Pengembangan Pengembangan Buku Ajar Menulis Teks Deskripsi Berbasis Pedagogi Genre untuk Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 22 Kota Bengkulu

Buku ajar menulis teks deskripsi yang ada belum melatih siswa menulis teks deskripsi sesuai harapan kurikulum Merdeka. Maka, perlu dikembangkan buku ajar menulis teks deskripsi berbasis pedagogi genre. Untuk itu, tujuan penelitian ini mengembangkan buku ajar menulis teks deskripsi berbasis pedagogi genre pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 22 Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, wawancara, angket, observasi, dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji kelayakan dan uji N-gain (g). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar menulis teks deskripsi berbasis pedagogi genre layak dan efektif digunakan oleh siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil kelayakan dari segi materi, bahasa, dan desain. Kemudian dari hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan buku ajar menulis teks deskripsi berbasis pedagogi genre mampu meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks deskripsi dari nilai rata-rata pretes 59,4 menjadi 80. Buku ajar menulis teks deskripsi berbasis pedagogi genre memiliki 4 langkah, sistematika dimulai dari membangun konteks menulis teks deskripsi, pemodelan, mengkonstruksi teks deskripsi bersama, dan mengkonstruksi teks deskripsi secara mandiri.

Abstract
Existing textbooks for writing descriptive texts have not trained students to write descriptive texts according to the expectations of the Merdeka curriculum. So, it is necessary to develop a textbook for writing descriptive texts based on genre pedagogy. For this reason, the aim of this research is to develop a textbook for writing descriptive texts based on genre pedagogy for class VII students at SMP Negeri 22 Bengkulu City. This research is a type of ADDIE research. Data collection techniques use documentation, interviews, questionnaires, observations and tests. Data analysis techniques use feasibility tests and N-gain (g) tests. The results of the research show that textbooks for writing descriptive texts based on genre pedagogy are feasible and effective for use by students. This is proven by the feasibility results in terms of material, language and design. Then, the results of the effectiveness test show that the textbook for writing descriptive text based on genre pedagogy is able to increase the ability to write descriptive text from an average pre-test score of 59.4 to 80. The textbook for writing descriptive text based on genre pedagogy has 4 steps, systematically starting from building the context for writing descriptive text, modeling, constructing descriptive text together, and constructing descriptive text independently.

Peran Guru Dalam Membentuk Karakter Tanggung Jawab Melalui Pembelajaran Tematik PPKN Siswa Kelas Va
Get PDFThis research endeavors to elucidate the influence of educators in cultivating a sense of responsibility through thematic learning incorporating PPKn for students in class VA at Elementary School 41 Bengkulu City. The nature of this investigation is descriptive qualitative. The focus of inquiry is the teacher of class VA. Tools for this study include observation and interview protocols. Data acquisition methods involve observing and conducting interviews. The gathered information was evaluated through the processes of data collection, data refinement, data visualization, and conclusion formulation/validation. This study centers on two key functions of the teacher in developing responsible character: the teacher as a motivator and as a facilitator. Findings indicate that the educator's role as a motivator involves providing encouragement and guidance to students while delivering lessons. As a facilitator, the teacher fosters an engaging environment and supplies resources in the form of learning media and instructional materials. The study concludes that the VA class teacher successfully fulfills their role as both a motivator and facilitator in nurturing responsible character at State Elementary School 41 Bengkulu City
Pengaruh Model Two Stay Two Stray Terhadap Hasil Belajar Bahasa Indonesia Kelas V SDN Gugus XI
Get PDFThe objective of this research is to explore how the cooperative learning approach known as "Two Stay Two Stray" affects the academic performance of fifth-grade students in Cluster XI Elementary Schools regarding their Indonesian language proficiency. This investigation employs a matched pretest-posttest control group design. The study encompassed all fifth-grade students attending SDN Cluster XI in Bengkulu City as its population. The experimental group consisted of fifth-grade students from SDN 44 Kota Bengkulu, while the control group comprised fifth-grade students from SDN 55 Kota Bengkulu. Data collection involved pretest and posttest assessments using objective test instruments. Descriptive statistics and inferential analysis, specifically the t-test, were employed for data analysis. The findings revealed a significant contrast in posttest scores between the experimental and control groups, as evidenced by the t-value (2.263), which surpassed the critical t-value (1.697). It may be concluded that the "Two Stay Two Stray" cooperative learning approach had an effect on the Indonesian language learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN Cluster XI in Bengkulu City by rejecting the null hypothesis (H0) and adopting the alternative hypothesis (Ha). Pengembangan Infrastruktur Jaringan Internet Pada Objek Wisata Suban Lesung Untuk Meningkatkan Kegiatan Promosi Bagi Pengelola Wisata
Get PDFPermasalahan utama yang dialami oleh oleh pengelola objek wisata Suban Lesung adalah terkait dengan jaringan internet. Pengelola wisata serta wisatawan mengeluhkan seringnya terjadi permasalahan dalam mengakses jaringan internet diantaranya sinyal yang diterima tidak stabil, akses data yang sulit tersambung, hingga kegagalan koneksi. Permasalahan diatas menjadi salah satu penyebab kurang maksimalnya animo masyarakat untuk berkunjung ke objek wisata Suban Lesung. Adapun detail dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Persiapan kegiatan. (2) Pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan (3) Pembuatan Laporan. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk melakukan transfer pengetahuan dan teknologi tentang pengembangan dan pemanfaatan infrastruktur jaringan internet melalui kegiatan pengabdian sehingga dapat meningkatkan animo wisatawan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan infrastruktur jaringan internet pada lokasi wisata Suban Lesung berhasil dilakukan. Dengan infrasturktur jaringan internet yang memadai, diharapkan juga dapat meningkatkan animo wisatawan untuk berkunjung ke objek wisata. STRATEGY TO INCREASE THE CLASS OF FARMER GROUPS IN BERMANI ILIR DISTRICT, KEPAHIANG REGENCY
Get PDFThe strategy of upgrading the class of farmer groups can include various components, such as member skill development, increasing agricultural production, effective financial management, marketing of crops, and risk management with the aim of improving the welfare and independence of farmer groups. Thus, farmer groups will be more productive and competitive in marketing their crops and carrying out their agricultural activities in a sustainable manner. Bermani Ilir District, Kepahiang Regency has a farmer group with the status of a beginner class as a whole, thus there is a need for a strategy to improve the class. This study was conducted in Bermani Ilir District with 9 expert respondents, 57 farmer group administrators and 57 farmer group members who were analyzed using SWOT. Based on the results obtained, the strategy for increasing the group class is in the WO strategy, namely by taking advantage of opportunities to minimize weaknesses. The results of the priority strategy obtained using QSPM analysis are that it was found that Improving Training and Administrative Management to Utilize Fertilizer Subsidies, infrastructure and land protection policies are strategies with the first priority as a strategy to increase the class of farmer groups in Bermani Ilir District, Kepahiang Regency
Potential Biomass and Carbon Storage of Casuarina equisetifolia L. Stands in the Bengkulu City Conservation Area
Get PDFCoastal She-Oak (Casuarina equisetifolia L) is a pioneer tree species that forms coastal forests in Bengkulu City and plays an important role in the carbon dynamics cycle. The aim of this study was to calculate the biomass potential and carbon storage in sea pine stands within a conservation area, namely Taman Wisata Alam Pantai Panjang dan Pulau Baai. Data collection was conducted from January 2014 to April 2014 using a non-destructive method. The allometric equation used for sea pine was ln Y = -2.177 + 2.523 × (ln DBH) (Dudley & Fownes, 1992). A total of 20 measurement plots were used, each measuring 20m × 20m and systematically placed. The results showed that the biomass of sea pine stands in this area was 9.3 ± 0.04 tons/ha, with a total biomass of 195.6 ± 0.9 tons. Meanwhile, the carbon storage was 4.3 ± 0.9 tons C/ha, and the carbon dioxide sequestration was 15.7 ± 3.15 tons CO₂/ha. Trees with a diameter above 40 cm had the lowest density, but they stored the largest amount of carbon in this area.

