Get PDFIndependent Internship Independent campus learning is part of the independent campus program which aims to provide opportunities for students to learn and develop themselves through activities outside of the lecture class. During the internship, students apply direct learning in the workplace with hard skills which can be started from skills in the field of work, problem solving, and analysis of problems in the world of work, as well as soft skills such as ethics in the world of work, organization and management, as well as collaboration between teams in the world Work. The conclusion of the Merdeka Learning internship at the Merdeka Campus is that students are able to improve their soft skills and hard skills and gain new experiences that can later be applied in the world of work. The author did an MBKM internship at the Subang Regency PUPR Service and was placed in a supervisory position in the bridge sector. Based on the results of observations in the field, the stages of implementation of the drainage project development are quite in accordance with the theoretical standards for implementing drainage development, it's just that it may not be too complex due to adjustments to conditions in the field
PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SCRAMBLE DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI KEPEMIMPINAN DI SEKITARKU: (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Terhadap Siswa Kelas VI SD Negeri Wanareja Semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023)
Get PDFKenyataan di dalam kelas, hasil belajar siswa kelas VI ternyata jauh dari yang diharapkan. Dari hasil ulangan materi Kepemimpinan Disekitarku yang sudah dipelajari sebelumnya, ternyata hanya 6 siswa (31,58%) dari 19 siswa yang dinyatakan lulus, dan sisanya sekitar 13 siswa (68,42%) dinyatakan belum lulus, karena siswa belum memahami pentingnya kepemimpinan dalam mengambil keputusan untuk kepentingan bersama. Rumusan permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar siswa kelas VI dalam materi kepemimpinan di sekitarku masih rendah. Dengan demikian : “Bagaimanakah penerapan model pembelajaran Scramble dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Wanareja semester genap tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 dalam materi kepemimpinan di sekitarku?”. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam materi kepemimpinan di sekitarku melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Scramble di kelas VI SD Negeri Wanareja semester genap tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dapat dilakukan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Scramble. Hal ini terbukti dengan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dari siklus 1 ke siklus 2. Hasil post test siklus 1 mencapai rata-rata sebesar 70,50 pada kategori cukup dengan prosentase kelulusan 57,89% dan pada siklus 2 meningkat menjadi 81,75 pada kategori baik dengan tingkat prosentase kelulusan 89,47%. Jadi prestasi belajar mengalami peningkatan sebesar 11,25

Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Hak dan Kewajiban melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Tipe TPS (Think Pairs Shere) di kelas IV SPF SD Negeri Ekanugrha semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Model PTK yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Stephen Kemmis dan Robin Mc. Taggart. Penelitian ini menggunakan prosedur penelitian tindakan kelas dalam dua siklus dengan 3 kali pertemuan dalam setiap siklusnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain PTK yang dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap, yaitu tahap siklus I dan tahap siklus II dengan target nilai rata-rata kelas atau ketuntasan minimal, yaitu 70. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SPF SD Negeri Ekanugrha sebanyak 19 siswa yang terdiri dari 12 siswa laki-laki dan 7 siswa perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Hak dan Kewajiban dapat dilakukan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Tipe TPS (Think Pairs Shere) di kelas IV SPF SD Negeri Ekanugrha. Hal ini terbukti dengan adanya peningkatan hasil tes siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II. Hasil rata-rata tes siklus I mencapai 68,75 dengan ketuntasan 53% dan pada siklus II hasil rata-rata tes meningkat menjadi 84 dengan ketuntasan 89%

EFL Teacher’s Understanding on the Implementation of Project-Based learning
Get PDFThe Merdeka Curriculum, the latest curriculum in Indonesia, adopts student-centered learning in the classroom context. Specifically, one of teaching approaches promoted in this curriculum is Project-Based Learning (PBL). However, discussions regarding the extent to which teachers understand PBL have not been much studied. Therefore, this research aims to investigate the teachers' understanding on the PBL implementation. To achieve this aim, qualitative in the form of case study design was employed, conducted in one of junior high schools in West Java, involving an English teacher as a research participant. The data in this study were obtained from semi-structured interviews completed by observation and documentation. These results confirmed that the teacher already understood the general notion, goals, and stages in implementing PBL; however, there was still a problem striming specifically in time management in which the teacher had difficulties in determining the time to implement PBL and P5 (Project penguatan profile pelajar Pancasila) in the same time.
 
