Penyelesaian Dinamika Konflik Warisan dalam Keluarga
Artikel ini mengkaji dinamika penyelesaian konflik warisan dalam keluarga masyarakat Bugis di Tanete Riaja dengan menekankan hubungan antara mekanisme sosial, nilai budaya lokal, dan prinsip-prinsip hukum Islam. Konflik warisan kerap muncul akibat perbedaan pemahaman mengenai hak kepemilikan dan pembagian harta peninggalan, yang berpotensi mengganggu keharmonisan keluarga dan ketertiban sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk konflik warisan yang terjadi, mekanisme penyelesaian yang ditempuh oleh masyarakat, serta relevansi praktik tersebut dengan perspektif hukum Islam.. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teori hukum adat, konsep al-‘urf, dan maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah guna memahami integrasi antara norma sosial yang hidup dalam masyarakat dan prinsip keadilan dalam hukum Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konflik warisan di Tanete Riaja umumnya diselesaikan melalui musyawarah kekeluargaan yang melibatkan tokoh adat dan tokoh agama sebagai mediator. Nilai siri’ na pacce berperan penting sebagai landasan etika sosial yang mendorong penyelesaian konflik secara damai dan berkeadilan. Praktik musyawarah tersebut tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana penyelesaian sengketa, tetapi juga sebagai mekanisme restoratif yang menjaga hubungan kekerabatan dan stabilitas sosial. Dari perspektif hukum Islam, penyelesaian konflik warisan yang mengakomodasi kesepakatan keluarga dan nilai kemaslahatan dapat dipandang selaras dengan prinsip maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pendekatan penyelesaian konflik berbasis kearifan lokal dan nilai-nilai Islam masih relevan dan efektif dalam konteks masyarakat Bugis kontemporer
Hubungan Antara Intimasi Komunikasi Pertemanan dengan Tipe Kepribadian Introver dan Ekstrovert Pada Mahasiswa FUAD IAIN Parepare
Persahabatan merupakan aspek penting dalam kehidupan sosial manusia, di mana komunikasi yang intim menjadi salah satu indikator kualitas hubungan interpersonal. Intimasi komunikasi pertemanan mencerminkan kedekatan emosional yang dibangun melalui keterbukaan, empati, dan saling percaya. Namun, tidak semua individu membangun kedekatan emosional dengan cara yang sama, karena tipe kepribadian seperti introvert dan ekstrovert turut memengaruhi cara seseorang berkomunikasi dan menjalin hubungan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tipe kepribadian introvert dan ekstrovert dengan tingkat intimasi komunikasi pertemanan pada mahasiswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif Fakultas Ushuluddin, Adab dan Dakwah IAIN Parepare, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 287 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik probability samoling. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner tertutup, lalu dianalisis menggunakan teknik korelasi Pearson Product Moment melalui bantuan aplikasi SPSS.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tipe kepribadian dengan tingkat intimasi komunikasi pertemanan dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,292 (nilai signifikansi < 0,05). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan meskipun hubungan tergolong lemah, kepribadian tetap berperan dalam membentuk kedekatan emosional dalam hubungan pertemanan mahasiswa. Pemahaman terhadap tipe kepribadian sangat penting dalam membangun hubungan sosial yang sehat dan bermakna, serta dapat menjadi dasar pengembangan komunikasi interpersonal yang lebih inklusif di lingkungan pendidikan
Maritime English Proficiency and Its Impact on Equipment Maintenance and Safety: A Study of Onboard Communication
Effective communication is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of maritime vessels, where the proficiency in Maritime English plays a significant role. This study examines the relationship between Maritime English proficiency and its impact on equipment maintenance and safety onboard ships. Through a combination of surveys, interviews, and observational research conducted with maritime professionals, the study assesses how varying levels of English proficiency affect the clarity of communication related to equipment maintenance tasks, incident reporting, and safety protocols. Findings reveal that higher levels of proficiency in Maritime English are associated with improved accuracy in maintenance procedures, better understanding of safety instructions, and a reduction in communication-related errors. The study underscores the necessity for enhanced English language training programs for maritime personnel and suggests practical measures to improve communication practices on board. The results highlight the broader implications for maritime safety and operational efficiency, emphasizing the need for ongoing investment in language skills development within the maritime industry
AI Integration in English Language Education: Assessing Its Influence on Grammar and Vocabulary Mastery
Background: Artificial Intelligence (AI) has increasingly been adopted in language education to address persistent challenges in traditional instruction, particularly the limited personalization, delayed feedback, and constrained exposure to authentic language input. These issues often hinder learners’ progress in mastering essential components of language proficiency, such as grammar and vocabulary.
