Fintech Lending Adoption among Muslim Millennials : Toward Inclusive and Ethical Sharia Banking in Southeast Asia
Purpose – This study aims to analyze the economic, social, and cultural factors influencing fintech lending adoption among Muslim millennials in these three nations while critically assessing the regulatory and ethical challenges of integrating Islamic financial principles into digital lending ecosystems
Method – This research employs a comparative qualitative approach, integrating survey data, semi-structured interviews, and policy analysis to examine the regulatory landscapes and consumer behavior in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.
Findings – The findings indicate that Malaysia leads in Islamic fintech adoption, supported by a well-regulated and structured Sharia-compliant financial system. Indonesia demonstrates high fintech penetration but suffers from low consumer awareness regarding Islamic digital finance alternatives. Thailand, in contrast, lacks a formal Islamic fintech framework, which has led to low adoption rates despite the presence of Muslim-majority provinces.
Practical implications – The study offers important theoretical implications by bridging Islamic finance principles with digital financial innovation and contributing to the literature on fintech adoption in Muslim-majority and minority regions. The practical implications suggest that ASEAN policymakers should harmonize Islamic fintech regulations to enable cross-border collaborations, expand Sharia-compliant fintech to underserved Muslim populations, and develop financial literacy initiatives to enhance consumer trust in digital Islamic finance.

Empowering micro-entrepreneurs through community communication networks in Pangandaran’s tourism sector
Though micro-MSMEs are being more acknowledged as important engines of local economic growth, especially in tourism-oriented areas, there is still little knowledge of how community communication networks operate as tools of social empowerment, especially in settings characterized by internal migration, digital inequality, and resource asymmetry. This paper looks at how such networks enable indigenous and migrant micro-MSME players in Pangandaran, a fast-growing coastal tourism area in Indonesia. The study uses a qualitative case study method to grasp the complexity of community dynamics set against the background of unequal access to resources and possibilities among commercial actors. Data were gathered using in-depth interviews with 20 key informants and 4 community representatives, supplemented by participant observation and community document analysis. The research found, via thematic analysis, that communication networks are also platforms for empowerment by means of training, resource access, and social solidarity in addition to channels for corporate information exchange and promotion. Especially during the COVID-19 crisis, when tactics like product diversification and internet marketing became vital, these networks have supported corporate adaptation. Still, there are ongoing issues, including low digital literacy, unequal information access, and intra-community conflicts hindering group development. The results highlight the need to enhance community capacities by means of inclusive communication policies, digital literacy projects, and conflict resolution tools. Local governments, community-based organizations, and legislators trying to create strong and inclusive economic ecosystems in tourism-dependent areas will find these ideas useful
Integrasi Prinsip Shariah Compliance dan Manajemen Risiko Keuangan Pada Lembaga Keuangan Syariah di Indonesia: Integration of Shariah Compliance Principles and Financial Risk Management in Islamic Financial Institutions in Indonesia
The background of this study is the importance of ensuring sharia compliance and effective risk management for the sustainability of LKS. The purpose of the research is: 1) Analyze the principles of Shariah Compliance. 2) Identify and classify the types of risks in LKS. 3) Evaluate the integration of Shariah Compliance principles in risk management practices in LKS. The method used is library research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The results showed that sharia compliance is The principle of Shariah Compliance is important for Sharia Financial Institutions (LKS) to ensure transactions comply with Islamic teachings, such as the prohibition of riba and maysir. The Shariah Supervisory Board (DPS) oversees compliance and recommends products. LKS faces risks such as financing and reputation, requiring ethical risk management. The Role of Traditional Markets in Advancing Maqasid Al-Sharia: A Case Study of Pasar Baru Sungai Dama Samarinda : Peran Pasar Tradisional dalam Memajukan Maqasid Al-Syariah: Studi Kasus Pasar Baru Sungai Dama Samarinda
