    ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN ALAT EKSPERIMEN FISIKA LIFT SEDERHANA UNTUK MATERI HUKUM NEWTON DI SMAN 6 KOTA BENGKULU

    The research carried out at SMAN 6 Bengkulu City aims to analyze the need for physics experiment tools, especially on Newton's Law material. The lack of availability of physics experimental equipment during the learning process makes it difficult for students to understand the concept of Newton's laws. The method used in this research is a mix method, namely quantitative and qualitative. Data collection technique in the form of qualitative interviews with physics teachers and quantitative questionnaires with students. Meanwhile, the instrument used in the research was a sheet teacher interviews and student questionnaire sheets. The results of the interviews and questionnaires obtained were that students had an interest in studying physics of 88.5% and felt that studying using physics experimental tools could understand the concept of Newton's law, but teachers rarely used physics experimental tools in Law material Newton due to difficulties in access from the lab to the classroom. This makes students feel bored with the learning methods used by teachers at 84.6% and there are still concepts that are not understood in Newton's law material at 69.2

    Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Gurita Berbasis Karakter untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Kognitif pada Materi Pengamalan Sila Pancasila Siswa Kelas IV SD

    The purpose of this research is to produce a Character-Based Gurita Learning Media to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students. Using the ADDIE development model, the study involved two media experts, two subject matter experts, one fourth-grade teacher, and 20 students from SDN 44 Kota Bengkulu. Data were collected through expert validation sheets and user feasibility questionnaires. (1) The media consists of several components: (a) octopus head, (b) octopus body, (c) octopus arms, and (d) a support pole. (2) The media received high feasibility ratings from both media experts (score of 86) and content experts (score of 67), categorized as very feasible. (3) Teacher responses also rated it highly, with scores of 87 and 85, while the average score from student responses was 12.90. (4) A paired samples t-test showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes, with pretest scores rising from an average of 74.57 to 85.65 in the posttest, yielding a gain score of 0.44 in the moderate category. These results suggest that the Gurpensila media is highly suitable for use as a teaching aid in Pancasila Education, particularly for teaching the practice of Pancasila principles in fourth-grade elementary school

    The problem in this study was the low learning outcomes in IPAS for students of grade V at SD Negeri 1 Teluk Pandan. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of the RADEC learning model (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create) on the learning outcomes in IPAS. This study used a quantitative approach with an experimental method. The experimental design used was a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study consisted of 83 students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a total of 55 students. Data collection techniques included tests and observations. Data analysis was performed using the t-test. The results of the study showed that (1) there was an effect of the RADEC learning model on IPAS learning outcomes, as evidenced by the t-test result of t = 10.7 > t-table = 2.021. (2) There was an effect of the problem-based learning model on IPAS learning outcomes, as evidenced by the t-test result of t = 5.487 > t-table = 2.021. (3) There was a difference in the effect between the RADEC learning model and the problem-based learning model on IPAS learning outcomes, as evidenced by the t-test result of t = 2.2 > t-table = 2.021.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 1 Teluk Pandan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitaif dengan metode eksperimen. Desain eksperimen yang digunakan yaitu nonequivalent control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 83 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling dengan jumlah 55 orang peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu Uji t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, (1) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran RADEC terhadap hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik. Hal itu dibuktikan dengan hasil thitung =  10,7 > ttabel = 2,021. (2) terdapat pengaruh model problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik, dibuktikan dengan hasil thitung =  5,487 > ttabel = 2,021. (3) terdapat perbedaan pengaruh model pembelajaran RADEC dengan model problem based learning  terhadap hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik, dibuktikan dengan hasil thitung = 2,2 > ttabel = 2,021

    Contextual-Based E-Comic Media Through Maritime Thematic Learning In Early Childhood

    This research aims to analyze the use of contextual-based e-comics through marine thematic learning in early childhood marine. Through this research, the problem will be solved by using e-comic learning media integrated into marine thematic learning for children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Bhayangkari Ternate City. The research uses a mixed method. While the design used to develop teaching materials is the 4-D model design, the development stages used are the development stages of Thiagarajan, Semmel & Semmel (1974) which include four development stages namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The data that has been collected using the instruments above is then analyzed quantitatively and directed to explain the validity of the comic media developed. Data from the validation of experts were analyzed by considering input, comments, and suggestions from validators. The results of the analysis were used as guidelines for revising the developed learning media. The data analysis methods used in this development research are the qualitative descriptive analysis method and the quantitative descriptive method. This method is used to process data from the results of linguists, learning media experts, and individual and small-group trial experts. To be able to support the learning process at PAUD Bhayangkari, the e-comic media goes through the expert validation test stage (media experts, linguists, PAUD material experts) as well as product trials (small group tests) where all three experts give very good or valid assessments and student responses as subjects classified as very good. From media experts, the percentage of validity obtained is 89.2, from users with a percentage of 98.33, linguists the percentage achieved is 100. From this analysis, as foundational years for cognitive and social development, early childhood education plays a pivotal role in shaping future learning experiences. Integrating engaging and relevant materials, such as e-comics, can enhance children's interest and understanding of marine themes

    PELATIHAN PEMBUATAN SABUN MA’CI (MANDI CANTIK) DARI LIMBAHDAUN MINYAK KAYU PUTIH

    Selama ini, daun minyak kayu putih yang sudah digunakan untuk penyulingan biasanya dibuang dan tidak digunakan lagi. Kelompok usaha Ni Nammdu Mbete hanya memanfaatkan potensi alam daun minyak kayu putih untuk membuat minyak atsiri daun minyak kayu putih saja. Sebagai bentuk inovasi baru, dalam pengabdian ini kelompok masyarakat kampung di ajarkan cara membuat sabun mandi batangan dengan menambahkan ekstrak aroma minyak kayu putih yang didapatkan dari limbah daun minyak kayu putih. Tahapan yang dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan ini antara lain pelatihan pembuatan sabun mandi, dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan pembuatan logo produk menggunakan aplikasi canva, dan terakhir dilaksanakan pelatihan mekanisme penjualan produk. Hasil akhir kegiatan pengabdian, terciptanya sabun mandi batangan produk inovatif kelompok Ni Nammdu Mbete sebagai langkah awal kelompok masyarakat dalam mengembangkan produk daun minyak kayu putih tidak saja menjadi atsiri tetapi juga dapat di kelola menjadi varian produk yang berbeda untuk meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat. Masyarakat begitu antusias mengikuti kegiatan ini dan aktif mempraktikan cara pembuatan sabun mandi yang diajarkan oleh tim pengabdian.     Effect of Non-Genetic Factors on Semen Quality of Cocks and Repeatability of Estimates

    Semen quality determines the fertilizing ability of cocks and other male animal’s semen. The goal of this study was to ascertain how ecotype, collection week, cock, and their interactions affected semen quality. The study also estimated the repeatability of some semen quality traits. A total of forty (40) cocks made up of 20 heavy ecotypes and 20 light ecotypes were used for the study. The cocks were individually identified with wing tags. Semen was collected from each cock from 7 am to 10 am every Saturday consistently for six weeks using the abdominal massage technique (AMT). Collected semen was evaluated in terms of volume, concentration, mass density, live sperm, and pH. The results indicated that the week of semen collection significantly affected sperm motility, percent live sperm, and semen pH, while ecotype significantly affected live sperm only. Ecotype x week x cock, interactions significantly affected sperm concentration only. The repeatability of semen quality traits was generally low and ranged from 0.01 ± 0.04 to 0.12 ± 0.04, thus depicting the massive influence of environmental factors on semen quality traits. It is concluded that more than six records are required to characterize the semen-producing ability of the Nigerian indigenous cocks

    Pengembangan Alat Peraga 3D IPA Untuk Melatih Pemahaman Konsep Kelas VII Pada Materi Tata Surya

    This research aimed to analyze the level of validity of 3D teaching aids with solar system material, and to analyze students' responses to 3D teaching aids using solar system material to train concept understanding.  The research carried out is a type of research and development using a 4D model. In this research, instruments were used in the form of interview instruments, validation questionnaire instruments and student response questionnaires. The research subjects consisted of three media experts, three material experts, and three practitioner experts (science teachers) as well as 30 class VII middle school students. The results of the validation of 3D teaching aids on the solar system material as a whole obtained a validity percentage from the three experts (media experts, material experts and practitioner experts/science teachers), namely 91.25% in the "Very Good" category and the results of student responses obtained a percentage value of 90. 05 in the "Very Good" category, so that this 3D teaching aid on the solar system material can be a medium in the teaching and learning process.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat kevalidan media alat peraga 3D dengan materi tata surya, dan untuk menganalisis respon siswa terhadap media alat peraga 3D dengan materi tata surya untuk melatih pemahaman konsep.  Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model 4D. Pada penelitian ini digunakan instrument berupa instrumen wawancara, instrument angket validasi dan angket respon siswa. Subjek dalam penelitian terdiri dari 3 ahli media, 3 ahli materi dan 3 ahli praktisi (guru IPA) serta 30 siswa SMP kelas VII. Hasil validasi alat peraga 3D pada materi tata surya  secara keseluruhan mendapatkan presentase kevalidan dari ketiga ahli (ahli media, ahli materi dan ahli praktisi) yaitu 91,25% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik” dan hasil respon siswa didapatkan nilai presentase 90,05 dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”, sehingga alat peraga 3D pada materi tata surya ini dapat sebagai media dalam proses pembelajaran

    Critical and creative thinking skills at SMA Pangudi Luhur (PL) Don Bosko are still classified as moderate critical thinking and less creative thinking, respectively. This illustrates that some students have not been able to interpret information scientifically and develop ideas to solve a problem. This study aims to analyze students' critical and creative thinking skills in understanding renewable energy material at SMA PL Don Bosko. These skills are important to face global challenges related to sustainable energy utilization. The research method used is descriptive with quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data were obtained through tests and questionnaires involving 20 students as respondents. The results of the analysis show that most students have critical thinking skills in the moderate category with an average achievement percentage of 62.94%, with the most dominant aspect of Elementary Clarification. However, students' creative thinking skills are still classified as lacking with an average achievement of 63.8%, with dominant results in the fluency aspect. Factors such as learning approaches, active student involvement, and learning resource support influence the development of these skills. This study suggests integrating a project-based learning model to improve students' critical and creative thinking skills on renewable energy materials.Kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif di SMA PL Don Bosko masing-masing masih tergolong berpikir kritis sedang dan berpikir kreatif yang kurang ini menggambarkan bahwa sebagian siswa belum mampu menginterpretasikan informasi secara ilmiah serta mengembangkan ide-ide untuk menyelesaikan suatu masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa dalam memahami materi energi terbarukan di SMA PL Don Bosko. Kemampuan ini penting untuk menghadapi tantangan global terkait pemanfaatan energi secara berkelanjutan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui tes dan angket yang melibatkan 20 siswa sebagai responden. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis pada kategori sedang dengan rata-rata pencapaian prosentase 62,94%, dengan aspek Elementary Clarification yang paling dominan. Namun, kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa masih tergolong kurang dengan capaian rata-rata  35,7%, dengan hasil dominan pada aspek fluency. Faktor-faktor seperti pendekatan pembelajaran, keterlibatan aktif siswa, dan dukungan sumber belajar turut memengaruhi pengembangan kemampuan tersebut. Penelitian ini menyarankan pengintegrasian model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (project-based learning) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa pada materi energi terbarukan.     Allelopathy-based bioherbicides for drought-stressed sorghum plants are a concrete step towards sustainable agriculture. This study aimed to look at the characteristics of seed germination and flavonoid levels of extracts that have experienced various levels of drought stress. Extract materials were prepared from June to August 2024 at Bengkulu University Greenhouse, Kandang Limun, Bengkulu City, and bioassay tests were conducted in August 2024 at Pematang Gubernur, Muara Bangkahulu, Bengkulu City. Flavonoid analysis was performed at the Integrated Research and Testing Laboratory (LPPT) of Gadjah Mada University in August 2024. This research used a completely randomized design (CRD) with one factor. One sorghum variety, Super 2, was planted with water stress treatment through watering patterns every day, every 2 days, every 3 days, every 4 days, and every 5 days. The experimental unit was a petri dish, and the experiment was repeated four times. The Petri dish bioassay method was applied in this experiment. Each petri dish was given 10 mL of aqueous extract, and 25 mung bean seeds were planted and incubated for three days. The results showed that the highest flavonoid levels were achieved by watering every 5 days (3625.00 µg/g) and the lowest every day (3165.26 µg/g). Sprout inhibition occurred due to sorghum water extract treated with watering patterns.Bioherbisida berbasis alelopati tanaman sorgum yang tercekam kekeringan merupakan suatu langkah konkrit pertanian berkelanjutan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat karakteristik perkecambahan benih dan kadar flavonoid dari ekstrak yang telah mengalami berbagai tingkat cekaman kekeringan. Bahan ekstrak disiapkan pada bulan Juni hingga Agustus 2024 di Rumah Kaca Universitas Bengkulu, Kandang Limun, Kota Bengkulu, dan uji bioassay dilakukan pada bulan Agustus 2024 di Pematang Gubernur, Muara Bangkahulu, Kota Bengkulu. Analisis flavonoid dilakukan di Laboratorium Penelitian dan Pengujian Terpadu (LPPT) Universitas Gadjah Mada pada bulan Agustus 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan satu faktor. Satu varietas sorgum yaitu Super 2 ditanam dengan perlakuan cekaman air melalui pola penyiraman setiap hari, 2 hari sekali, 3 hari sekali, 4 hari sekali, dan 5 hari sekali. Unit percobaan berupa cawan petri, dan percobaan diulang sebanyak empat kali. Metode bioassay cawan petri diterapkan dalam percobaan ini. Setiap cawan petri diberi 10 mL ekstrak air, dan 25 biji kacang hijau ditanam dan diinkubasi selama tiga hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kadar flavonoid tertinggi dicapai penyiraman setiap 5 hari sekali (3625,00 µg/g) dan terendah oleh penyiraman setiap hari (3165,26 µg/g). Penghambatan kecambah terjadi akibat ekstrak air sorgum yang telah mengalami perlakuan pola penyiraman.&nbsp

    Pengaruh Perkembangan Kognitif Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Terhadap Kesiapan Sekolah Dasar

    This study aims to measure the influence of cognitive development on school readiness in children aged 5-6 years. The sample for this research was children who sat in kindergarten at height B in the Tanjung Priok area, North Jakarta. Based on the results of research conducted at 18 PAUD institutions by taking data from 152 students. This research was conducted using a quantitative correlational method using Spearman's rank correlation coefficient to determine the influence of the variables cognitive development (Y) and school readiness (x). Cognitive development has a positive effect on the development of school readiness. The contribution of the results of this research can be used as a reading source and reference for teachers, parents and the community in providing stimulation for elementary school readiness so that it has a positive impact on academic achievement.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh perkembangan kognitif terhadap kesiapan sekolah pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Sampel penelitian ini adalah anak-anak yang duduk di bangku taman kanak-kanak ketinggian B di kawasan Tanjung Priok, Jakarta Utara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada 18 lembaga PAUD dengan mengambil data dari 152 peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional menggunakan koefisien korelasi rank Spearman untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari antara variabel perkembangan kognitif (Y) dan kesiapan sekolah (x) perkembangan kognitif berpengaruh positif terhadap perkembangan kesiapan sekolah. Kontribusi dari hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sumber bacaan dan referensi bagi guru, orang tua dan masyarakat dalam memberikan stimulasi kesiapan sekolah dasar sehingga berdampak positif terhadap prestasi akademik