Portraying Systemic Functional Linguistics Genre-based Approach in Kurikulum Merdeka in EFL Senior High School
Get PDFDue to the change of the curriculum in Indonesia into Kurikulum Merdeka, the government still recommends the Genre Based Approach (GBA) in teaching English. Nevertheless, the study centering on how this approach was implemented in the latest curriculum is still very few. Hence, this study aims to portray the implementation of SFL-GBA in Kurikulum Merdeka in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classroom. A qualitative case study research design was employed. This study was conducted in a public senior high school in West Java, involving one purposive English teacher as the research participant. In collecting the data, classroom observation and interviews were used and analyzed using inductive analysis. The results indicate that almost all stages of SFL-GBA stages were implemented by the teacher. Specifically, at the final stage (Independent Construction of the Text), the teacher missed the important activity; that is, giving corrective feedback. Therefore, it is expected to teachers in having more effective classroom management to employ the complete stages of SFL-GBA approach

Get PDFPrestasi belajar siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri Mekarlaksana dalam materi Sumber Energi ternyata jauh dari yang diharapkan. Dari hasil ulangan harian pada materi tersebut masih rendah, ternyata hanya 6 siswa (28,57%) dari 21 siswa yang dinyatakan lulus, dan 15 siswa lainnya (71,43%) dinyatakan belum lulus KKM sekolah sebesar 70, karena siswa belum bisa memahami peranannya dalam organisasi. Rumusan permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah kemampuan siswa Kelas IV dalam memahami materi Sumber Energi masih rendah. Dengan demikian : “Bagaimanakah penerapan model pembelajaran Problem- Base Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri Mekarlaksana semester Ganjil tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 dalam memahami materi Sumber Energi?”. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri Mekarlaksana semester Ganjil tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 dalam memahami materi Sumber Energi melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem- Base Learning (PBL). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami materi Sumber Energi dapat dilakukan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Problem- Base Learning (PBL). Hal ini terbukti dengan adanya peningkatan hasil post test siswa dari siklus 1 ke siklus 2. Hasil post test siswa pada siklus 1 mencapai nilai rata-rata sebesar 69,00 pada kategori cukup dengan prosentase kelulusan 52,52% dan pada siklus 2 meningkat menjadi 83,33 pada kategori baik dengan tingkat prosentase kelulusan 90,48%. Jadi nilai post test siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 14,3
Teacher Challenges in Assessing Students Speaking Ability during Online Learning System
Get PDFThe topic of online assessment has attracted the attention of many educators and researchers. However, the explanations on what the teacher face during the online assessment particularly when productive skills are in focus. The present study aims to find out the challenges faced by the teachers in assessing students speaking ability during online learning system. To serve theaim, the research utilized the qualitative data which were collected from semi-structured interviews done with three teachers in one of the universities in Garut city. The findings showed that the teachers have the same experience. The teachers expressed that the technical problems remain the biggest hurdle that the teachers faced when assessing students speaking abilityduring online. The teacher strategy and creativity are also key factors in successfully assessing students speaking ability during online. This study concludes that the involvement of the technology in the assessment requires careful preparations and sufficient technological knowledge
MENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR BAHASA INGGRIS MATERI TEKS INFORMATION REPORT : (Melalui Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw pada Siswa Kelas IX-A MTs Negeri 2 Subang Semester Genap Tahun pelajaran 2018/2019)
Get PDFTujuan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar bahasa Inggris materi teks Information Report melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dan mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar bahasa Inggris materi teks Information Report melalui penerapan model pembelajarankooperatif tipe Jigsaw pada siswa Kelas IX-A MTs Negeri 2 Subang Semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dan pada masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 2 kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah siswa Kelas XI-A MTs Negeri 2 Subang Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019 sebanyak 35 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan lembar observasi, teknik tes dan dokumentasi. Validasi data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi data. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw terbukti dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dimana pada kondisi awal hanya ada 12 siswa atau 34,29% meningkat menjadi 22 siswa atau 62,86% dan 32 siswa atau 91,43% pada siklus terakhir. Penjelasan peningkatan hasil belajar juga meningkat pada setiap siklusnya dari 62,57 menjadi 76,29 dan 87,43 pada siklus kedua. Hal tersebut juga dibuktikan dengan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal dimana pada kondisi awal hanya terdapat 8 siswa atau 22,86% meningkat menjadi 65,71% atau 23 siswa dan 33 siswa atau 94,29% pada siklus kedua. Dari penjelasan di atas maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa Kelas IX-A MTs Negeri 2 Subang Semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Penulis merekomendasikan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran model pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw dapat berjalan dengan baik, dengan upaya siswa mempersiapkan diri dengan baik sebelum kegiatan pembelajaran, siswa lebih aktif dalam belajar berkelompok, dan Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator yang baik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, dan menerapkan strategi, metode atau model pembelajaran didukung sarana dan prasarana dalam penyediaan alat dan media pembelajaran.  
THE USE OF THE DUOLINGO PLATFORM IN DEVELOPING SEVENTH GRADE'S VOCABULARY MASTERY
Get PDFThe motivating basis of this study was the fact that many students struggle to learn vocabulary. The study seeks to investigate the effect of the Duolingo platform on Junior High School students' vocabulary mastery. To this end, the study carried out a quasi-experimental investigation in which fifty students were assigned to the experimental and control group 25, respectively. The students in both groups were given pre-test and post-test before and after the instruction. The data were calculated statistically assisted by SPSS 24. The finding showed that Duolingo positively contributed to developing the students' vocabulary. The possibleexplanation for this contribution is probably due to the relevance of the applications towards the nature of the students to require more visual material. This study concludes that the involvement of technology helps in vocabulary learning