This study investigates the role of traditional markets in advancing the objectives of Maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah by conducting a qualitative case study of Pasar Baru Sungai Dama in Samarinda, Indonesia. The research applies a thematic analysis grounded in the five dimensions of Maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah—preservation of religion (ḥifẓ al-dīn), life (ḥifẓ al-nafs), intellect (ḥifẓ al-ʿaql), progeny (ḥifẓ al-nasl), and wealth (ḥifẓ al-māl). Data were collected through interviews, field observations, and documentation reviews, and analyzed inductively to identify how market practices align with Shariah-based ethical and economic values. Findings reveal that Pasar Baru supports religious practices, provides safety and hygiene infrastructure, fosters ethical education, accommodates family needs, and enhances financial inclusion. These dimensions demonstrate the capacity of traditional markets to contribute meaningfully to Islamic socio-economic goals beyond mere commerce. The study concludes that with deliberate ethical governance, traditional markets can serve as inclusive Shariah-compliant institutions. Implications for Islamic economics, public policy, and local governance are discussed, with recommendations for broader application and future comparative research
Pengembangan KOMPAS (Komik IPA SMPP) Interaktif sebagai Media Pembelajaran untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik pada Materi Sistem Pernapasan Manusia
This research focuses on the development of KOMPAS (Komik IPA SMP) Interactive as a learning medium to improve students' learning outcomes on human respiratory system materials. In this study, the problem of how to develop KOMPAS (Komik IPA SMP) media, media validity, media practicality, and media effectiveness is discussed. This study aims to determine the development of KOMPAS (Junior High School Science Comics) media, the validity of KOMPAS (Junior High School Science Comics) Interactive, the practicality and effectiveness of KOMPAS (Junior High School Science Comics) Interactive media. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D research model starting from the definition stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the dissemination stage. The mechanism of data collection is through observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Data analysis applies data validity tests, data practicality tests, and data effectiveness tests. The results of the study show 1) the development of KOMPAS (Junior High School Science Comics) as a learning medium to improve students' learning outcomes on human respiratory system material through various stages starting from define, design, development, and disseminate; 2) The validation of KOMPAS (Junior High School Science Comics) Interactive is in the very valid category with a percentage of 94% 3) The practicality of KOMPAS (Junior High School Science Comics) is in the very practical category with a percentage of 86%; 4) the effectiveness of KOMPAS (Interactive Junior High School Science Comics) is in the very practical category with a percentage of 86.16%; 4) The effectiveness of KOMPAS (Junior High School Science Comics) Interactive is considered effective to be used as a source of Biology learning because the N-Gain score obtained is 0.72 which if categorized has increased with high effectiveness.
Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan KOMPAS (Komik IPA SMP) Interaktif sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia. Dalam penelitian ini membahas masalah bagaimana pengembangan media KOMPAS (Komik IPA SMP), kevalidan media , kepraktisan media, dan keefektifan media. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan media KOMPAS (Komik IPA SMP), kevalidan KOMPAS (Komik IPA SMP) Interaktif, kepraktisan dan keefektifan media KOMPAS (Komik IPA SMP) Interaktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Developmen (R&D) dengan model penelitian 4D yang dimulai dari tahap pendefenisian (define), tahap perencanaan (design), tahap pengembangan (development), dan tahap penyebaran (disseminate). Mekanisme pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, tes, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menerapkan uji kevaliditasan data, uji kepraktisan data, dan uji keefektifan data. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan 1) pengembangan KOMPAS (Komik IPA SMP) Interaktif sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia melalui berbagai tahapan berawal dari define (pendeskripsian), design (pembuatan), development (pengembangan), dan disseminate (penyebaran); 2) Kevalidasian KOMPAS (Komik IPA SMP) Interaktif berada pada kategori sangat valid dengan persentase 94% 3) Kepraktisan KOMPAS (Komik IPA SMP) Interaktif berada pada kategori sangat praktis dengan persentase 86%; 4) keefektifan KOMPAS (Komik IPA SMP) Interaktif berada pada kategori sangat praktis dengan persentase 86,16%; 4) Keefektifan KOMPAS (Komik IPA SMP) Interaktif dinilai efektif untuk dijadikan sumber belajar Biologi karena nilai skor N-Gain yang diperoleh sebesar 0,72 yang jika dikategori mengalami peningkatan secara efektifitas tinggi.