Research Objectives: This study aims to examine the influence of AI-powered tutoring tools on the development of English grammar accuracy and vocabulary mastery among learners across varying proficiency levels. Specifically, it assesses whether AI-based instruction offers measurable advantages over conventional teaching methods.
Methods: A mixed-methods approach was implemented using a quasi-experimental design with 100 English language learners divided equally into experimental and control groups. The experimental group received AI-assisted instruction using adaptive learning systems, while the control group followed traditional methods. Data were obtained through pre- and post-tests, surveys, and interviews. Quantitative data were analyzed using paired t-tests and ANOVA, while qualitative responses underwent thematic analysis.
Results: Findings indicate that learners using AI-powered tools demonstrated greater improvements in grammatical accuracy and vocabulary retention compared to those receiving traditional instruction. The adaptive feedback mechanisms and personalized learning pathways significantly enhanced learner engagement and supported consistent progress. Qualitative insights further revealed positive learner perceptions regarding usability, motivation, and clarity of feedback provided by AI systems.
Conclusions: The study concludes that AI integration contributes positively to English grammar and vocabulary development by offering individualized learning experiences and immediate corrective feedback. While AI cannot fully replace human instruction, it serves as an effective complementary tool. Further research is recommended to explore long-term impacts, ethical considerations, and strategies for optimizing AI use across diverse educational contexts
Negotiating Religious Moderation and Legal Pluralism in Indonesia: A Socio-Anthropological Perspective
Tensions between religious communities in a nation become one of the triggers of social conflicts that result in communal conflicts based on ethnicity, religion, race, and intergroup. Communal conflict is a very crucial social issue because it can trigger a civil war that takes many victims. Communal conflict factors are generally preceded by social prejudice that makes a person or group of people deny the existence of equality and equal rights. Cases of social prejudice often arise more because of religious sentiment and sectarian politics, and or other identity politics. An understanding of religious moderation is a strong indicator for realizing social harmony in the life of pluralistic Indonesian society. Indonesia is a state of law that also embraces legal pluralism in certain legal rules. The level of understanding of religious moderation that is symmetrically related to legal pluralism becomes a problem in this paper. This research is based on quantitative research. Primary data is used to determine the level of understanding (perception) of religious moderation among religious leaders and officials in South Sumatra Province. Primary data were obtained through a questionnaire based on GoogleForm online. The focus and location of the research is Palembang City which represents the highest level of heterogeneity compared to other regions in South Sumatra Province. Based on data analysis, it was found that the level of understanding of religious moderation is very high, while the level of understanding of the manifestation of legal pluralism is below the level of high. It is recommended that there is a public policy in which there is a legal policy of the Regional Government through Regional Regulations to realize religious moderation by increasing public knowledge through religious moderation education and the ability to understand legal pluralism which is a necessity in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. For the Central Government, it can issue legal products in the form of laws or other regulations on religious moderation and legal pluralism.This study aims to investigate the relationship between religious moderation and the understanding of legal pluralism in Indonesia, focusing on how religious leaders perceive and negotiate these concepts in a pluralistic legal environment. The research employs a quantitative design using a Google Form-based questionnaire distributed to religious figures in Palembang City, South Sumatra Province—selected due to its high demographic heterogeneity. The findings reveal that while the respondents demonstrate a very high level of understanding of religious moderation, their comprehension of legal pluralism remains relatively low. This indicates an epistemic asymmetry between theological discourse and legal awareness within a plural society. The study contributes theoretically by bridging the concepts of religious moderation and legal pluralism through a socio-anthropological lens, offering a fresh perspective on the negotiation of religious authority and civic legal consciousness in Indonesian society. Practically, the study suggests that local governments and educational institutions should formulate targeted public policies—such as regional regulations and inclusive legal education programs—to strengthen legal pluralism as an essential foundation for harmonious coexistence. Nonetheless, the research is limited by its reliance on online data collection, which may restrict the generalizability of findings to communities with limited digital access, calling for future studies that adopt mixed-methods or ethnographic approaches

