Abstract Nouns in Copular Sentences
Get PDFIn this research note, the following points regarding abstract nouns in copular sentences were confirmed based on previous studies. The abstract nouns mentioned here are nouns that can be accompanied by content clauses. There are at least two types of abstract nouns used in copular sentences. One is that the predicate must be “-kotoda” and the other is that the predicate cannot be “-kotoda”. The former abstract nouns can make specificational sentences. Since these abstract nouns can make specificational sentences, they can be the subject or predicate of copular sentences. The latter abstract nouns cannot make specificational sentences, but the content of the abstract nouns can be expressed by the predicate “-toiumonoda”. There are some abstract nouns that can be the predicate after “ga”, even though it is not possible to make specificational sentences as the subject. Previous studies have analyzed sentences containing this special type of abstract nouns from the perspective of discourse function, but other possibilities should be considered.departmental bulletin pape
An Analysis of Prostate Cancer Patients' Narratives of Health and Illness : Focusing on Spirituality
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to clarify the spirituality of prostate cancer patients using the interview data "Narratives of Prostate Cancer" from DIPEx-Japan. For the analysis, we used text mining methods, especially the original text reference function, to extract relevant word expressions. The following words were selected: negative emotion, root/relationship, humanity, male function, God and Buddha, nature/universe, and view of life and death. By analyzing the health and illness narratives of prostate cancer patients, it was confirmed that the function of spirituality is to review and change the values, views of life and death that existed before the onset of the disease. We believe that understanding how patients review their values, views of life and death will provide an opportunity for supporters to derive elements for intervention.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDF看護学部において、先輩である2年生が後輩である新入生を支援する「エルダー活動」を、1年前期に履修する科目「基礎ゼミナール」において導入し、その実践と期待される効果、今後の構想を報告した。本活動の目的は、新入生が早期に大学生活に慣れ、有意義な学生生活を送れるように支援すること、新入生への学習支援および在学生のリーダーシップ向上の一方法として導入し、双方の学力向上を目指すこと、共立女子大学看護学部の特色のひとつとなるような仕組みづくりを目指すこと、である。本活動の効果は、エルダー、学習者双方のほかに、コーディネイトする教員、学部にとってももたらされるものと期待される。課題として、エルダーの雇用、募集に関すること、エルダーの質の担保のための方法の整備、活動のルール作り、などが考えられた。departmental bulletin pape

Status and Related Factors of Support for Community-based Activities of Nursing Staff at Community General Support Centers in Tokyo Special Wards
Get PDF目的：東京23区の地域包括支援センター（以下、「包括」）の看護職による「通いの場」の支援状況と支援に関連する因子について明らかにすることを目的とした。
方法：東京23区内にある包括304カ所に勤務し、「通いの場」の支援を行っている看護職を対象として、無記名自記式質問紙調査を実施した。
結果：支援状況について、「核となる住民との協力関係をつくる」は実施割合が7割強と高く、「立ち上げを支援する」「核となる住民を育成する」は4割強と他項目と比べて実施割合が低かった。支援状況の関連因子について重回帰分析を実施した結果、支援期間、包括看護職のコンピテンシー、住民・民間組織との連携状況の3項目が支援状況に有意に関連することが示された。
考察：支援状況の関連因子の分析から、住民・民間組織との連携強化と包括看護職のコンピテンシーの強化が「通いの場」の立ち上げ、普及に資する可能性が示唆された。
Objective: This study aimed to clarify the status and related factors of support for community-based activities by nursing staff of community general support centers in Tokyo special wards.
Methods: An anonymous self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted among nursing staff who provided community-based activities at 304 community general support centers in Tokyo special wards.
Results: With regard to the status of support for community-based activities, the percentages of nurses who reported “building cooperative relationships with key individuals among residents” and “supporting the management system to promote participation” were both higher than others and exceeded 70％. The percentages of nurses who reported “supporting the launch” and “fostering leadership of key persons among residents” were lower than others and was about 40%. A multiple regression analysis of factors related to support status revealed that three factors had a highly significant association with support status : support period, competency of nursing staff at the community general support center, and level of cooperation with residents and local organizations.
Discussion: Results of the analysis of factors related to support status suggested that strengthening cooperation with residents and local organizations may contribute to the development and spread of community-based activities.departmental bulletin pape

A study from the historical perspective of textile and clothing on pre-modern and modern children's clothing
Get PDFThis research chronologically traces the tailoring, design, and technical characteristics found in children's clothing from the Momoyama period, when existing products were first found, to the Edo period, and then to the Meiji period. The purpose is to clarify the relationship with the historical events of dyeing and weaving.
In this paper as a research result, we report what I learned from research on children's clothing from the Momoyama period to the early Showa period.
First, it was found that the decoration techniques and designs of children's clothing during the Momoyama period were not significantly different from those of adult clothing, with some exceptions. In the world of the feudal system centered on the samurai family, whether or not the inheritance of the family by boys was smooth was greatly related to the security of the family or the ups and downs of family luck. Reflecting this, in the Edo period, in most cases, one or four samurai boys had auspicious patterns, horses, dogs, and tigers that reminded them of their energy, in prayer for their safe growth. .. On the other hand, the patterns on girls' kimonos generally have plant motifs, which is not much different from that of adult women.
However, when children's clothing is viewed historically from existing relics, the influence of Western advanced culture on the Meiji Restoration is greater than that of adult clothing. Because the children are physically more vulnerable than an adult, they are strongly influenced by advanced medicine and the improvement of living environment, and it is no longer necessary to demand magical effects from clothes.departmental bulletin pape
