Get PDFAkademinė visuomenė jau yra įpratusi kiekvienais metais sulaukti kelių Lietuvoje publikuotų leidinių muzikinėmis temomis. Jų autoriai – ne tik muzikologai, bet ir pedagogai bei atlikėjai. Tačiau tokios gausos knygų, kurios išvydo dienos šviesą 2015 m., mažai kas tikėjosi. EFFORTS OF INCLUSIVE PRACTICES FOR PARENTS IN CHILDREN DAY CARE CENTERS: WHEN CHILD FAILS TO ATTEND THE SCHOOL
Get PDFIn this article the efforts of social workers to promote inclusive practices in children day care centres is analysed. Changes in education based on life-long learning culture require active and conscious participation of parents in child’s education process. However, this participation becomes overburden if family is socially excluded because of the deviant lifestyle or poverty. Indeed, practical observations together with results of the studies reveal that the collaboration between social professions, which aim to implement child welfare and parents is insufficient. In order to help these families children day care centres were established. The aim of the article is to reveal how social workers construct professional help with parents on the purpose to help overcoming child’s issues at school. The study is based on hermeneutical methodology. During Soviet period development of child’s skills belonged to the educational institutions outside the family. Research participants still struggles for the ownership of these developments, pushing neglectful parents aside. The research revealed that within transformation process social workers adapts the forms of professional posture, however, the content of their performance is inherited from the past experiences and historical development.KEY WORDS: childhood, empowerment, social work, parents, education.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.15181/tbb.v76i1.151

Passing on Instrumental Music Traditions in Family (based on Information collected in Folklore Expeditions to Hutsul region, West Ukraine)

Get PDFPopular tales, which are known for the most part of contemporary society at present times are revived again: tales are retold using nowadays realia or are created parodies of the tales. In such way they become actual, interesting and attractive even for young people. In our paper we present the results of our research about new tales, discuss which tales are retold, which ways are used for creation of parodies and present the parodies of one tale – ‘Red Riding Hood’. Perhaps new tales do not represent ideal world, but they can teach us how to behave or not behave in various situations or just try to look at our lifestyle and contemporary values with humour.Key words: folklore, tales, transformations of tales, parody, Red Riding Hood

It discusses the problems of creation of this source, authorship, the historical context. It is analysed ethnographic content in glossary of Lithuanian fishing terms. The Baltic linguists haven’t noticed it earlier. New publication of this source could encourage scientists to broader analyze of 1792 fishing rules.
