    The Impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Social Media on Student Academic Performance: a Case Study at a Health College

    This study investigates the effects of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Smart Learning, and Social Media on academic performance among students at STIKES ARJUNA Laguboti, Toba, North Sumatra. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 225 students across three academic programs—Bachelor\u27s in Pharmacy, Diploma in Pharmacy, and Diploma in Nursing—through random sampling. SmartPLS analysis reveals that Smart Learning and Social Media significantly enhance academic performance, with Smart Learning showing a strong positive impact, while Social Media fosters engagement and collaborative learning, indirectly improving outcomes. However, AI, while positively influencing Smart Learning, does not directly affect academic performance, suggesting that effective AI integration requires enhanced digital literacy and targeted interventions. These findings underscore the importance of integrating Smart Learning and Social Media into educational frameworks and addressing challenges in AI utilization to optimize academic success

    The topic to be analysed in this paper is the digitalisation of public service quality, which is an effort to improve public services using digital technology and data. Digitalisation of public service quality focuses on providing services that are more efficient effective and more transparent. Digitalisation of public service quality is implemented in the transformation of technology from analogue to digital processes. This topic is interesting to study because it is motivated by the results of Cordella &; Lindgren et al, 2019; Ranerup & Henriksen, 2019; Wihlborg, Wirtz et al, 2019), the conclusion of their research is "Digitalisation of public service quality changes public services by promising more efficient, more effective, and more transparent". The phenomena that occur in public services in Indonesia include service discrimination, the absence of certainty of time and cost and the low level of public satisfaction with public services, raising the question of what concrete steps the government has taken to overcome these public service problems. One of these concrete steps is the implementation of digitisation using internet-based information technology in the provision of various DKI Jakarta government services to the community. The writing of the article was carried out with a quantitative descriptive analysis method, data sources in the form of primary data and secondary data. Primary data collection by distributing questionnaires through google form. The results of primary data collection were processed and analysed using Ms Excell. The research location was conducted in the city of Jakarta as a smart city or smart city, involving 325 respondents who live in Jakarta with a minimum education requirement of high school equivalent, minimum age 21 years maximum 60 years, from various professional backgrounds including TNI / Polri, state civil apparatus, private sector, educators, journalists and entrepreneurs. The conclusion is that by implementing digitalisation of public service quality, it has succeeded in improving the quality of services provided by the Jakarta government to the community. The recommended advice related to implementing digitalisation of public service quality is to increase innovation and increase community support for digitalisation programs through socialisation and relevant, reliable and continuous training

    This study aims to determine “The Effect of Product Quality and Distribution on Customer Loyalty at PT Mitra Karya Rawapanjang in Bekasi City. This research is quantitative research using descriptive methods. The sample in this study was 120 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was saturated sampling technique. Each respondent was given 30 questions using a Likert scale. This research uses data analysis is Descriptive Test, Validity Test, Reabilitity Test, Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Coefficient of Determination Analysis, and Hypothesis Test, namely the t test and f test using SPSS Version 26. The results of this study indicate that with partial testing, Product Quality (X1) has a significant positive effect on Customer Loyalty (Y) of 30.5%, while distribution (X2) has a significant positive effect on Customer Loyalty (Y) of 22.3%, and simultaneously Product Quality (X1) and Distribution (X2) have a significant positive effect on Customer Loyalty (Y) of 38.0%, while the remaining 62% is influenced by other variables outside of this study

    Consumer satisfaction is one of the important factors that companies need to pay attention to so that a business can run for a long time. Because with satisfaction, consumers will continue to buy the products and services offered. This research aims to analyze the influence of price and product quality, both partially and simultaneously, on consumer satisfaction with INK helmets in Jakarta. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, the number of samples in this study was 70 people taken using purposive sampling techniques. Data were analyzed through multiple regression analysis, t test, F test and coefficient of determination test. The results of the research show that product price has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction as shown by the calculated t value (2.449) > t table (1.683), product quality has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction as shown by the calculated t value (2.582) > t table (1.683) and simultaneously the two independent variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance as shown by the calculated F value (4.611) > F table (3.23). The magnitude of the influence of product price is 75.6%, product quality 77.7% and together 88.6%

