Acciones educativas para la formación ambiental comunitaria desde la extensión universitaria (Original)
No full textCommunity environmental education is a process that requires the conscious and active participation of its inhabitants and local actors in the search for solutions to environmental problems; this requires new methodologies and tools from the university extension that have an impact on achieving greater involvement and autonomy. The research was carried out in the community of Pedro Pompa, municipality of Bayamo with the objective to design educational actions for environmental training in the community as a contribution to sustainable development from the university extension. Theoretical, empirical and mathematical-statistical methods were applied, based on participatory action-research methodology, established on the need for the articulation of the inhabitants and local actors who have involvement in the community. As main results, the acquisition and exchange of knowledge, the awareness of participants regarding the care and conservation of the environment, positive transformation in the modes of action of the community and the integration of community actors to solve the problems presented.La educación ambiental comunitaria es un proceso que demanda de una participación consciente y activa de los habitantes y actores locales en la búsqueda de soluciones a los problemas ambientales; para ello se requiere de nuevas metodologías y herramientas desde la extensión universitaria que incida en el logro de una mayor implicación y autonomía. La investigación se realizó en la comunidad Pedro Pompa, municipio Bayamo y tuvo como objetivo diseñar acciones educativas para la formación ambiental en la comunidad como contribución al desarrollo sostenible desde la extensión universitaria. Se aplicaron métodos teóricos, empíricos y matemáticos-estadísticos, sobre la base de la metodología investigación-acción participativa, a partir de la necesidad de la articulación de los habitantes y actores locales que poseen implicación en la comunidad. Como principales resultados se tienen la obtención e intercambio de conocimientos, la concientización de los participantes en cuanto al cuidado y conservación del medio ambiente, la trasformación positiva en los modos de actuación de los comunitarios y la integración de los actores de la comunidad para resolver las problemáticas presentadas
Morphological response in Morus alba genotypes under saline stress induced with Sodium Chloride (Original)
No full textEl cultivo de la morera tiene gran importancia en Cuba para la alimentación animal, sin embargo, diversos factores afectan la producción de biomasa en este cultivo, y no todas las variedades responden de la misma forma a las condiciones de estrés por salinidad. Por ello, el artículo tiene como objetivo, evaluar la respuesta morfológica de cuatro genotipos de morera sometidos a condiciones de estrés salino inducido con cloruro de sodio. Se evaluó el porcentaje de estacas con brotes y/o raíces; número de brotes por estacas y la longitud de la raíz, en propágulos procedentes de campo de las variedades Acorazonada, Criolla, Yu-62 y Doña Betty, colocados en frascos con agua con diferentes valores de conductividad eléctrica 0,5; 1,0; 2,0; 4,0 y 6,0 dS.m-1, durante 30 días de cultivo. Los resultados mostraron que el incremento de las concentraciones de cloruro de sodio, afectó la respuesta morfológica de las plantas en los cuatro genotipos evaluados, donde la variedad Doña Betty mostró la mayor susceptibilidad a este factor durante la brotación de estacas. Como conclusión, el estrés salino afectó la respuesta morfológica de los genotipos estudiados, donde las variedades Acorazonada y Criolla, tuvieron la mayor tolerancia hasta 2,0 dS.m-1 de cloruro de sodio.The cultivation of mulberry is of great importance in Cuba for animal feed, however, various factors affect the production of biomass in this crop, and not all varieties respond in the same way to salinity stress conditions. Therefore, this work aimed to evaluate the morphological response of four mulberry genotypes subjected to salt stress conditions induced with sodium chloride. The percentage of cuttings with shoots and/or roots was evaluated; number of shoots per cuttings; and the length of the root, in propagules from the field of the varieties Acorazonada, Criolla, Yu-62 and Doña Betty placed in jars with water with different values of electrical conductivity 0.5; 1.0; 2.0; 4.0 and 6.0 dS.m-1, for 30 days of culture. The results showed that the increase in Sodium Chloride concentrations affected the morphological response of the plants in the four genotypes evaluated; where the Doña Betty variety showed the greatest susceptibility to this factor during cutting sprouting. In conclusion, salt stress affected the morphological response of the genotypes studied, where the Acorazonada and Criolla varieties had the highest tolerance up to 2.0 dS.m-1 of sodium chloride
Order Caballero de la Luz in eastern cuban: Granma, Holguín and Guantánamo (Review)
