Measuring the Effectiveness of Sales Promotion Activities on Brand Loyalty: A Study on COCA COLA
The study is descriptive in nature measuring the effect and relationship in between sales promotion activities and brand loyalty. The study is done on COCA COLA brand in the open market. The research problem observed here as to measure the efficiency of sales promotion and brand loyalty to get the real effectiveness on sales promotion activities. The research objectives formulated are to know the importance of component of sales promotion activities, to know the effect of advertising on sales promotion activities, to realize the importance of brand loyalty on sales promotion activities. A quantitative method was used to accomplish the purpose of the study. A survey instrument developed taking items to measure all variables with five points likert scale. A sample size of 159 (from 210) incorporated in the study having the reliability of 0.851(more than 0.7). The data analyzed using SPSS for descriptive statistics and regression to measure the effect of independent variable on dependent variable. It is recommend that COCA COLA should improve more on its different activities and produce different product and with tasty fast food or build up different production of equipment to expand its business in the whole world’s market
A Literary Excavation of University Brand Image Past to Present
Brand Image is one of the most vital parts of any organization that makes the world believe their products or services. It creates a pre assumption in the mind before reaching or consuming it. It is said too that the Lion has branded itself means the image established like creates the fear when one just gets an imagination. The different imagination of different brand is the outcome of its performance in the market. The study presented here in this study is the preliminary part of the deeper concept of Brand Image. Though, the study is the small part of the many broader dimensions explored by many researchers then too is the idea here to build the platform for the better understanding of the Brand Image in the context of university and academic institutions where many authors say academic institutions are not prone to have any exercise for building their Brand Image. The literature review is based on the idea of finding the Brand Image during past years when the concept was evolving and the current scenario. Conceptually the study has taken the literature across the world and across industries but the specific narrowed down discussion is carried for Kurdistan region
Investigation of the Motivation Parameters in Health Care Establishments
In this study, the factors that influence the motivation of employees in the health sector with the aim of finding articles and research are examined. As far as can be seen in reviews in this field, various studies have been conducted in different countries. The specific findings of this research were concluded. When these findings are examined, particularly in the area of Health ‘Management’ and ‘working conditions’ had positive effect on the motivation of health personnel was observed. However, the tools of economic motivation, tools to motivate health employees, psychosocial factors have been identified as the most important managerial tools and organizational tools to motivate
Materiality of Body: The Material Practices of Life and Death in Medieval Britain
The aim of this paper is to investigate the ways people understood their body during the medieval period in Britain. I bring together the multiple different ways in which the body was treated in death, I focus on the role and power of grave goods and evidence found in dead bodies for plasticity in life to embrace the complexity of the medieval body, I examine the cultural practice of nutrition and environment affected the bodily mold. Another point I take into consideration is the practice of dietary through differentiation between male and female body in which we explore how medieval people socially and culturally constructed body based on their notion and understanding of gender identity. In addition, religion had a great influence on people’s understanding to deal with dead bodies and I concentrate on how bodily resurrection impacted on people’s preparation for the Day of Judgment by placing the goods in burials
Poor Beehive Colonisation: Another Emerging Obstacle to Beekeeping in Nigeria?
A two-year survey was conducted in the Northeast geo political zone of Nigeria to assess the rate of beehive colonisation in apiaries using improved and traditional methods of beekeeping. Snow-ball and purposive sampling methods were applied to select 185 traditional and three low-technology (Kenya TopBar Beehives: KTBH) apiarists, respectively, from the study area. A four-item open-ended questionnaire was used to collect data from the respondents in 2015 and 2016 cropping seasons. Findings show that majority of the apiarists used local attractants in bee baiting with cow dung accounting for 47.4% and 26.9% as the larger proportions in 2015 and 2016, respectively. While cumulatively beehive colonisation accounted for only 22.5% against 77.5% empty beehives in the first year, the second year recorded 62.5% and 37.5% colonised and unoccupied beehives, respectively. It’s therefore, concluded that there was a remarkably low rate of beehive colonisation in the study area. In this regards, research-based institutions should intensify efforts towards providing effective training on colony division for local farmers, financial assistance to beekeeping beginners and beekeeping-based curricula by institutions of learning to capture youths as future apiculturists for sustainability
Economic Transformation and Human Development Index in Nigeria
This research seeks to examine the impact of human development index (HDI) on economic transformation Nigeria. The paper adopted error correction mechanism to accentuate the dynamic paths of variables and aptitude of these variables to return to long-run equilibrium after a shock. From empirical results, it was found that HDI and school enrolment were most statistically significant in Nigerian growth equation. We thus recommend as a policy that emphasis human capital development in Nigeria most especially when the Nigerian nation is labor-intensive one
The Effects of Teaching Abroad on Personal and Professional Development
With increasing global change, schools have become more culturally diverse recently. Teachers must address the needs of students from diverse backgrounds to create an effective learning environment through personal and professional development. They need to increase their cultural awareness, and develop their teaching skills to create a learning setting in which students respect each other. Working abroad help teachers expose to innovative learning styles, educational materials and curricula which play key roles in the development of their teaching practice. Furthermore, living in a different culture enables teachers to gain new skills and knowledge which they can integrate into their own teaching strategies. This article presents the benefits of working abroad in many aspect
Career Development of Teachers: Importance and Benefits
Teachers have always been at the core of education and their career development has always been the primary issue of education system. It is important to note that in order to make differences in students’ achievement, teachers should constantly develop their field knowledge and teaching skills. For that reason, career development is an important part of teaching profession. This paper defines what is meant by career development in teaching profession and explains the benefits of it to both teachers and students
Shear Strength Prediction of High Performance Reinforced Concrete Deep Beams with Stirrups by ANSYS
The present paper is a theoretical analyses of three dimensional (3D) finite element (FE) model to predicate the shear stress, shear strain, load deflection and crack propagation of sixteen high performance reinforced concrete deep beams (HPRCDB) with stirrups by ANSYS (v14). The main variables considered were; vertical shear stress (pvfy), ranging from 1.27 to 7.46MPa, horizontal shear stress (pvfy), ranging from 2.38 to 5.30 MPa and vertical and horizontal (combination) shear stress (pvfy), ranging from (1.27+2.38 to 7.46+5.30) MPa, Three types of concrete were used based on the compressive strength; Normal Strength Concrete, (NSC), 43MPa, High Strength Concrete, (HSC), 62.5MPa, and High Performance Concrete, (HPC), more than 100MPa.Results obtained by ANSYS were compared with the experimental results in order to verify the accuracy of the finite element model. The theoretical results of the FE models show good agreement with the taken experimental data, in both linear and nonlinear behaviors ranges up to failure. The effect of each parameter were discussed and compared with the experimental works
An Analysis of Theories on Stock Returns
Objective in writing this article is to provide an overview of the theories that has been developed for stock returns which is an important area of financial markets’ researches. Since the researches in this field are very active for the past quarter, it is not possible to describe all works that has been done in this area. Most important researches will be discussed without going deeper in mathematical tools and theories