 
EFEKTIVITAS DAN EFISIENSI PENGELOLAAN ALOKASI DANA DESA DI DESA AMESSANGANG KECAMATAN LANRISANG KABUPATEN PINRANG
The effectiveness and efficiency of village fund allocation management can be known through the achievement of goals or objectives that have been set previously. Effectiveness and efficiency can be measured if there are results or achievements from various activities or projects that have been carried out. This study aims to determine the level of Effectiveness and Efficiency of Village Fund Allocation Management in Amassangang Village, Lanrisang District, Pinrang Regency. This research uses quantitative research and for data collection using observation and documentation methods and supporting data in the form of Village Fund Allocation (ADD) reports for the last 3 years from 2021-2023. The results showed that the Effectiveness and Efficiency of Village Fund Allocation Management in Amassangang Village, Lanrisang District, Pinrang Regency was considered effective, but inefficient. The effectiveness of the management of village fund allocations is considered effective and is evidenced by the average percentage value of effectiveness of 99.84%. Meanwhile, the efficiency of village fund allocation management is considered inefficient through the average percentage value of efficiency of 100.87%.Efektivitas dan efisiensi pengelolaan alokasi dana desa dapat diketahui melalui pencapaian sasaran atau tujuan yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya. Efektivitas dan efisiensi dapat diukur jika sudah terdapat hasil atau pencapaian dari berbagai kegiatan atau proyek yang telah dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, tingkat Efektivitas dan Efisiensi Pengelolaan Alokasi Dana Desa Di Desa Amassangang Kecamatan Lanrisang Kabupaten Pinrang. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dan untuk pengumpulan datanya dengan metode observasi dan dokumentası serta data pendukung berupa laporan Alokasi Dana Desa (ADD) selama 3 tahun terakhir dari tahun 2021-2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkkan Efektivitas dan Efisiensi Pengelolaan Alokasi Dana Desa di Desa Amassangang Kecamatan Lanrisang Kabupaten Pinrang dinilai efektif, namun tidak efisien. Efektivitas pengelolaan alokasi dana desa dinilai efektif dan dibuktikan dengan rata-rata nilai persentase efektivitas sebesar 99,84%. Sedangkan untuk efisiensi pengelolaan alokasi dana desa dinilai tidak efisien melalui nilai rata-rata persentase efisiensi sebesar 100,87%
Analisa Aspek Kognitif dan Sosial Terhadap Buku Teks Bahasa Arab Kelas VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Terbitan Kemenag Tahun 2020
Salah satu indikator penting dari penyusunan buku teks adalah memperhatikan aspek psikologi dan sosial dari siswa. Dengan tujuan agar buku teks yang disusun dapat memenuhi kebutuhan siswa yang membacanya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif, yang mengarah kepada deskriptif analisis dalam rangka mengkaji dan menganalisis secara mendalam terkait pengklasifikasian Taksonomi Kognitif pada buku teks bahasa Arab siswa berdasarkan pada teori taksonomi kognitif Bloom versi Anderson dan Karthwohl. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis isi (content analysis untuk menarik kesimpulan berdasarkan fakta dengan mempertimbangkan konteksnya. Pada aspek kognitif, penulis menemukan BAB I memiliki presentasi tingkat berpikir LOTS yang lebih banyak dari pada tingkat berpikir HOTS, yaitu LOTS sebesar 55,56 % dan HOTS sebesar 44,44 %. Adapun BAB II Penulis menemukan bahwa BAB II memiliki presentasi tingkat berpikir LOTS yang seimbang dengan tingkat berpikir HOTS, yaitu LOTS sebesar 50% dan HOTS sebesar 50%. Sedangkan pada aspek sosial, BAB I itu memiliki perhatian terhadap kebudayaan siswa yaitu dengan memperhatikan kebudayaan siswa yang berupa banyaknya gambar berwarna, memperhatikan kondisi lingkungan siswa dengan memperbanyak kosakata yang sesuai dengan lingkungan negara Indonesia Akan tetapi pada BAB I ini dari aspek sosial kurang memperhatikan kebudayaan dari tempat buku ini disebarkan yaitu di sekolah-sekolah keislaman yang sangat kental dengan nilai-nilai keislaman seperti memakai jilbab, karena pada BAB ini ditemukan gambar wanita yang tidak memakai jilbab. Kemudian pada BAB II dari aspek sosial, kurang memperhatikan kebudayaan siswa yang lebih menyukai gambar dibandingkan tulisan, di BAB II ini tidak ditemukan gambar-gambar terkait mufrodat yang diajarkan
Revitalization of Islamic Psychotherapy: The Incorporation of Spiritual Values in Rehabilitation Center
This article explores the role of Islamic psychotherapy in the rehabilitation of students (santri) at the Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Nashrun Minallah Islamic Boarding School, focusing on the incorporation of spiritual values. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study design to analyze the impact of incorporating spiritual values in therapy. The research findings show that the integration of spiritual values in Islamic psychotherapy significantly enhances the emotional and spiritual conditions of the students. Key findings include increased inner peace, positive behavioral changes, improved self-motivation, and better social relationships and quality interactions. Additionally, the students demonstrated increased resilience, better abilities to face life challenges, and a deeper understanding of the meaning of life. This research also emphasizes that this approach not only serves as a method of individual healing but also strengthens the overall community of the boarding school. These conclusions affirm the importance of integrating spiritual values in rehabilitation programs to achieve better psychological and social well-being.Artikel ini mengeksplorasi peran Psikoterapi