No full textLas investigaciones históricas sobre las asociaciones fraternales constituyen un reto historiográfico para el sector académico cubano. El abordaje de esa línea temática requiere tanto de análisis desde perspectivas nacionales, como regionales y locales. Aunque existen estudios sobre la Orden Caballero de la Luz en Santiago de Cuba y Las Tunas, se realizan desde una perspectiva local, por lo que el abordaje de los restantes territorios orientales: granmense, holguinero y guantanamero, ofrece un estudio más integral sobre la asociación en el oriente cubano. Consecuentemente, el objetivo del artículo reside en develar la contribución de la Orden Caballero de la Luz a la sociedad del oriente cubano, con énfasis en las provincias Granma, Holguín y Guantánamo. La investigación se basó, fundamentalmente, en el análisis de documentos y contribuyó a develar, desde una perspectiva regional, aristas significativas del accionar social de la Orden Caballero de la Luz dirigido al enriquecimiento del patrimonio edificado, el accionar cívico, la recepción martiana y la labor sociocultural; así como el apoyo ofrecido al gobierno revolucionario.Historical research on fraternal associations constitute a historiographical challenge for the Cuban academy. The study of this thematic line requires analysis from national, regional and local perspectives. Although there are studies on the Order Caballero de la Luz in Santiago de Cuba y Las Tunas they are carried out from a local perspective, so the approach to the remaining eastern states: Granma, Holguín y Guantánamo, would make it possible to offer a more comprehensive study on the association in eastern Cuba. Consequently, the objective of the article lies in revealing the contribution of the Order Caballero de la Luz of eastern cuban society, with emphasis on the Granma, Holguín and Guantánamo state. The research was based on documentary analysis and contributed to revealing, from a regional perspective, significant aspects of the social actions of the Order Caballero de la Luz aimed at the enrichment of the built heritage, civic action, Martí's reception and sociocultural work; as well as the support offered to the revolutionary government

No full textLa Filosofía Latinoamericana nació con el conflicto acerca de lo propio y lo ajeno, es decir una filosofía que hizo de su propio estatuto de posibilidad el contenido a desarrollar. Por tanto, un pensamiento que, alejado de los cánones metafísicos y epistemológicos propios del occidente europeo. Cuando se pregunta por la existencia de una filosofía latinoamericana, se hace partiendo del sentimiento de una diversidad, es la conciencia de la distinción y la diferencia, lo que guía el ejercicio teórico desde el contexto regional al plano de las ideas. El trabajo tiene como objetivo explicar cómo se manifiesta la filosofía latinoamericana en el pensamiento filosófico cubano en la primera mitad del siglo XX. Para realizar la investigación se emplearon métodos como el método de análisis- síntesis, método inducción- deducción y el histórico-lógico y técnicas como el análisis documental.Latin American Philosophy was born with the conflict about what is its own and what is foreign, that is, a philosophy that made its own status of possibility the content to be developed. Therefore, a thought that, away from the metaphysical and epistemological canons typical of Western Europe. When asking about the existence of a Latin American philosophy, it is done starting from the feeling of diversity, it is the awareness of distinction and difference, which guides the theoretical exercise from the regional context to the plane of ideas. No full textEn el artículo que se muestra se evidenció la existencia de dificultades en el nivel de conocimientos de los estudiantes en lo referido al trabajo con fracciones numéricas, del mismo modo que la utilización de medios tecnológicos era muy limitada. En la propuesta didáctica que se ofrece se dan sugerencias de actividades que pueden ser utilizadas para lograr conocimientos en el trabajo con fracciones utilizando diferentes medios tecnológicos que permitieron favorecer la motivación de los estudiantes hacia el estudio de la Matemática y por ende mayor nivel de su conocimiento.In the article that is shown, the existence of difficulties in the level of knowledge of the students in relation to the work with numerical fractions is evidenced, in the same way that the use of technological means was very limited. In the didactic proposal that is offered, suggestions of activities are given that can be used to achieve knowledge in the work with fractions using different technological means that allowed to favor the motivation of the students towards the study of Mathematics and therefore a higher level of their knowledge

No full text Introducción: El prolapso de la válvula mitral es un síndrome frecuente debido a alteraciones en el aparato valvular mitral que causa un movimiento erróneo en el momento del cierre de las aletas de la válvula mitral del corazón. El cortejo sintomático es amplio y las taquicardias se describen como uno de los más comunes. Objetivo: describir las características anatomo-funcionales de los pacientes con prolapso valvular mitral en la Consulta de Cardiología del Hospital Pediátrico Hermanos Cordové de Manzanillo en el período agosto 2021- agosto 2022. Método: se realizó un estudio observacional, descriptivo, retrospectivo donde el universo estuvo constituido por los 132 pacientes con diagnóstico de Prolapso Mitral. Los datos se analizaron según la estadística descriptiva. Resultados: predominó el prolapso valvular anterior (97%) no clásico (95.5%), asimétrico (58.3%), no flotante (93.9%), en el sexo femenino (63.6%), entre los 12-14 años de edad (54.5 %), de procedencia extra hospitalaria (76.5%); las palpitaciones constituyeron la presentación inicial de la enfermedad (47.5%) y la insuficiencia mitral leve fue la complicación asociada más frecuente (63.9%). Conclusiones: se caracterizaron variables clínico-epidemiológicas de pacientes con Prolapso Mitral, atendidos en el hospital pediátrico de Manzanillo. La mayor parte de los pacientes proceden de la atención primaria de salud, con prolapso mitral sin insuficiencia valvular. La insuficiencia mitral ligera, fue la estratificación asociada más frecuente de los que tuvieron compromiso de la función valvular.Introduction: Mitral valve prolapse is a common syndrome due to alterations in the mitral valve apparatus that causes an erroneous movement at the time of closure of the flaps of the mitral valve of the heart. Objective: to describe the anatomo-functional characteristics of patients with mitral valve prolapse in the Cardiology Clinic of the Hermanos Cordové Pediatric Hospital in Manzanillo in the period August 2021-August 2022. The data were analyzed according to descriptive statistics. No full textEl artículo muestra los principales resultados de una investigación que se realizó al equipo de Voleibol Juvenil de La Habana. La misma fue realizada a los 4 pasadores de este equipo con el propósito de determinar ejercicios que contribuyan al desarrollo de la percepción del movimiento propio de los mismos durante el contacto con el balón en la realización de la acción técnica del pase. Se tiene en cuenta la importancia que tiene el sistema psicorregulador de las acciones motrices, específicamente la regulación ejecutora ya que dentro de ella están inmersos los procesos cognitivos los cuales son fundamentales para el éxito de las acciones técnico-tácticas. Se utilizan los métodos análisis- síntesis observación externa, la entrevista y la medición. Mediante la aplicación de los instrumentos se pudo determinar las dificultades de los atletas en la percepción del movimiento propio en ambos miembros; y la consideración por parte de los entrenadores de incluir ejercicios para el desarrollo de la percepción del movimiento propio.The article shows the main results of an investigation that was carried out on the Youth Volleyball team of Havana. It was carried out on the 4 passers of this team with the purpose of determining exercises that contribute to the development of the perception of their own movement during contact with the ball in the performance of the technical action of the pass. The importance of the psychoregulatory system of motor actions is taken into account, specifically the executory regulation, since within it are immersed the cognitive processes which are fundamental for the success of technical-tactical actions.The methods of analysis-synthesis, external observation, interview, and measurement are used. Implementation of a semi-automatic artisan incubator for the incubation of Creole eggs (Original).
No full text La investigación se desarrolló en la carrera agropecuaria de la Universidad Estatal del Sur de Manabí. El objetivo fue implementar una incubadora artesanal semi automática para la incubación de huevos criollos en la carrera Agropecuaria de la Universidad Estatal del Sur de Manabí; también se valoró el porcentaje de fertilidad y natalidad como objetivos específicos del trabajo. Consta con una estructura de plástico, con dos cubetas de rodillo con volteo automático, capacidad de 100 unidades de huevos, está compuesto por un sistema de control interno (termostato) que regula la humedad, temperatura y el volteo automático de los huevos, el porcentaje de fertilidad fue del 90% de los huevos de gallinas criollas, la tasa de natalidad del 89% y la efectividad de la incubadora del 99%; los huevos utilizados deben ser homogéneos con un peso promedio de 55 gramos. El equipo implementado de manera artesanal tuvo excelentes resultados, demostrando que es factible implementar una incubadora artificial ya que son eficaces y justifican su inversión. No full textEn los momentos actuales del siglo XXl, la preparación de profesores constituye una necesidad para su adecuado desempeño el proceso educativo, fundamentalmente en la gestión ambiental en aras del logro de los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible expresados en la Agenda 2030, con énfasis en la carrera Licenciatura en Cultura Física donde los profesores requieren de herramientas teóricas y metodológicas para el proceso de gestión ambiental desde las asignaturas que imparten. Es por ello que en el presente trabajo se plantea como objetivo ofrecer una estrategia metodológica de preparación de profesores para la gestión ambiental en la carrera Licenciatura en Cultura Física. Se aplicaron métodos teóricos y empíricos, en la determinación de los referentes relacionados con la preparación de profesores en la gestión ambiental y la caracterización del estado inicial del problema investigado. Se diseña la estrategia metodológica con sus fundamentos y definen las categorías: preparación de profesores para la gestión ambiental en la carrera Licenciatura en Cultura Física. Se fundamenta el Principio de orientación hacia la gestión ambiental, que dinamiza la estrategia metodológica de preparación de profesores y se establecen las relaciones entre los componentes que la conforman, además de acciones de preparación que favorecen la actuación metodológica participativa coherente de los profesores en el proceso de gestión ambiental.
