester, and can negatively impact the health of both the mother and fetus. Non-pharmacological approaches, such as prenatal yoga, offer a safe and effective way to improve sleep quality. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of prenatal yoga in enhancing sleep quality, blood pressure, and breathing among pregnant women in the third trimester in the Bah Kapul and Simarimbun Health Centre areas, Pematangsiantar City. A quasi-experimental design was employed, with an intervention group (n = 30) and a control group (n = 30). The intervention group participated in prenatal yoga sessions lasting 60 minutes, three times a week, for eight weeks (minimum 12 sessions). Sleep quality and disturbance were measured using a dedicated assessment tool, and data analysis was conducted with SPSS. Results showed that prior to the intervention, most participants in both groups reported poor sleep quality. After the intervention, significant improvements were observed in the intervention group (p < 0.001), including a reduction in severe sleep disturbances from 6.7% to 0%. The median sleep quality score increased by 1 point in the intervention group, compared to no change in the control group (p = 0.010), while the sleep disturbance score decreased by a median of 4 points in the intervention group (p = 0.019). No significant changes were found in blood pressure or breathing (p > 0.05). The study received ethical approval from the Health Research Ethics Committee of Politeknik Kesehatan Kemenkes Medan (Reference No: 01.26.696 /KEPK/POLTEKKES KEMENKES MEDAN 2024), and written informed consent was obtained from all participants.
