Study on apoptosis (8) Effect of food processing on the apoptoic cells in mice
Get PDFThe present study was evaluated the effects of food on an alcohol-induced apoptosis for the food processing in mice. Ethanol has long been implicated in triggering apoptotic cells in immune system. Ethanol was also damaged to the liver in order to metabolize some alcohol to H2O and CO2. The most effective inhibition from the induction of apoptosis in spleen lymphocytes and liver cells treated with an ethanol were observed in tomatoes and onions among eight food materials. Design a topographical map where the ODA Nobunaga's pavilion had built
Get PDFIn the daily life, we acquire quite a lot of information by the sight. The visual information is very important for us. When we take communications with the third party, we might visualize information to pass on information plainly. Visualization is very effective to understand information enough. And visualization is effective in various fields. Especially, I think that the visualization of the historical objects lost now is especially significant. If the historical objects that had been imagined from textual information up to now can be visualized, we can understand information quickly and deeply. And, the fact might lead to the development of research activities. I was involved in the project of investigation about the pavilion built by ODA Nobunaga. And, I designed a topographical map where the pavilion had built. A consideration of the concept of hegemony in terms of critical discourse analysis focusing on intertextuality and assumptions
Get PDFThe methodology of critical discourse analysis (CDA) in terms of `orientation to difference', i.e., `dialogicality' based on M. Bakhtin's theory is referred to in Analaysing Discourse(2003) written by N. Fairclough, one of the leading theorists in CDA. CDA generally attempts to extract presupposition mainly from news texts by analyzing the way words or phrases are chosen or represented. Referring to the scale of dialogicality, which Fairclough proposed, we attempt to describe how the concept of hegemony is correlated to the production of actual news texts from the social background. The extent of orientation to difference is classified into five phases by drawing upon a notion that any text, even in monologue, assumes intertextuality. The current study examines a recent news text about the controversies of hunting dolphins of Taiji Town, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. Research on the lifestyle of women college students: exercise and the life status
Get PDFThe object of this study was an association between exercise and life status. Physical activity measured of total energy expenditure (TEE), exercise and the number of step by life coda EX, a total of 18 women college students (age 19-20 years old) . The exercise, TEE, 1830±159 kcal and the number of step taken were 8939±2492 steps. It was only life status that the relation was admitted by the number of daily interest and the life status. Students living at home were exceeded students renting rooms in the number of steps taken daily, the difference was statistically significant. In other words, life status has an effect on the number of taken daily.The object of this study was an association between exercise and life status. N. Fairclough's concept of discourse in terms of articulation theory
Get PDFThe purpose of this paper is to discuss the concept of DISCOURSE in N. Fairclough's analytical framework of Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) from a viewpoint of Articulation Theory. The theory originated from the tradition of Cultural Studies, offering CDA scholars rich resources of thought through which we could enlarge the scope of the object we deal with when engaged in a study of CDA. This study leads to the conclusion that if we quote useful ideas of sociology in which many scholars have devoted to the consideration of social events in terms of power relations, more attention should be drawn to discussions in the disciplines of sociology and philosophy as well as in the disciplines categorized as linguistics, sociolinguistics, text linguistics.The purpose of this paper is to discuss the concept of DISCOURSE in N. This research aims to propose the education method to improve basic knowledge concerning structural design intended for the student at a dwelling system junior college. A current research on structural education is summarized, and the student's at junior college consideration investigation is done by executing the questionnaire.