    This study aims to analyse marketing strategies to increase sales volume at MSMEs of coconut roots Mpok Nini typical Betawi souvenirs located at Damri Bus Terminal in Bekasi. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation methods. Determination of informants based on owners and employees of MSMEs of coconut root Mpok Nini typical Betawi souvenirs, buyers of coconut root of MSMEs Mpok Nini typical Betawi souvenirs, and determination of academic lecturer informants selected based on Business Administration courses at the STIAMI Institute of Social and Management Sciences. The informants selected were 2 people from the coconut root of MSMEs Mpok Nini typical Betawi souvenirs, 2 buyers from the coconut root of MSMEs Mpok Nini typical Betawi souvenirs, and 1 academic lecturer informant Interview questions based on the marketing mix of the 4P marketing strategy, namely Product, Price, Place, Promotion. Based on these dimensions, there is each indicator to be used as a question in the interview. The 4P marketing strategy has been implemented by MSMEs of coconut root Mpok Nini typical Betawi souvenirs, product by maintaining excellence, price with affordable selling prices, place available in marketplaces and offline stores, and promotion carried out through marketplace advertisements.     In the air conditioning industry, business face intense competition in terms of both pricing and product quality. The sales instability observed at Pt. Mitra Indo Teknik indicates underlying issues influencing purchasing decisions. This research aims to analyze the extent to which product quality and price influence the purchasing decisions of Daikin air conditioners at Pt. Mitra Indo Teknik. This research adopts a quantitative approach. The population consist of all customer of Pt. Mitra indo Teknik who have purchased Daikin air conditioners. The result reveal a positive and significant influence of product quality on purchasing decisions, with a calculated tvalue of 10.897 ttable value of 1.980 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 likewise, price has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, with a calculated t-value of 2.831 > t-table value of 1.980 and a significance value of 0.005 < 0.05. Simultaneously, product quality and price have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, as indicated by an F-test value of 73.109 > F-table value of 3.07 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. The Combined contribution of product quality and price to purchasing decisions is 53.9%, while the remaining 46.1% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research

    Supervision of export activities plays a crucial role in maintaining exporter compliance and preventing potential violations that may lead to state revenue losses. One of the strategic instruments employed by the Directorate General of Customs and Excise is the Nota Hasil Intelijen (NHI), which serves as an early detection tool for potential violations in export activities. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of export goods supervision based on NHI at the Main Customs Office (KPUBC) Type A Tanjung Priok in 2024, using the effectiveness framework proposed by Martani and Lubis in Hermawan (2017), which includes the resource approach, process approach, and goals approach. This research adopts a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with six key informants from internal DJBC personnel and business actors, supported by secondary data such as performance reports (LAKIN), standard operating procedures (SOP), and NHI export statistics. The research findings indicate that NHI-based export supervision at KPUBC Tanjung Priok is highly effective, with a 95,83% follow-up rate and various forms of enforcement, including export cancellation, investigation, and seizure of goods by the state. The challenges identified include limitations in human resources, facilities, and technical disruptions in the field. To address these issues, several efforts have been made, such as technical training, inter-unit coordination, and the use of digital documentation tools. In conclusion, the implementation of NHI has significantly improved export compliance and violation prevention, although further strengthening is needed in terms of human resources and operational infrastructure

    This study is based on the relaxation of licensing policies that have not been running effectively in the One-Stop Integrated Services Investment Office (DPMPTSP) of Warakas Village, Tanjung Priok District, North Jakarta. Services that have not been effective due to the handling of employees to the community has not been running smoothly and the existing infrastructure is not adequate. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze how effective the implementation of public service policies in the Investment Office with a One-Stop Integrated Service model (DPMPTSP) Warakas Village, Tanjung Priok District, North Jakarta. To further analyze what are the obstacles that occur in the implementation of these policies and what efforts or solutions are made to overcome these obstacles. The theory used to dissect this problem is translated into four dimensions, namely communication, resources, disposition and this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The results showed that the relaxation policy in general has been running quite well. Nevertheless there are still some things that need to be fixed. Officers should be increased in capacity.provide services to the community concerned. In addition, some interested communities have not fully understood the permit management procedure. Some things are done as an effort to overcome these obstacles or obstacles. Employees should have developed their abilities by providing regular training.     Terminal levy collection is an important source of income for local goverments, but there are often problems in supervising levy collection, resulting in the target not being achieved. This research uses a descriptive approach which aims to describe the condition of supervision carried out in levy collection at the Depok Terminal. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews with terminal managements officers, drivers, as well as direct observation in the field. The research results show that supervision of terminal levy collection still experiences various obstacles, namely weakening supervision by direct superiors, lack of technological support, limited number of levy collection officers and the occurrence of fraud when collection levies. However, there are effort to increase supervision, namely by increasing the number of officers, digitalization systems, and strict sanctions for officers who  commit fraud

    The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of the influence of earnings management and tax planning on corporate income tax payable. The population used in this study is the Manufacturing Companies in the Miscellaneous Industrial Sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2020-2022. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, with the sample determined using purposive sampling, resulting in a sample of 8 companies based on predetermined criteria with the assistance of Eviews software version 12. A total of 24 data points will be tested using descriptive statistical tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that earnings management does not affect corporate income tax payable, tax planning does not affect corporate income tax payable, and collectively, earnings management and tax planning do not affect corporate income tax payable