Purpose: This study seeks to evaluate the sociological elements affecting the implementation of Islamic law in Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, and Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the roles of legal pluralism, state ideology, and religious authority in its enforcement
Methods: The study employs a qualitative-comparative methodology, utilizing document analysis and secondary data review to examine the historical evolution, legal frameworks, and sociocultural contexts that support Islamic law in the three nations
Results: The findings indicate that Brunei and Saudi Arabia implement Islamic law inside monarchical and theocratic structures, but Indonesia reconciles Islamic principles within a pluralistic legal framework shaped by democracy, adat, and secular constitutionalism
Implication: This article theoretically enhances Islamic legal scholarship by contextualizing Islamic law within sociological and reception-focused frameworks, demonstrating that its legitimacy arises from intricate interactions among tradition, state, and society. Analysis of environmental care attitudes based on students’ ecological intelligence
Ecological intelligence is crucial in enhancing human awareness of environmental issues. However, there is a lack of research on how environmental care attitudes are developed through the learning process in the classroom. This study aims to explore how students perceive environmental care attitudes based on ecological intelligence. The research used a quantitative methodology with a percentage technique and involved 120 students from Madrasah as the sample. Research data were obtained through a closed-ended questionnaire, and the data were analyzed through percentages. The findings show that students possess a high level of environmental care, as evidenced by the highest agreement level in the head (cognition) or learning to know with 89.3%, followed by the heart (affection) or learning to be with 86.5%, and then the hands (conation) or learning to do with 85.6%. The result indicates that students who participate in environmental care activities in school have good ecological intelligence. These results suggest that integrating ecological intelligence into classroom learning can effectively foster environmental care attitudes. Therefore, educators and curriculum developers should consider incorporating more environmental education components into daily instruction. Future research may explore the long-term impact of ecological intelligence-based learning on students’ environmental behavior outside school
Mengenal Keterkaitan antara Pemahaman Konsep Berdasarkan Teori Skemp dengan Kemampuan Metakognitif Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Matematika: Exploring the Relationship Between Conceptual Understanding Based on Skemp's Theory and Students' Metacognitive Abilities in Mathematics Learning
Pemahaman konsep matematis merupakan landasan berpikir siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Adanya pemahaman konsep yang dimiliki, siswa dengan mudah memahami dan menerapkan materi matematika. Salah satu keterampilan yang berperan penting terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis adalah kemampuan metakognitif sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana pengaruh pemahaman konsep matematis berdasarkan teori Skemp terhadap metakognitif siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah literature review. Artikel yang dikumpulkan menggunakan database seperti Goggle Scholar dan beberapa referensi pendukung dari buku. Terdapat 41 artikel jurnal yang difokuskan untuk dikaji dan dilakukan analisis lebih dalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pemahaman relasional dan pemahaman instrumental terhadap metakognitif siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Siswa yang memiliki metakognitif tinggi memiliki kemampuan pemahaman relasional dan instrumental yang baik, sedangkan siswa yang memiliki metakognitif yang sedang dan rendah hanya memiliki kemampuan pemahaman instrumental. Hal ini juga dapat dikatakan bahwa dalam pemahaman relasional dan instrumental perlu adanya kesadaran dan pengetahuan tentang apa yang mereka pikirkan, mengapa dan bagaimana mereka mengerjakan dan menyelesaikan masalah dengan baik dan tepat serta langkah apa yang harus mereka lakukan ketika dihadapkan dengan permasalahan yang kompleks dan yang membutuhkan penalaran yang tinggi.Pemahaman konsep matematis merupakan landasan berpikir siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. BRANDING STRATEGIES FOR ISLAMIC BANKS IN THE CONTEXT OF DECLINING CUSTOMER TRUST
