No full textأهمية منطقة راشيا الدينية تقع راشيا على السفح الغربي لجبل حرمون أي الجبل المقدس، لأنه كان يعتقد بأنه واهب الأمطار ومانح الخيرات، فهو مجتمع الغيوم بسبب علوه، وقد ورد ذكره في سفر القضاة «بعل حرمون»، ويعرف حاليا باسم «جبل الشيخ»، لأن الثلج يغطي قمته كما يغطي الشيب أو العمامة رأس الرجل الشيخ، وماتزال آثار هياكل فينيقية ورومانية فى أعلى قممه وعلى سفحه الغربي تدل على أهميته الدينية، إضافة إلى الآثار البيز نطية وما بعد البيز نطية.Rashaya is one of the five centres of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Sidon, Tyre and dependencies, founded in the 16th century. The article examines icons of the churches in the Caza of Rashaya Al-Wadi: Our Lady of Deliverance of Rachaya, Saint Elias of Kfarmechki, and Saint George of Mhaidseh. They contain ancient icons, placed in the lower row of the (the Proskinesis). They are usually large, harmonious in their distribution: to the right of the royal door, are the icons of the Christ Pantocrator, and of St. John the Baptist. On the left, the icon of the Virgin and the Child, Theotokos, and next to it is the icon of the saint protector of the town to whom the church is dedicated.

Il se propose de réfléchir sur les rapports entre la ville et les cimetières et sur le rôle des cimetières dans la ville, en interrogeant leur localisation, leur mode d'implantation, leur composition, et la distance géographique instaurée entre eux et l'espace urbain à proprement parler. Nous pensons ainsi pouvoir cerner la relation des vivants par rapport à leurs morts dans la cité. Pour ce faire, nous nous sommes intéressée à la ville de Tyr, en raison de l'histoire socioreligieuse et culturelle complexe qui la caractérise et où les cimetières, groupés au même endroit, occupent une place remarquable tout en étant un reflet important de la ville. Cette dernière est aussi dotée de vestiges archéologiques considérables, somptueux pour grande partie et dans le voisinage desquels se trouvent justement les cimetières, qui occupent un emplacement devenu stratégique, du fait qu'ils sont localisés sur le front de mer en un endroit très touristique et bien avant la découverte en 1960 de ces ruines importantes à leur proximité directe

No full textDans l’Islam, la lumière occupe une place importante similaire à celle qui lui est accordée par les religions du Livre antérieures. Une sourate coranique entière est dédiée à la lumière et la valorise en tant que symbole divin : « Allah est la lumière des cieux et de la terre. Sa lumière est semblable à une niche où se trouve une lampe. La lampe est dans (un récipient de) cristal et celui-ci ressemble à un astre de grand éclat » (Coran, 24, 35). La symbolique du divin et de l’unité divine octroyée par l’Islam à la lumière est centrale, en particulier pour le soufisme, comme le soulignent plusieurs auteurs (Akkach 2005 ; Behrens-Abouseif 1999 ; Bonnéric 2012 ; Burckhardt 1985 ; Gonzales 2001 ; Hoag 1962 ; Irwin 1997). No full textDespite an increasing interest in historical accounts regarding the Greek community of Istanbul, research on the Hellenic Literary Society of Constantinople (HLSC - Ο Ελληνικός Φιλολογικός Σύλλογος Κωνσταντινουπόλεως) had been sparse (Stavrou 1967, Svolopoulos 1992)3 until the late 1990s. It was not until that period, with the future prospects of the dwindling Greek community in Istanbul being imminently bleak, that the history of its cultural institutions began to attract the attention of scholars (Sarioglou 2003). This paper attempts to present a brief account of the activities of the Hellenic Literary Society of Constantinople, from its establishment in 1861 to the cessation of its function, in 1922, when all its property was confiscated by the Turkish state

No full textيحاو ل هذا البحث تحديد ملامح الوعي الجمالي للنصوص الروائية العربية المبكرة، إذ تشير هجنة الأشكال السردية في مرحلة النهضة إلى حضور وعي جمالي يتسم بالجدة. استلزم رصد هذه الملامح إعادة تعريف لمفاهيم باتت راسخة في البنية الثقافية العربية، وهي: النهضة، والتنوير، والحداثة، لكن هذه التعريفات تجيء من وجهة نظر الدراسات الثقافية، التي تعيد ترتيب العلاقات النسقية من خلال نظرية ما بعد الاستعمار، بوصف الكتابة الروائية تحديدا، ردا على العملية الإمبريالية. تقصى البحث ملامح الوعي الجمالي الجديد من خلال دراسة نموذجين روائيين، الأول تنويري وهو نص خليل الخوري، «وي. إذن لست بإفربجي»، والثاي حدائي، وهو نص مي زيادة، (رجو ع الموجة).This paper identifies thefeatures ofthe aesthetic consciousness in the early Arabic novels, for the hybrid narrative styles in the Renaissance period point to a serious presence of aesthetic consciousness. Capturing those features required redefining well-grounded notions in the Arab cultural structure; they are: the Renaissance, the Enlightenment, and Modernity. However, these definitions arise from a Cultural Studies perspective, which restructures the systematic relations according to a postcolonial theory, since narrative writing, in particular, is a reaction to Imperialism. By studying Khalil Al-Khoury novel's "Way...ldhan Lastu Bi Ifranji" and May Ziadeh's "Ruju' al-Mawja" the paper explores the features of the new aesthetic consciousness
