Consideration of the editing and direction of Soichiro Tahara's video content that went viral on TikTok
Full text link研究ノートResearch Note本論文では、TikTok で 440 万回再生数(2024 年 8 月時点)と拡散された田原総一朗の朝食動画コンテンツの編集演出について分析し、その特徴と効果を考察する。特に、カメラワーク、カット割り、効果音の同期方法、構成に焦点を当て、視聴者の関心を引きつけるための技術的手法を検討する。また、視聴者からのコメントとその内容の傾向分析、最も動画が視聴されやすい時間帯についても考察する。In this paper, we analyze the editorial direction of Soichiro Tahara's breakfast video content, which has been viewed 4.4 million times (as of August 2024) on TikTok, and consider its characteristics and effects. In particular, we will focus on camera work, cuts, sound effect synchronization methods, and composition, and examine technical methods to attract the viewer's attention. Examining the Reality of Reporting Based on Speculation : A Case Study of the Illegal Gambling Incident Reported by a National Newspaper by a Former Interpreter for Shohei Otani of the Dodgers in the Major League Baseball
Full text link論文Article米大リーグ、ロサンゼルス・ドジャースの大谷翔平選手の元通訳、水原一平氏が、違法なスポーツ賭博で多額の借金を背負い、穴埋めとして大谷選手の銀行口座から無断で多額の現金を引き出したとし、米国の検察当局は米国時間の2024年4月11日、元通訳を銀行詐欺容疑で訴追した。元通訳は発覚した際、米メディアに「大谷選手が借金を肩代わりしてくれた」などと告白し、その後に発言を翻した。大谷選手側も、関与を全面的に否定した。実際、連邦地検も、大谷選手は無断で現金を引き出された被害者であり、関与していたことを示す証拠はないとした。
しかし、日本や海外のメディアは当初、大谷選手の承諾なしに銀行口座から多額の現金を引き出せるのかなどの疑問点を挙げた。さらに、「大谷選手が違法賭博の借金とわかった上で肩代わりした場合」などの仮説や憶測に基づき、大谷選手に影響が生じる可能性を指摘する記事がいくつも確認できた。本研究では、日本国内で全国紙と呼ばれる新聞社がこの問題についてどう扱ったのかを検証した。
事件が日本で報じられた日本時間24年3月21日から、元通訳が連邦地裁に出廷して、罪を認めた同年６月５日までに、朝日新聞、読売新聞、日本経済新聞を対象に、掲載記事を検証した。結果、大谷選手が、元通訳の当初の説明通りに違法賭博と知った上で関与したという仮説や憶測を前提とした記事が5件確認された。ほかに疑念を連想させるような記事が16件あった。取材メモにとどめるべき内容を報じたメディアの対応に問題点を示唆できたものと考える。Ippei Mizuhara, a former interpreter for Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers of the US Major League Baseball, has racked up a large amount of debt through illegal sports betting, and prosecutors allege that he withdrew a large amount of cash from the player's bank account without permission to make up for it. Authorities charged the former interpreter with bank fraud on April 11, 2024 (US time). When the former interpreter was found out, he confessed to the US media, saying, ``Otani took over my debt,'' but later changed his statement. Otani's side also completely denied any involvement. In fact, the federal district attorney's office also ruled that Otani was the victim of cash withdrawal without his permission, and that there was no evidence to show that he was involved.
However, Japanese and international media initially raised questions such as whether it would be possible to withdraw large sums of cash from Otani's bank account without his consent. Furthermore, we found a number of articles that point out the possibility of repercussions for Otani based on hypotheses and speculation, such as ``what if Otani took over the debt after knowing that it was illegal gambling debt.'' In this study, we examined how national newspapers dealt with this issue.
