Recently the Indonesian people often get inefficiency of electricity usage. On the other side, in Indonesia, the electricity is mostly produced from steam power plant, which require fuel from non-renewable natural resources. So the highness of demand and the occurrence of inefficiency the electricity usage can increase the consumption of natural resource and the air pollution. Therefore, an early warning system are proposed in this study, become one of the various solution than can increase awareness of the people in efficiency of electricity usage. This system requires the input data of electricity usage in the last 6 months, that will be formed the electricity usage trend from each user using linear regression analysis. Furthermore, this trend will predict the electricity usage for next month, this is used as the limit to give the warning from the system. The outcome from this study is the system that can provide a warning to users if their electricity usage run over the certain limits

The production process is a way to increase the usefulness of an item and service using existing production factors. The decision making process to determine the amount of production, especially in the business world contains risks. It needs to be supported by careful calculations so that the risk of loss can be avoided. Industri associations tofu "Waluyo" in Seyegan who still determines the amount of production manually. From the above problems a Decision Support System (DSS) was made using Sugeno's fuzzy method. In this DSS there are three variables modeled, namely, inventory variables, demand variables and production variables. The demand variable consists of two fuzzy sets, the inventory variable consists of two fuzzy sets and 4 rules which are the production rules used by Industry associations tofu "Waluyo" in determining the amount of production. Based on the acuracy   test using the MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error) method obtained a value of 5,3069% or below the error rate of 10%. So this system can be applied in determining the amount of tofu production in the tofu industri community in Seyegan

The process of news administration from the ranks in the area, entered through a fax machine coded in the password room which was then distributed to the destination work unit by courier / caraka. To ensure the confidentiality of news documents, an encryption process is performed using the Blowfish algorithm, this algorithm is chosen because it has the fastest form of other block cipher algorithms (Salama, Elminaam, Mohamed, Kader, & Hadhoud, 2010). Then to guarantee the integrity of the archive, the Whirlpool hash function is used, this algorithm is able to produce hash values that have an output length of 512 bits but with a faster time than the NIST recommendation algorithm, SHA-512 (Cryptopp, 2009), besides Whirlpool is a standard hash function ISO / IEC 10118-3: 2003. For the legalization process and ensuring the authenticity of the news can be fulfilled by the RSA Digital Signature algorithm, the algorithm is chosen because it complies with the NIST FIPS 186-4 standard. The news management application that will be designed is also adjusted to the minimum electronic system requirements in accordance with Law Number 11 of 2008, which can protect the integrity, authenticity, confidentiality and accessibility of electronic information. This research will produce an application that is capable of managing web-based electronic confidential news documents. The application can also guarantee the confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity of managed news documents. It is expected that with this application, it can meet management need

Ignition system is one of system to helps in combustion processes on the Cessna aircraft engine. In Cessna aircraft operations, ignition have been often reported to be damaged. Failure modes related to failure of the aircraft are ignored, not working, unserviceable, broken, and burned. Where analysis of aircraft maintenance has 50 times the problem with the ignition system which is dominated by worn out plugs which is 16 times. So the detection of damage aircraft is very important, Backward Chaining is part of the expert system method, where is this method can be used in detect damage  that occurs on the Cessna aircraft with the Best-First Search technique. Using this method can be reduce flight failure with detect damage aircraft

The Effect of Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) Values on Object Detection Accuracy in Viola Jones Method

    No full text
Image quality is an important parameter in object detection. Image with good quality will produce high accuracy in the object detection process. Image quality is measured using the peak signal comparison of the original image with the interference that occurs in the image. This comparison is formulated with the Peak Signal To Noise Ratio (PSNR). PSNR values obtained from variations in image quality improvements will be seen in its characteristics in object detection methods using the Viola Jones method. The higher PSNR value will definitely produce better accuracy, but improving the image to the best quality will drain resources and a high computational burden so it needs to find a minimum PSNR value that can still be considered good in the object detection process. The minimum PSNR value for the image is said to be feasible to be processed 19.05 dB. The minimum PSNR value before the object can no longer be detected is 12.43 dB

Developing a Decision Support System of Land Location for Apartment Investment Using Fuzzy MADM Yager Model

    No full text
Determining the location of land for apartment investment is usually done manually by relying on intuition, experience, and some considerations from the apartment developer. For this reason, the determination of the location of the land must go through the right analysis and calculation so that the best location can be determined from various criteria. Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) method Yager model is a decision support system method that can be used in this system. This FMADM method will compare alternative locations with predetermined criteria including land prices, land area, road access, land conditions, and the environment. The final result of this process is the selection of total values to obtain alternative locations, so that the best results from three alternative locations are obtained, namely Banguntapan with the largest total value of 0.600, Seturan with values of 0.085, and Kulon Progo with a value of 0.292. So the location of Banguntapan can be used as a recommendation for the developer in making a decision to determine the location of the land for apartment investmen
