Smart Garment Creating New Clothing Function : Development of Wearable Social Distancing Keeper
Get PDFIn addition to physical attributes including clothes, pitch, and tone of voice, haptic interaction such as a handshake or a hug plays a significant role in nonverbal communication. The COVID-19 pandemic requires us to maintain social distancing and avoid physical in order to prevent infection. This “new normal” may be a factor that inhibits smooth communication. This study describes the design of a system and fashion for a smart garment that realizes remote haptic communication to help the wearer maintain social distancing. A prototype system designed by assembling a pneumatic actuator and non-contact distance sensors was developed for remote haptic communication. This system was applied to a wearable social distancing keeper that notifies the wearer of the distance between them and another person at the back, which is visually difficult to check. In this wearable social distancing keeper, slow inflation and deflation of the pneumatic actuator gives a secure feeling when the distance between the wearer and the people behind them is long. In contrast, fast inflation and deflation of the pneumatic actuator alerts the wearer if the distance between them and the people behind them is short. Clothing Materials of Shibusawa Eiichi and his Wife, Chiyoko : Clothing as Historical Materials
Get PDFKyoritsu Women's University Museum has a fur cloak belonging to Shibusawa Eiichi and two kimonos belonging to Chiyoko. In addition to examining the date and use of these garments, this paper discusses the concept of clothing of Mr. and Mrs. Eiichi Shibusawa based on the historical documents and the artworks in the museum's collection. The fur cloak was made and worn during the early Meiji period, when the wearing of fur clothing was permitted, and is thought to be a garment that incorporated Shibusawa's flexible thinking due to its haori-like tailoring. As for Chiyoko's kimono, it was worn in the 1877s, before her illness and death, and it reflects her solid character, as it is typical of the rat-red hem patterned kimono that was popular in the early and mid-Meiji period. These materials are not only valuable as works of art, but are also considered to be historical materials that provide a clearer portrait of the modern historical figures.departmental bulletin pape
An Educational Method for Nursing Processes Utilizing ICT
Get PDF本報告は2021年度の看護過程展開論（以下、本科目）における新しい授業方法を試みた総括である。本科目では、本学に導入されているICT（information and communication technology：情報通信技術）システムを教授・学習方略に活用し、2021年度は在宅でのオンライン受講と従来の対面式授業を組み合わせたハイブリッド授業で模擬電子カルテを使用しグループワークを実施した。
これまで本科目では、紙上事例を紙媒体で配布し情報収集を行っていたが、2021年度に電子カルテを導入したことにより、いつでもどこからでも情報収集をすることが可能になった。ICTを活用したハイブリッド授業では学習内容が常に共有できるGoogleスプレッドシートを使用することで、同じシートに同時に記入することが可能になりグループワークがスムーズに進んだ。また、教員はリアルタイムで進捗を確認できることや、シートはGoogleドライブ内に保存されているため復習や自己学習にも役立ち、効果的にグループワークが実施できたと考える。departmental bulletin pape
Effects of an Educational Program Incorporating Telenursing in Adult Nursing Practice : According to Studentsʼ Self-Evaluation of the Implementation of the Patient Educational Plan
Get PDF目的：成人看護学実習にテレナーシングを導入した教育プログラムの効果を学生の自己評価から検討する。
方法：成人看護学実習Ⅱを履修した学生100名に患者教育プランの実施状況や認識をweb調査した。量的データは記述統計を用い、自由記載は質的記述的に分析した。
結果：56名から回答を得た（回収率56.0％）。85.7%の学生が自作のパンフレットを使用し、87.5％がプランを計画通りにでき、84.0％が看護師役に満足していた。実施に対する認識は【患者のセルフケアを促して続けるための工夫】や【相手のペースに合わせて指導を展開しようとする試み】、【画面越しの患者の状態観察の難しさ】等12カテゴリーが抽出された。
考察：学生はテレナーシングにおけるコミュニケーション技法を学ぶ機会となり、患者の行動変容を意識したプランを実施できた。このことから、本教育プログラムは成人看護学実習での教育方法としての有用性が示唆された。
Objective: This study aimed to examine the effects of an educational program that introduced telenursing to adult nursing practice by students’ self-evaluation.
Method: We conducted a web survey on the implementation and perceptions of telenursing among 100 nursing students who had taken Adult Nursing Practice II. We analyzed quantitative data and free text using descriptive statistics and qualitative descriptive methods, respectively.
Result: Of the 56 respondents, 85.7% used self-made pamphlets as learning materials, 87.5% could follow the educational plan as planned, and 84.0% were satisfied with the nurse role. We extracted 12 categories of perceptions of telenursing, including “attempts to encourage and continue self-care among patients,” “attempts to develop teaching at the pace of the other person,” and “difficulties in observing the patient’s condition through a screen.”
Discussion: The students had an opportunity to learn communication techniques in telenursing and were able to implement a plan with an awareness of patients’ behavioral changes. Visualization of Victims’ Information for a Major Tokyo Inland Earthquake : Focusing on the Disaster Base Hospitals of Ohta-ku
Get PDF本研究では首都直下地震発生時に災害関連死を減らすことを目指して、東京都防災対策会議が示した「首都直下地震による大田区の被害想定」を基に、大田区の災害拠点病院が管轄する地域における傷病者数を算出し、地図上に可視化したうえで、災害拠点病院の課題を明らかにした。5つの災害拠点病院に地震発生後来院する可能性のある重傷者を試算した結果、最大1,855人と予測され、その重傷化率は都内最悪で、平常時の病床数の72％にも及ぶことが示された。地理上の理由から許容範囲を超えた傷病者が来院する可能性のある病院もあり、災害拠点病院では平常時からBCPを整備するとともに、各災害拠点病院間で連携し、災害に備える必要性が示唆された。departmental bulletin pape
