A Study on Coloring Book and Color Education
Get PDFToday, "coloring books" are widely used as toys that can be enjoyed by all generations. In the Meiji era, coloring books were originally used as teaching materials for drawing education. However, since the 1940s, many negative opinions have been expressed about coloring books. For the reason, coloring books are now rarely used in educational settings. I worked on this study with the aim of organizing historical information about coloring books and education and reassessing the educational value of coloring books. As a result of my research, I thought it was important to think of educational methods to make effective use of the properties of coloring books.