The Asahi Shimbun, Yomiuri Shimbun, and Nihon Keizai Shimbun newspapers were targeted from March 21, 2017, when the incident was reported in Japan, to June 5, 2017, when the former interpreter appeared in federal district court and pleaded guilty. The published article was verified. As a result, six articles were identified based on the hypothesis or speculation that Otani was knowingly involved in illegal gambling, as originally explained by his former interpreter. There were 2 comments from experts, 3 quotes from foreign media reports, 1 column from a reporter, and 18 other articles that seemed to suggest suspicion. We believe that we were able to point to a problem with the media's handling of the matter, which should have been kept in the interview memo.departmental bulletin pape
How to Improve Negative Attitude Towards Learning English Through Media
Full text link論文Article本研究では、本学1年生を対象に、英語学習に対する態度の調査と授業の成果を報告します。2023年度に実施したGoogleフォームを用いた調査では、125名の参加者のうち70％が英語を嫌いと回答しました。この問題に対処するために、Arnold（2013）が提唱する「理想の自己」をポジティブな強化を通じて達成するアプローチと、Dörnyei（2009）の学生の態度を向上させる方法を採用しました。方法としては、従来の教科書学習に加え、YouTube動画などのマルチメディアツール、パフォーマンス評価、そしてスポーツ語彙に特化した特定目的英語（ESP）カリキュラムを組み合わせた多面的なアプローチを取り入れました。特に学生のスポーツへの興味に焦点を当ててESPカリキュラムを実行し、その効果を評価しました。さらに、学期を通じた定期的な評価とフィードバックを取り入れることで、学生の学習プロセスの向上を確認しました。研究結果から、これらの統合的なアプローチにより、学生の英語学習に対する態度やモチベーションが大幅に向上することが示唆されました。さらに、本研究はパフォーマンス評価やマルチメディアツールが動機付けの課題を解決する可能性を示し、学生の言語学習への参加を促進する枠組みを提供しています。In this paper, we present the outcomes of a survey and intervention among Japanese first-year university students, focusing on their attitudes towards English learning. A 2023 survey conducted using Google Forms revealed that a substantial 70% of the 125 participants expressed a dislike for English. To address this issue, the study employed Arnold's (2013) approach of achieving the 'ideal self' through positive reinforcement and Dörnyei's (2009) tactics for enhancing student attitudes. The interventions involved a multimodal approach, combining traditional textbook learning with multimedia tools such as YouTube videos, performance-based assessments, and a tailored English for Specific Purposes (ESP) curriculum focused on sports vocabulary. The effectiveness of these methods in altering students' negative perceptions of English was assessed, with a particular focus on their athletic inclinations, which guided the ESP curriculum design. The study's findings suggest that these combined approaches significantly improved students' attitudes and motivation towards English learning. Moreover, the study highlights the potential of performance-based tasks and multimedia tools to address motivational challenges, providing an adaptable framework that can be implemented across various academic disciplines to foster student engagement in language learning.departmental bulletin pape
Proposal of Automatic Lyric Writing Software Based on the Frequency of Use of Words for Each Part of Speech
Full text link論文Article歌詞に特化した新しい自動文章作成ソフトを提案する。
文章作成については、これまでに様々な試みがなされてきた。特に近年ではBERT 等のAI モデルの発展やChatGPT の普及にともない、簡単に文書作成が行えるようになった。本研究は、文書作成を歌詞の作成に特化して、歌詞に含まれる各単語の品詞別にランダムにフレーズを選んでいくという手法によって、従来とは異なる自動作詞ソフトの開発を行った。このソフトではAI 学習は行っていないが、代表的な自然言語処理モデルBERT を用いた文章のベクトル化による類似度の計算やmlm を用いた校正等を含む。
これまでの文章作成ソフトとの違いは、文章作成用の元になる辞書的なデータとは別にこれから作成したい歌詞のモデルとなる歌詞をもう１つ入力する点、それを基に品詞別に単語を選んでいくという点であり、それによって歌詞特有のパターンを表現することができる。
本稿は、この歌詞作成ソフトの概要と自動作詞例について紹介することを目的とする。We propose a new automatic sentence creation software specialized in lyrics.
Various attempts have been made to create texts. Especially in recent years, with the development of AI models such as BERT and the spread of ChatGPT, it has become possible to easily create documents. In this research, we specialized in the creation of lyrics and developed automatic lyric writing software that was different from conventional by randomly selecting phrases for each part of speech included in the lyrics. This software does not perform AI learning, but includes calculation of similarity by vectorization of sentences using the representative natural language processing model BERT and proofreading using mlm. Full text link論文Article公会計補完の経済学は、公債の中立命題と世代会計とのあいだに存在する。量的緩和政策は、政府と中央銀行の負債を背景とするが、日本においても広義の公的部門は、直ちに労働市場改革のために財源を確保しなければならない。急速な人口減少、社会の分断、テロ対策に伴う財政収支の悪化は、対GDP 比での公的債務を拡大している。民間部門の純資産とは、公会計の基盤を支えている。しかしながら、中立命題の理論的な前提と将来世代にたいする現実には距離があるため、民間部門を増強するさい公債発行に頼るべきではない。
小さな企業にとって元利返済に追われる操業とならないように、東京証券取引所に開設されている裁量的な新規株式公開市場である指定アドバイザー制度を充分に活用する必要がある。またその機能を円滑にするため、金融商品取引法第２条第31 項に基づく特定投資家のあいだで流通する市場関係者地域通貨を、本研究は提案する。公債市場補完制度が存在しているのであり、それは人材によって財政が支えられるように長期的雇用契約を促進する。
民間部門が主導する市場関係者地域通貨を公的部門が認め、民間部門の純資産を高めるように財政を展開する。This research proposes that there is Public Accounting Complementary Economics between Generational Accounting and Neutrality Hypothesis of Fiscal Policy. Although Quantitative Easing;QE is the reason of liabilities both government and central bank, public sector in a broad sense must secure financial resources for labor market reform right away in Japan. The deterioration of fiscal balance by rapid population decline, social division, counterterrorism enhances the debt to GDP ratio.
The Net Assets Amount in private sector produces the strong support for public accounting, however public sector shold not depend on Neutrality Hypothesis of Fiscal Policy because there is quite a distance between the premise of the theory and reality for future generation.
So that small firms are not overwhelmed with principal and interest repayments, it is necessary for them to make full use of NOMAD System which means discretionary initial public offerings in Tokyo Stock Exchange, and for the sake of smooth facilitation, this reseach proposes Shijohkankeisha Exchange Trading System; SETS used by specified investor based on Paragraph 31, Article 2, Financial Instruments and Exchange Act.