This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to examine branding strategies implemented by Islamic banks in response to the decline in customer trust. The review analyzes 30 peer-reviewed scholarly articles indexed in Scopus and Sinta, published between 2017 and 2025, selected based on defined inclusion criteria and following the PRISMA protocol to ensure transparency and replicability. A thematic synthesis was conducted to identify key branding approaches, trust dynamics, and the role of Islamic values in shaping institutional identity. The findings indicate that value-based branding, dual-oriented positioning, religiosity-driven communication, and personalized digital services are dominant strategies in rebuilding customer trust. However, most existing literature has yet to propose an integrative framework that systematically links branding elements with trust dynamics and religious contexts. Accordingly, this study contributes by offering a conceptual synthesis that serves as a reference for the development of trust-based branding strategies within the Islamic banking industry.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) untuk mengkaji strategi branding yang diterapkan oleh bank syariah dalam merespons menurunnya kepercayaan nasabah. Kajian ini mereview 30 artikel ilmiah terindeks Scopus dan Sinta yang diterbitkan pada periode 2017–2025, dengan seleksi berdasarkan kriteria inklusi tertentu dan mengikuti protokol PRISMA. Sintesis tematik digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi pendekatan branding yang relevan, dinamika kepercayaan nasabah, serta peran nilai-nilai Islam dalam membentuk citra institusional. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa strategi berbasis nilai (value-based branding), pemosisian ganda (dual-oriented), komunikasi religius, serta personalisasi layanan digital merupakan pendekatan dominan dalam memulihkan kepercayaan nasabah. Meskipun demikian, sebagian besar literatur belum menawarkan kerangka integratif yang menghubungkan elemen branding dengan dinamika kepercayaan dan konteks religiusitas. Oleh karena itu, kajian ini berkontribusi dengan menawarkan sintesis konseptual yang dapat menjadi acuan bagi pengembangan strategi branding berbasis kepercayaan dalam industri perbankan syariah
Pengaruh Green Fiance, Pertumbuhan Ekonomi dan Keterbukaan Perdagangan Terhadap Emisi CO2 Bukti dari Negara Anggota OKI: The Effect of Green Fiance, Economic Growth and Trade Openness on CO2 Emissions Evidence from OIC Member Countries
Sustainable development is currently not only measured by the economic growth of a country or region but goes further than that. One of them, through the stability and maintenance of the environment. This study aims to look at the relationship between green financing, economic growth, trade barriers and CO2 emissions specifically in countries that are members of the OIC cooperation. This study uses a quantitative approach with a panel data estimation model with the help of testing using the eviews 9 statistical application. Samples were used in 8 countries namely Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Sudan and Saudi Arabia, with sample fees using purposive example. Furthermore, data was obtained from the official website of the world bank and the Islamic Financial Service Board (IFSB). The peculiarity of this research is that it shows that environmentally friendly financing, economic growth and the rise of trading have a positive effect on CO2 emissions. The results of this study confirm that development policies in several OIC member countries have had a significant impact on pollution in these countries and the presence of Islamic banks through financing in the green economy sector has not shown an impact that can reduce CO2 emissions.Pembangunan berkelanjutan saat ini bukan hanya sebatas diukur melalui pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu negara atau kawasan melainkan lebih jauh dari itu. Salah satunya, melalui kestabilan dan terjaganya lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubung antara green financing, pertumbuhan ekonomi, keterbukaan perdagangan dan emisi CO2 yang secara khusus di negara yang tergabung dalam kerjasama OKI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan model estimasi data panel dengan bantuan pengujian menggunakan aplikasi statistik eviews 9. Sampel digunakan sebanyak 8 negara yakni Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brunai Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Sudan dan Saudi Arabia, dengan penentuan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Selanjutnya, data diperoleh dari website resmi world bank dan Islamic Financial Service Board (IFSB). temuan penelitian ini, memperlihatkan ternyata green financing, pertumbuhan ekonomi dan keterbukaan perdagangan berpengaruh positif terhadap emisi CO2. hasil penelitian ini mengkonfirmasi bahwa kebijakan pembangunan di beberapa negara anggota OKI berdampak signifikan terhadap polusi yang ada di negara-negara tersebut dan kehadiran bank syariah melalui pembiayaan di sektor green economics belum memperlihatkan dampak yang dalam menurunkan emisi CO2
