Abstract: This study aims to develop a digital history book based on local wisdom in the Kawali Inscription through the Discovery Learning model to enhance local historical awareness among students in class X at the Madrasah Aliyah Negeri in Ciamis Regency. The background of this research focuses on the low historical awareness of students regarding local history, attributed to the lack of relevant and engaging teaching materials. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D model by Thiagarajan, which includes the stages of definition, design, development, and dissemination. The results of the preliminary study indicate that the textbooks currently in use are limited and do not adequately facilitate the learning of local history. Additionally, students' historical awareness is assessed to be low, with many students unaware of the Kawali Inscription as part of their local historical identity. The development of this digital book is anticipated to be a solution to increase student engagement in history learning and introduce the values of local wisdom embedded in the Kawali Inscription. By implementing the Discovery Learning model, students are expected to be more active in the learning process and better understand the importance of local history. This research has the potential to make a significant contribution to innovations in history education and promote the development of student character that values history and local culture

Abstract: Teachers' pedagogical competence in managing learning is very important to improve students' social skills, especially in the context of Indonesian culture that emphasizes the value of mutual cooperation. This study aims to analyze how teachers are able to apply their pedagogical competencies to improve students' social skills with an approach based on Ki Hadjar Dewantara's thoughts. This research uses a literature research method with content analysis, which is a data analysis method. This is done to ensure the discussion remains precise and prevent misinformation in data analysis. Thus, repeated reading of the literature and inter-literature checks were carried out. The results of the literature review show that good learning planning, implementation based on social interaction, and evaluation oriented towards strengthening social skills contribute to increasing students' spirit of mutual cooperation. Improving teachers' pedagogical competence in managing learning based on cultural pillar thinking (Tri-con: continuous, convergent, concentric) can be an effective strategy in building students' social skills. This research has implications for education policy in developing teacher training programs to be more effective in instilling sociocultural values in students based on Ki Hadjar Dewantara's pedagogic thinking

    Get PDF
This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method in predicting the percentage of poor people in Indonesia. This method was chosen because of its ability to solve non-linear prediction problems efficiently. The data used is annual secondary data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) for the period 2015-2024. The PSO model was developed with certain parameters, and the prediction process was carried out for the period 2025-2029. The prediction results show a gradual increase in the number of poor people, indicating a potential slowdown in poverty reduction. Evaluation of model accuracy using the Mean Squared Error (MSE) and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) indicators resulted in values of 1.66% and 0.773%, respectively. These values reflect a very low level of prediction error and indicate that the PSO model has a reliable performance. Therefore, the PSO method is considered effective and reliable as a decision-making tool in data-based socioeconomic policy planning

    Get PDF
Abstract: The development of e-commerce has increased transactional convenience but also raises risks of expired product sales that harm consumers. This research aims to analyze consumer protection in Indonesia against the circulation of expired products through e-commerce and to explore Islamic business ethics as a preventive mechanism. The research employs a normative legal method with statutory and conceptual approaches. The results indicate that the Consumer Protection Act (UUPK), the Electronic Information and Transactions Act (ITE Law), and the Government Regulation on Electronic Systems and Transactions (PP PSTE) provide an adequate legal foundation, yet their enforcement remains weak. Integrating the principles of honesty (shidq), trustworthiness (amanah), justice, prohibition of uncertainty (gharar), and responsibility into e-commerce practices can strengthen business compliance, improve product information transparency, and prevent the distribution of expired goods. This research concludes that integrating positive law with Islamic business ethics is essential to establish a fair, safe, and sustainable e-commerce ecosystem. These findings are expected to serve as practical recommendations for government, businesses, and consumers to reinforce consumer protection and build a just digital economy aligned with sharia values
