An Examination Of The Efficiency Of Cassava Marketing In East Lampung Regency, Lampung Province, Indonesia
Cassava is a strategic commodity that has an influence on the stability of food security and drives industries from small to large scale and from upstream to downstream. Despite the potential and opportunities for developing cassava commodities in Lampung Province, the problems and challenges, especially those related to cassava marketing, are still relatively large. This research was conducted in Labuhan Ratu VI Village, Labuhan Ratu District, East Lampung Regency, Lampung Province in October 2020 - July 2021. The sampling method used was the snowball method. The snowball method is very appropriate to use in research on the topic of trade because it provides a complete description of the characteristics and conditions of marketing channels, the existing conditions of marketing institutions, and the effectiveness of existing trade channels. The research was conducted employing a survey method, and by simple random sampling involving 147 respondents of cassava farmers. The results revealed that cassava marketing consists of 2 channels. Farmer share channel I and II respectively 74% and 86%, while the marketing efficiency value (EP) marketing channel I and II respectively 13.04 % and 10.35%. These results show that marketing channel II is more efficient than marketing channel I because it has a high farmer share and marketing efficiency with a small percentage. This is because in marketing channel II farmers directly sell their cassava to the factory and marketing costs are low. Therefore, farmers are advised to market their products through marketing channel II

This research aimed to determine the relationship between chest circumference, body length, body weight and daily gain in Crossbreed Dorper sheep. The samples used were 15 male F1 Dorper sheep and 15 female F1 Dorper sheep, aged 3.5 – 4 months, with an average weight of 30.88 ±0.847kg. The survey study was conducted using a random sampling method. The variables measured were chest circumference, body length, weight, and daily gain. The results of the study show that: (1) the regression equation for chest circumference on body weight Y = 0.77+0.64 CC for Rams and Y = 2.35+0.57 CC for Ewes, (2) the regression equation for body length on body weight Y = -30.27+1.12 BL for rams and Y = -16.59+0.80 BL for ewes, (3) multiple regression equation of chest circumference and body length on body weight Y = 7, 94+ 0.75 CC - 0.21 BL for rams and Y = -4.47+0.45 CC+0.22 CC for ewes. The correlation coefficient (r) is close to +1.0, indicating that the relationship between the two variables is powerful and positive. It was concluded that the chest circumference and body length have a solid positive relationship with body weight. The body weight of Crossbreed Dorper sheep can be predicted accurately using chest circumference and body length. However, the daily gain of Crossbreed Dorper sheep cannot be estimated using chest circumference and body length because the coefficient of determination is low.
Foundation is a structural element that functions as a support for the construction loads above it. These loads are transmitted to the soil, so the depth of the foundation must reach the depth of hard soil; therefore, the determination of the depth and type of foundation used must be based on soil investigation conducted during the bridge construction planning phase. The Kikuba bridge project is planned to use pile foundations with a depth of 5 meters. After conducting soil investigation using drilling equipment, the N-SPT 60 results for Abutment-1 were obtained at an average depth of 19 meters, rendering pile foundations unsuitable. The accuracy of selecting the type of foundation used depends greatly on the depth of hard soil. The Kikuba bridge construction project encountered an average depth of hard soil at 19 meters, thus necessitating an analysis to change the design from pile foundations to bore pile foundations, while meeting the technical requirements of the foundation and analyzing using the Meyerhoof method

The Role of Machine Learning Algorithms in Shaping the Hedonic Treadmill from the Perspective of Mental Accounting
The development of subscription-based video streaming services has transformed the way humans consume entertainment by granting users the freedom to watch any film, anytime, and anywhere. The presence of such services has become the biggest disruptor to conventional television stations, DVD producers, and even cinema services. Film consumption behaviors have undergone a shift triggered by the Covid-19 pandemic. Individuals have become accustomed to enjoying films from the comfort of their homes or their familiar surroundings, rather than having to travel far or purchase and store DVD discs. The streaming service business has skyrocketed and amassed a large number of subscribers. This reality indicates a change in the consumer decision-making patterns for video streaming services. Streaming services are perceived to provide more advantages or benefits compared to cost or sacrifices. In accounting studies, this phenomenon is referred to as mental accounting. Thus far, there have been few scientific studies attempting to address the topic of mental accounting in the video streaming service industry, particularly in relation to framing strategies and the creation of hedonic treadmills built from machine learning algorithms. This research aims to explain how successful video streaming service businesses create hedonic treadmill conditions for their customers, binding them to addiction. This study employs a qualitative method with an interpretative approach to video streaming services to design a conceptual model of how video streaming service businesses' machine learning algorithms create hedonic treadmills for their customers. The research findings indicate that machine learning algorithms can play a role in creating hedonic treadmills through the creation of five relevant values: compatibility, variability, originality, personalization, and flexibility through recommendation and prediction systems
