Песенная культура Северного Подляшья как маргинальной украинской этнической территории
Ukrainian ethnomusicologist Larysa Lukashenko (Лариса Лука-шенко) deals with traditional folk songs peculiarities from native Ukrainian people, living in marginal Northern Pidlyashshya (Ukr. – Пiдляшшя; Rus. – Подляшье; Pol. – Podlasze) ethnic region, Poland, in presented here article. Typical folk songs genres, melodic types are reflected here together with real mapping panorama of ritual folk songs from those localities. Специфика учебного процесса на Кафедре этнологии Львовского университета в 1924–1939 годах
The article by Ukrainian ethnologist Roman Tarnavskyi (Роман Богданович Тарнавський) deals with the history of educational process at Department of Ethnology, Lviv University during the interwar period (1924–1939). Teachers of this Department focused on studying Slavic ethnology by means of field ethnography and comparative historical method. Preface
The 11th volume of annual edition “Tradicija ir dabartis / Tradition & Contemporarity” is the continuity of the initiative from historical Department of Folk Music, Faculty of Arts (later on – a part of Department of Instrumental Music, and a part of Department of Music at present, Academy of Arts) at Klaipėda University, Lithuania. The idea to edit such periodical science journal was born there in 1994, when the 1st volume was published. And now the name of the actual Department became as history because of continuing structural reforms at whole Klaipėda University. We have got just Program of Folk Music later on as the part of Department of Instrumental Music, and as the part of Department of Music at present. And the articles by the authors from this Department, Faculty and their colleagues from other Klaipėda University Faculties together with scientific people from Kaunas (Vytautas Magnus University) presented their materials for the volume. Outstanding scientists from numerous scientific institutions in Ukraine (Dnipro, Kyiv, Lutsk, Lviv, and Vinnytsia) became as our authors as well.This volume continues publishing of scientific articles, based on various aspects of tradition and contemporarity in ethnomusicology, ethnology, cultural anthropology, other culture history studies from historical Klaipėda region, whole Lithuania, and other foreign states and countries, mainly Ukrainian Polissia region. The article by Ukrainian ethnologist Juliya Krykun (Юлія Сергіївна Крикун) reflects the influence of the features of life and work of Orthodox priests in the family and family relationships of rural community; their role in the implementation of the rituals associated with the birth of a child, weddings, funerals; legal registration of documents relating to various aspects of everyday life. Turizmo plėtra Rusijos Federacijos Kaliningrado srityje XXI amžiuje
The article discusses XXI c. trends of tourism development in the Kaliningrad Region, Russian Federation. The main focus is on the analysis of regional tourism development program documents and basic projects of tourism sector. PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION OF THE DEVELOPMENT AREAS IN UKRAINE
This study aims at presenting complex information on the specifics of regional development and its management system, as well as the experience of forming and implementing the state regional policy in Ukraine. The information in the article is presented in the context of generally accepted notions and concepts of regional development and regional policy, along with the European experience and global trends, but first of all it is based on the realities of regions and rural areas in Ukraine and on its governance model. CORRUPTION PROBLEM IN SLOVAKIA: THE MEDIA SPHERE
The paper presents the corruption issue by highlighting the actual situation of corruption in the Slovak society. This problem has a historical background when after 1993 the Slovak Republic was separated from the Czech Republic. The author offers theoretical attitudes which are necessary to apply in practice for to improve situation in Slovakia. Theoretical information was gained from relevant sources. The author tries to apply official results from Transparency International and other institutes. The media has great effect on public opinion and therefore investigative journalism should be developed which could uncover media property and corruption in the whole society. Journalism should be independent of politicians. It should be objective, full of truthful information with verifiable sources. In the last part of the paper some solutions are suggested which should be applied in practise as they can help to address corruption solutions. In other words, necessary measures may support the healthy environment with social welfare and spur development of the society. KEYWORDS: corruption, media, the Slovak Republic
