Mediating Effect of Reward System on the Relationship Between Training and SMEs’ Performance in Osun State
The reward systems in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria face significant challenges rooted in economic, structural, and cultural factors. This current study examines the mediating effect of the reward system on the relationship between training as an independent variable and SMEs’ performance as a dependent variable. Using a simple random sampling method produced by the Microsoft Excel application package, 363 respondents were selected. A questionnaire was used to gather primary data for the study. Data analysis was performed by structural equation modeling using STATA version 15. Analysis revealed a significant and positive relationship between training and the reward system. Additionally, there is a strong positive correlation between training and the performance of SMEs. This implies that SMEs\u27 performance can be predicted by both training and reward. It was also discovered that the performance of SMEs and training is partially mediated by the reward system. In order to demonstrate intellectual abilities, such as understanding the business environment, understanding globalization and integration, understanding market conditions, and understanding knowledge about competitors\u27 strategies, managers should be trained to acquire modern entrepreneurial skills and appropriately rewarded. This will help SMEs perform well. The analysis highlights the critical role of training and reward systems in enhancing SME performance, underscoring the value of a well-structured reward system as both a motivator and a mediator between training and outcomes
The Role of Interactive Games in Learning Processes
This paper aims at presenting the design, implementation, and outcomes of an interactive game (MultiCountry), highlighting its potential for fostering mathematical and quantitative learning in economics, as well as its ability to artificially generate quantitative data that can be effectively used in experimental economic research. The game is based on the Macrosim software, developed at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW), which can be applied in various contexts, including macroeconomics, the banking industry, and futures contracts. As expected, the results of the game show that students are gradually able to understand how their economy works and how it responds to their own decisions and those made by other players. Moreover, simulation-based games play a crucial role in modern economics education. These tools transform abstract and often complex theoretical models into immersive, interactive environments, thereby facilitating deeper student engagement, enhanced motivation, and improved knowledge retention. They enable experiential learning, allowing students to experiment with policy variables or market decisions in a low-risk setting, observe the dynamics of their choices in real time, and critically reflect on outcomes—elements shown to foster critical thinking, strategic decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Further, simulations provide educators with rich, generated datasets, creating valuable opportunities for analysis, hypothesis testing, and empirical study within experimental economics frameworks. Overall, the combination of active learning, immediate feedback, and realistic modelling situates simulation games as powerful pedagogical instruments for developing both theoretical understanding and quantitative competence in economics students
Brevi note in tema di MOG e salute, fra partecipazione e inclusione
The paper offers a reflection on the relationship between health and organization, enhancing the contribution that organizational and management models under Art. 30 Legislative Decree No. 81/2008 can make, including as tools for participation and inclusion, to the creation of a work environment aimed at promoting the overall well-being of the person.
Starting from the crisis of effectiveness that continues to affect the occupational health and safety system, this paper seeks to explore the tensions that run through the current regulatory paradigm. After reconstructing the main compliance tools in this field, the analysis focuses – through a dichotomic lens – on the critical aspects of the existing framework, highlighting some structural frictions: between public regulation and private self-regulation; between individual and collective dimensions of protection; and, finally, between repressive approaches and incentive-based mechanisms. These conflicting tendencies are epitomized by the recently introduced “credit-based licence” (the so-called “patente a crediti”), which is critically assessed in light of its predominantly punitive nature. The aim of the study is to investigate – within the broader domain of criminal compliance – the developmental trajectories of the current regulatory model, questioning its actual ability to reconcile preventive goals, the accountability of economic actors, and the protection of fundamental guarantees.
The paper proposes a brief reflection on the recent dialogue between the Court of Cassation and the European Court of Justice regarding discrimination by association based on disability, retracing the arguments in order to question the effectiveness of the solutions proposed by multilevel jurisprudence.

Neocorporativismo e egemonia valutaria
This analysis posits that contemporary international relations are characterized by a form of neocorporatism, which manages social conflict and facilitates the legalization of economic exploitation on a global scale. The current imperialist rivalry has shifted from a purely territorial to a monetary struggle, centered on the hegemony of currency areas like the US dollar. The decline of the dollar\u27s dominance and the emergence of a multipolar world, with currencies such as the yuan, are leading to intensified economic and military conflict. This currency war is the fundamental basis of today\u27s geopolitical dynamics, as nations and transnational capital vie for control over the global financial architecture. The system\u27s inherent crisis points towards either a coerced imperialist coexistence or a terminal confrontation.
