Relation between "hie-sho"(cold feeling) and physical activity
Get PDFThe aim of this study is to investigate that physical activity is effective for prevention or improvement of "hie-sho". Patients of "hie-sho" (cold feeling) feel severe cold on some part of their bodies, for example, hands, feet, legs, or/and waists. We studied the physical activity of young women (n=68) by accelerometers, at the same time of study of sleep, degree of hie-sho, and body constitution by questionnaire. The samples were divided into 2 groups according to the self-recognition of hie-sho. There was not significant difference between physical activities of the two groups. Neither was between on bed time. The group of hie-sho was thinner than the other group. Physical activity in both groups was less than the value recommended by the Ministry of Health and Labor. The report about the exhibition"weaving and dyeing" of the Kasamatsu town organization anniversary project
Get PDFThis year, Kasamatsu town in Gifu pref. has become 120 years old as an organization. As one of the commemorative events, the exhibition of "weaving and dyeing "was held. At the commemorative event, the exhibition, 34 dyeing works of mine were exhibited. The content of the work is as follows. I dyed the fabrics, which were weaved with a Jacquard textile machine and had 17 typical landscapes showing the history of Kasamatsu town for these 120 years, in 11 different plant dyeing stuff. I had 5 policys to dye these works. This exhibition was carried out from October 6 to November 29. During two months, many people visited to watch them and they praised . The lecture, whose the title is 「Kasamatsu wo Sasaeta minoshima stripes」 was given. As a result, people in Kasamatsu town seemed to understand "Weaving and Dyeing"and "Minosima stripes" deeply.This year, Kasamatsu town in Gifu pref. has become 120 years old as an organization. A suggestion on education method of buildings structures in department of dwelling system of junior colleges
Get PDFRecently, the ideal way of an architectural and structural education poses a problem. The field of the theory of structures is making the basis of structural education. On the other side there are many students with consciousness weak. Up to now, many discussions have been performed. This research aims to propose the education method to improve basic knowledge concerning structural design intended for the student at a dwelling system junior college. This paper proposes the new education method of building structures and shows the effectivity.Recently, the ideal way of an architectural and structural education poses a problem. The report about the enlightening activity of apparel and design technology for next generation layer: 2008 fashion show of the future designers in Gifu
Get PDFThe aim of this research was cultivated fashion technology and skill of 17 school students (high school. University, college special school). For this, Fashion Design Conferences were held four times. To produce fashion products, 10 types of different fabrics were distributed. This year's theme is "The Source ~ ORIGIN". This show gained the supports and sponsor many organizations. 89 works were produced. The results of the research were demonstrated in the fashion show at Gifu City Culture and Industry Center on 3 August 2008. Posters, flyers, and audio etc. were made mainly by the students. Many citizens, and students watched this fashion show, this show succeeded. After this show, the significance of its fashion show was evaluated in order to validate the results of this project through the questionnaires to 17 educational institution. Cooking habits and skills among college students majoring in Food and Nutrition and Home Economics Education: comparing cooking habits and skills before and after taking cooking practices
Get PDFA questionnaire survey was conducted among college students majoring in Food and Nutrition and Home Economics Education with the purpose of investigating how much their understanding about cooking habits and skills had improved with a semester cooking practices. Comparison of the results before and after the cooking practices showed the following educational effects: students were cooking more often and more students had their specialties than before; the number of students who did not know how to make soup stock other than instant one dropped and students acquired Japanese traditional method to make soup stock; the number of students who could prepare fish increased while the number of those who could not decreased; as to fish preparation, students learned the words zeigo (hard scales at the joint of the tail of mackerels) and chiai (dark muscle); a high percentage of students acquired basic techniques to cut food into rounds (wagiri), small pieces from its edge (koguchigiri) and quarter rounds (ichohgiri).A questionnaire survey was conducted among college students majoring in Food and Nutrition and Home Economics Education with the purpose of investigating how much their understanding about cooking habits and skills had improved with a semester cooking practices. The image of a gentleman in Great Expectations
No full textTraditionally, a gentleman is a man from a high social class, especially one who does not need to work. A man of good social position, especially one of wealth and leisure is regarded as good-natured and respectable in Dickens's earlier novels. In the course of time, this kind of image of a gentleman gradually transforms into another image.What type of person is an ideal gentleman? This question is central in Dickens's later novel, Great Expectations (1860-61). At first, Pip, one of the main characters, tends to think that the genteel birth, money, and social position make the gentleman. The aim of this paper is to make clear the measurements of the true gentleman implied in Great Expectations, with special reference to Pip.Traditionally, a gentleman is a man from a high social class, especially one who does not need to work. The legend of Kamidakesan in the Iki island (2)
No full textThe purpose of this paper is to study the following three problems about the history book on Kamidakesan temple now kept in Konzoji temple. First, I researched the meaning of the words on the history book " Sobyo", "Rokusya-Gongen", "Kitayamadono" and "Rokuno-Gozen". Secondly, I considered legends, traditional events, and branch temples of Kamidakesan temples. Thirdly, I considered description of Jinkoji temple on the history book. As a result, it was pointed out that religious situation -syncretization of Shinto with Buddhism- in Iki island at Edo period influenced the legend of Kamidakesan-temple.The purpose of this paper is to study the following three problems about the history book on Kamidakesan temple now kept in Konzoji temple.
