Treating thin endometrium by Ayurvedic Medications: A Case Study
Infertility is one of the most prevalent chronic health disorders involving young adults. Infertility is defined as failure to establish a clinical pregnancy after 12 months of regular and unprotected sexual intercourse. Endometrium is one of the important factors for successful pregnancy. Endometrial thickness is a marker for endometrial receptivity and a prognostic factor for pregnancy. A thin endometrium is generally defined as endometrial thickness less than 7 mm. Thin endometrium adversely affect reproductive performance. A thin endometrium is generally defined as endometrial thickness less than 7 mm. This is a case report of a female patient with thin endometrium with a complaint of inability to conceive for 2 years of regular unprotected intercourse. The menstrual blood is the shedded functional layer of endometrium of the uterus. In Ayurveda, the term rajah is used for menstrual blood. So, this case is considered as Rajah-Kshay and is treated accordingly. The treatment plan includes Rasa & Rakta Pachak (Blood Purifiers) medications and Uttarbasti (Vaginal administration of liquid medicine) of Phalaghrita to increase Dharan kshamata (implantation) of endometrium. During the treatment period this patient’s endometrial thickness increased from 6.1 mm to 9 mm and menstrual flow increased. This led to her conception within 5 months of treatment and she delivered a healthy baby boy.
Standardization and quality control parameters evaluation on the Siddha mineral preparation: Linga chenduram
Standardization of herbal or herbo-mineral formulations is an important factor to assess the quality, purity, safety and efficacy of drugs. WHO has emphasized the need to ensure quality control of Indian Medicines including Siddha formulations by using modern techniques and by applying suitable parameters for Standardization of Linga Chenduram where Lingam (Cinnabar) is the primary constituent was selected for evaluation of Standardization and quality control parameters. Analysis of the drug showed that LC was dark brown in colour, odourless, tasteless, fine powder in appearance and fine to touch which indicates the completion of calcination process. In physicochemical analysis values of the drug such as loss on drying, total ash, water-soluble ash and acid insoluble ash were found to be 1.19%. 3.73%, 0.19% and 1.49% respectively. The total ash value indicated the absence of impure substances in LC. The XRD Analysis of Linga Chenduram showed that it was a highly crystalline drug. SEM analysis of Linga Chenduram showed that most of the particles present in the sample were Nano size and the results showed that the values of Mercury (51.21) and Carbon (43.63) were present in larger amount compared to Oxygen and Magnesium. The ICP-OES result showed that the toxic heavy metals such as Lead, Cadmium, Cupper, Potassium, Magnesium, Iron, Zinc, Nickel and Sodium were below the detection limit (BDL). Thus it is evident that the safety of siddha medicine had been proved in the modern scientific way. The end of the study concluded that the end product Linga Chenduram yields standard and safety.

Revisiting the Emerging Pharmacological Perspectives of Nyctanthes arbor-tristis
A mythical plant indigenous to the southern Asian area known as Nyctanthes arbor-tristis (Oleaceae) is highly valued for its therapeutic properties in Ayurveda. The plant contains a number of Phytoconstituents, and almost every part of the plant has pharmacological properties. In order to identify therapeutic potential and gaps requiring more study, the current review includes an ethnopharmacological evaluation that focuses on data on the chemical components, pharmacological activities, and toxicity. In India most significant use of N. arbor-tristis for the treatment of intractable sciatica, arthritis, and intermittent fevers. The plant\u27s crude extracts and isolated components have pharmacological activity against inflammation, malaria, viral infection, leishmaniasis, and as an immunostimulant. Iridoid glucosides, including Arbortristoside A, B, and C from the seeds, are a prominent family of physiologically active substances that have anticancer, anti-leishmania, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, immunomodulatory, and antiviral properties. It has been stated that the leaves\u27 calceolarioside A, 4-hydroxyhexahydrobenzofuran-7one, and β-sitosterol are each effective against leishmaniasis, cancer, and inflammation, respectively. While arbortristoside-A isolated from the seeds had an LD50 of 0.5 g/kg, the crude extracts were determined to be safe with an LD50 of 16 gm/kg.The majority of the time, in-vitro or occasionally in-vivo models offer some evidence, particularly when it comes to the treatment of inflammatory illnesses like arthritis, fevers associated with malaria, and protozoan infections, particularly leishmaniasis. The sole clinical trial discovered only used crude extract to treat malaria. For crude extracts or pure chemicals, more thorough safety data must also be collected on cardiotoxicity, immunotoxicity and acute and subacute toxicity.

The most critical subjective factor is understanding the role and responsibilities of being a nurse (81.5%).
Conclusion: According to the results, nursing students\u27 excitement in Vietnam about their major was average and tended to decrease gradually over the school years. Job opportunities and a strong understanding of the role and responsibilities of a nurse are essential factors related to students\u27 excitement about the major
Management of Herpes zoster in Ayurveda through Bloodletting therapy along with other Ayurveda treatment: A case study
Herpes zoster is a very painful disease. Generally, it is a unilateral and self-limiting condition. Inappropriate or delayed therapy might make the disease worse and increase the risk of complications such as post-herpetic neuralgia. Age-related immunosuppression and low immunity make people more susceptible to herpes infection and more likely to develop post-herpetic neuralgia (15%). According to Ayurveda, it correlates with visarpa. It is a raktapradoshaj vikara (disease caused by vitiated blood) and primarily a pitta-predominant disease manifesting twaka (skin) so visarpa is one of the major skin diseases. Here we present a case of a 66-year-old female patient with k/c/o HTN and hypothyroidism visited the OPD with symptoms of unilateral onset of blisters on the right side of the back region, the right axillary region, and the medial aspect of the right arm, within 48 hours; along with burning Pain, itching, and sleeplessness due to burning. According to Ayurveda, the patient was clinically diagnosed with pittaj visarpa. Considering pitta dosha and rakta dhatu dusti, raktmokshan was planned as the prime treatment. The patient showed improvement in burning pain after the first setting of raktamokshan. The numeric rating scale revealed that the patient experienced relief in the severity of burning pain (from 8 to 0) and itching (from 5 to 0). Other Ayurveda treatments like pittaghna chikitsa (pitta pacifying) and pradeha (local application) were used. Rapid blister formation stopped within three days of treatment, and after 28 days, all blisters crusted off and a normal skin complexion was achieved. Thus, Ayurvedic treatment was valuable and cost-effective for treating conditions like herpes. Ayurveda protects patient’s immune systems and reduces the chances of post herpetic neuralgia and reinfection