Islam dalam rehabilitasi santri di Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Nashrun Minallah dengan fokus pada penanaman nilai spiritual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus untuk menganalisis dampak penerapan nilai-nilai spiritual dalam terapi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai spiritual dalam Psikoterapi Islam secara signifikan meningkatkan kondisi emosional dan spiritual santri. Temuan utama mencakup peningkatan ketenangan batin, perubahan perilaku positif, motivasi diri yang lebih baik, serta perbaikan dalam hubungan sosial dan kualitas interaksi. Selain itu, santri menunjukkan peningkatan ketahanan diri, kemampuan menghadapi tantangan hidup dengan lebih baik, dan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang makna hidup. Penelitian ini juga menggarisbawahi bahwa pendekatan ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai metode penyembuhan individu tetapi juga memperkuat komunitas pesantren secara keseluruhan. Kesimpulan ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi nilai spiritual dalam program rehabilitasi untuk mencapai kesejahteraan psikologis dan sosial yang lebih baik
Melampaui Batas Fisik: Segregasi Sosial dalam Kontestasi Ruang Keagamaan Perkotaan: Beyond Physical Boundaries: Social Segregation in Contestation Urban Religious Space
Religious spatial segregation is an increasingly prominent phenomenon in Indonesia's urban landscape. This study analyzes how the spatial dimension of religion contributes to polarization and conflict between religious groups in urban societies. Using a qualitative descriptive approach and literature review method, this research explores the forms, impacts, and prevention efforts of religious spatial segregation through analysis of cases involving the dissolution of religious rituals and rejection of houses of worship construction. Based on the concept of Religion and Space by Lili Kong and Orlando Wood, this study argues that the spatial dimension of religion reinforces the boundaries of religious differences, transforming them from imaginary to clear and practical boundaries, thus giving rise to tensions between religious groups. Furthermore, social segregation is created not only due to the monopolization of space by religious identities but also because space is always associated with power and regulation. To address religious violence resulting from segregation, this study proposes a peacebuilding design with an integrative structural and socio-cultural approach. The research findings indicate that the concept of religious spatiality is ambiguous and paradoxical, where blurred categorizations of space trigger contestation of meaning between groups, potentially leading to conflict and violations of religious freedom. This study contributes to a more comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of religious conflict in urban contexts and highlights the importance of a spatial approach in conflict resolution and peacebuilding efforts.Segregasi spasial agama merupakan fenomena yang semakin menonjol dalam lanskap perkotaan Indonesia. Studi ini menganalisis bagaimana dimensi spasial agama berkontribusi terhadap polarisasi dan konflik antarkelompok agama di masyarakat urban. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan metode literature review, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bentuk, dampak, serta upaya pencegahan segregasi spasialitas agama melalui analisis kasus-kasus pembubaran ritual ibadah dan penolakan pembangunan rumah ibadah. Berdasarkan konsep Religion and Space oleh Lili Kong dan Orlando Wood, studi ini berargumen bahwa dimensi spasialitas agama menegaskan batas-batas perbedaan agama yang awalnya bersifat imajiner menjadi batas yang jelas dan praktikal, sehingga melahirkan ketegangan antarkelompok agama. Lebih lanjut, segregasi sosial tercipta tidak hanya karena monopoli ruang oleh identitas agama, tetapi juga karena ruang selalu terkait dengan kekuasaan dan regulasi. Untuk mengatasi kekerasan agama akibat segregasi, studi ini menawarkan peacebuilding design dengan pendekatan struktural dan sosio-kultural yang integratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep spasialitas agama bersifat ambigu dan paradoksal, di mana kategorisasi ruang yang kabur memicu kontestasi makna antarkelompok, yang berpotensi mengarah pada konflik dan pelanggaran kebebasan beragama. Studi ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif tentang dinamika konflik agama dalam konteks urban dan menyoroti pentingnya pendekatan spasial dalam upaya resolusi konflik dan pembangunan perdamaian

This study discusses digital transformation, encompassing opportunities, challenges, and its impact on Sharia-based financial inclusion in Indonesia. With the advancement of digital technology, Islamic financial services have the potential to reach a broader population and enhance efficiency and transparency. Digital transformation enables communities in remote areas to easily access Islamic banking and financial services through digital platforms such as e-wallets, mobile banking, and Islamic fintech applications. This study employs a descriptive approach, utilizing data from references, previous research literature, books, reports, and other sources. The study concludes that to enhance Islamic financial inclusion, collaboration among the government, financial institutions, and technology developers is essential to create an ecosystem that supports the growth of Islamic fintech. Additionally, increasing financial literacy through structured educational programs is crucial. Digital transformation has proven to be one of the best methods for expanding Islamic financial inclusion, bringing greater economic and social benefits to the Indonesian society