Integrating Contextual Learning Model and Outcome-Based Education in EFL Classroom of Higher Education
Get PDFIntegrating CTL and OBE in teaching English as a foreign language is possible to apply in the university context since both approaches are based on a student-centered approach and focus on outcomes as authentic assessment. This research was conducted to find out the implementation of integrating CTL and OBE in the English Morphology class. The students of the 3rd semester acted as the subject of the research. The implementation of CTL in the teaching and learning process included the components of constructivism, inquiry, asking, learning community, reflection, and authentic assessment. The OBE result was based on students' projects, which were measured by observing students' knowledge and performance through presentation. The result revealed that integrating CTL and OBE in English Morphology class consequently eases the students to comprehend the concept of morphology as realized from the student project. It can be concluded that integrating CTL and OBE in teaching theoretical subjects in a higher education EFL context affects the students positively. Further research with different approaches to the research is suggested to be conducted.

The Enduring Adaptations and Cultural Impact of The Novel “Little Women”

The key work in the issue of women's rights, individuality, and sisterly love in the 19th century, Louisa May Alcott's Little Women (1868–1869), follows three sisters' following their dreams while facing societal norms during the Civil War: Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy. The novel critiques strict gender roles via Jo March, who challenges norms by becoming a writer, highlighting Alcott's feminist view. This paper examines Little Women’s relevance today through adaptations, particularly Greta Gerwig's 2019 film, reflecting current cultural values. Thematic shifts in the approaches to feminism, family, and social norms are discussed in the paper. Each adaptation represents its sociohistorical context, from conservatism in the 1933 film to the feminist critique so bodily expressed by Gerwig. The conclusion confirms the status of Little Women as an active cultural reference of continuous debates on women's independence, equity, and identity. Alcott's story about how one sisterly family struggles through to success and self-determination really denotes an emerging feminist discourse. Little Women is such an important document in helping to shape emerging feminist discussions that it manages to be a part of both literature and culture

Melalui tinjauan literatur komprehensif, penelitian ini menganalisis infrastruktur, sumber daya manusia, integrasi teknologi, dan kerangka kebijakan yang diperlukan untuk mempersiapkan laboratorium universitas menghadapi tuntutan era digital. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa meskipun ada kemajuan dalam beberapa aspek, masih terdapat kesenjangan signifikan dalam kesiapan laboratorium di Indonesia dibandingkan dengan standar internasional. Rekomendasi diberikan untuk meningkatkan infrastruktur, mengembangkan sumber daya manusia, dan menyesuaikan kebijakan guna memastikan laboratorium perguruan tinggi Indonesia dapat bersaing di era Revolusi Industri 5.0
