VI design of sportswear brand "Razzoli" by the industry-academia cooperation project
For the future of higher education institutions, the promotion of industry-academia cooperation project is very important. The industry-academia cooperation project leads to regional and social contribution. Therefore, we had tackled many industry-academia cooperation projects as a designer. This time, we worked on VI design of sportswear brand "Razzoli" with SANKEI Corporation. This project is aimed at activating the Gifu apparel industry. We designed the symbol-mark and logotype in cooperation with students. And we considered the social and educational meaning that this project will bring.departmental bulletin pape
Estimate of the Image of Apparel Materials by Women's Students
As for the apparel materials, there are many kinds of fibers, natural vegetable fibers, animal fibers, regenerated fibers and synthetic fibers and new fibers are still developing. In this paper I studied how young students in this college, who have been studying the clothing science, understand apparel materials. Subjects were 160 young women's students who entered the college in April. In the research sheets, they answered weather they knew the name of the fibers. Then they answered 15 questions about the image of materials as for eight typical apparel materials, wool, cotton, linen/ramie, silk, polyester, nylon, acrylic and rayon. The results was 1) Cotton is very popular and their image is useful in the all rounds area of daily life. 2) Wool is considered as good feeling, warm, exclusive and elegant material, while is not suitable for underwear nor jackets.As for the apparel materials, there are many kinds of fibers, natural vegetable fibers, animal fibers, regenerated fibers and synthetic fibers and new fibers are still developing. The approach for providing the health diets using the indigenous products of Gifu prefecture
The past decade has seen substantial and growing interest in the promotion of local production for local consumption throughout Japan. Shokuiku (food and nutrition education) is defined as acquisition of knowledge about nutrition, the ability to make appropriate food choices through various experience related to food in order to practice and live a healthy diet. The Basic Plan mandates practical Shokuiku that promotes consumption of domestically produced food, supports the local food movement, and ensures consumer's faith in domestic agricultural products. It is important to the approach for providing the health diets using the local production. However, especially young people are disinterested in Japanese-style food in general, because they tend to prefer Western food more. A high level of customers' satisfaction is an important in mass feeding. Therefore, we conducted a preference survey about the health diets using the indigenous products of Gifu prefecture has been tried by using Hedonic Scale and finding of mean value and standard deviation. 58 Subjects of the mean preference value was 8.4±0.8 for "Tofu and burdock hamburger steak", 7.6±1.3 for "Simmered Sukuna pumpkin", 8.2±1.0 for "Kenchin-jiru soup" and 7.4±1.5 for "Horado kiwi fruit" Subjects show their high taste to "Tofu and burdock hamburger steak". Henry VI Part 1 for Children: Joan of Arc in Quiller-Couch's Historical Tales from Shakespeare
This paper attempts to reveal how Quiller-Couch's retold story of Henry VI. Part 1 altered the representation of Joan of Arc. The first part surveys Shakespeare's place in history education and analyses Quiller-Couch's preface. The second part compares the representation of Joan between Shakespeare's play and Quiller-Couch's retold story. Through these, this paper claims that Joan of Arc in Quiller-Couch's version is represented as a figure who is rather opposite from Shakespeare. The images of Joan as a prostitute and a witch are omitted in Quiller-Couch, as a result of omitting contemptuous treatment of Joan by English nobles.This paper attempts to reveal how Quiller-Couch's retold story of Henry VI. Survey on nutrients and food additives labeled on commercially sold rice balls (1)
In this study, we conducted a questionnaire survey to female junior college students on their purchase of commercially sold rice balls, and investigated at convenience stores the nutrients and the food additives indicated on the label with popular rice balls among those students. The results of the questionnaire survey showed that students buy rice balls two to three times a month, and two at a time. Tuna and mayonnaise ranked first both as their favorite filling and as the most frequently chosen filling. On the nutrition labels, the amounts of calories, protein, fat, carbohydrate and sodium were indicated. Tuna and mayonnaise had more fat than the other fillings examined here. Application to CAE Pre-processor of Three-dimensional Computer Modeling of Woven Fabric Structures
The software which converted from three dimensional model of woven fabric structures to STL file was developed. STL file is a general-purpose three-dimensional CAD data format and loaded by CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) system. The three dimensional modeler of woven fabric structures was applied as preprocessor of CAE for analysis of woven fabric properties. The analysis by FEM (Finite Eement Method) and MPS (Moving Particle Simulation) using three dimensional model of woven fabric structures was enabled by applying this software.
