"Hi-e" -cold feeling- of citizens
Get PDF"Hi-e" (cold feeling ) was analyzed among women above13 years-old in G-city. 200 sets of questionnaire were delivered by hand or posting to each home and 107 sets were answered by mail or by hand. 91 answers were analyzed. People suffering from "hi-e" is named "group Y" and other is named "group N". Half of young generation (13-39 years-old), ?40% of middle generation (40-59 years old), and ?10% of old generation (more than 59 years-old) were grouped into Y. Group Y was significantly leaner than group N in middle generation. 30% of group Y complained of not only cold feeling but also pain in some parts of the body. Suffering duration was more than 3 month in 2/3 of group Y. Historical changes of the plane in the modern era
Get PDFIn this article, the following points were shown about the historical change from the single iron plane to the double iron plane based on literature, archival photographs and actual samples.(1)The cap iron of a double iron plane with a hole in a fixed position is a re-utilized tobacco mincing blade. (2)In the early Meiji period when the western plane was imported, the construction and working of the double iron plane based on the western plane had been elucidated. (3)The double iron plane already existed in the middle Meiji period as a plane for handicraft. Study on the environmental regeneration of a woodland pasture with a hoof cultivation by using large-scale domestic animals
Get PDFThe aim of this study tries to introduce the woodland pasture by a new aspect, and to search for the creating environment of the hometown mountain and the technique of management. Systematic Approach for Evaluation System in Haiku Work
No full textIn order to enhance students' creative and communicative abilities, the authors have been searching ways in which haiku (traditional Japanese short poems) can be effectively used to teach communication activities in a college class. We composed the systematic evaluation system in haiku on the Exel file of MS Office. In this paper, we discuss how to make evaluation system in haiku, and how to strengthen student's proficiency of expressing their ideas and opinions through developing instructional effect and efficiency.In order to enhance students' creative and communicative abilities, the authors have been searching ways in which haiku (traditional Japanese short poems) can be effectively used to teach communication activities in a college class. Evaluation by young adults of "Popeye Daisuki Cookies" made at Gifu City Women's College
Get PDFHealthy cookies named "Popeye Daisuki Cookies" were made at Gifu City Women's College and an investigation was carried out to find people's reactions toward these cookies at the college campus festival (Tōrinsai). In the survey, nearly 93% of the people who tried the cookies were satisfied with their taste, and nearly 58% were satisfied with the texture. Optimal policy of a replication scheme considering the number of data update
Get PDFThis paper considers the problem of reliability in a server system with replication considering the number of data update. Our previous paper have formulated a model of a server system with replication that the server transmits the database content to a backup site after the number of times data update in a main site. In this paper, we derive the probability of migrating routine work to the backup site and the probability of the system down. Further, we calculate the cost effectiveness and discuss an optimal replication interval to minimize it.
