ReData: daily meteorological bulletins edited by the Italian Royal Central Meteorological Office from 1879 to 1940
This dataset contains all the DOIs of the datasets containing the first results of the project ReData (Recovery of Data) coordinated by Meteonetwork Association and the Department of Environmental Science and Policy of the University of Milan.
The data contained in the 62 datasets refers to the daily meteorological bulletins edited by the Italian Royal Central Meteorological Office from 1879 to 1940, available only in paper format until now. Considering that each bulletin has been scanned page by page the collection amounts to 99,518 pages.
To consult each DOI, please refer to the README file in this dataset. Each dataset (and each DOI) refers to a different year, thus, click on the year that you wish to consult the data for in order to be addressed to the relevant data
Replication data for: “TAP-COG: Development and Preliminary Usability Evaluation of a New Tablet-Based Assessment of Cognitive Skills”
This dataset contains anonymized data collected during the usability evaluation phase of the TAP-COG project, a tablet-based assessment of cognitive skills.
The file includes demographic variables (age, gender, education, handedness, region of residence) and performance measures from the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) and System Usability Scale (SUS).
Personally identifying information has been removed to ensure participant confidentiality.
This dataset accompanies the manuscript “TAP-COG: Development and Preliminary Usability Evaluation of a New Tablet-Based Assessment of Cognitive Skills” currently submitted for publication

Replication Data for: "Machine-learnt potential highlights melting and freezing of aluminium nanoparticles"
This dataset contains the files that were obtained and used in the process of writing the paper "Machine-learnt potential highlights melting and freezing of aluminium nanoparticles", as well as input files that can be used to replicate the procedure implemented.
1. The parameters that comprise the Al-BFF 2 potential used for cMD simulations reported in the paper;
2. The dataset of ab initio calculations on which Al-BFF 2 was trained and validated;
3. Examples of input files used to obtain the data;
4. The classical Molecular Dynamics trajectories obtained using Al-BFF 2
CRAFTWORK_WP1_TwitterDataset__v01
The “Twitter Dataset” was developed within the framework of the CRAFTWORK project, coordinated by Alessandro Gandini at the University of Milan and funded by the European Union under the ERC Starting Grants 2020 (Horizon 2020 Programme). The overarching aim of the project is to investigate how identity and work intersect in the evolving context of the future of work, particularly focusing on the artisanal sector.
This dataset contains content collected from Twitter via the official Twitter API (v2), using the hashtags “#artisanal” and “#artisan” as search queries. The material includes textual, audiovisual, and numerical data extracted from posts, which were then manually reviewed and coded by the research team to identify themes relevant to the project’s goals.
The dataset is stored in a .csv file, formatted for use with spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel, and uses UTF-8 character encoding and comma delimiters. It consists of a curated collection of tweets from users based in the 27 European Union member states, focusing exclusively on accounts linked to commercial or artisanal activities.
Each entry in the dataset has been categorized according to several qualitative variables. These include the type of product associated with the tweet (such as food, ceramics, clothing, or woodwork), the presence of intermediary businesses, and thematic markers like “resignification” and “particularisation,” which relate to how artisanal work is framed in terms of authenticity, cultural value, and social distinction. Furthermore, each case was assessed for its relevance to the study and either included or excluded from the final sample based on specific criteria, which are also documented.
While the metadata is freely available under a CC0 license, access to the dataset itself requires a motivated request submitted directly to the principal investigator, and any use beyond the initial request must be explicitly authorized
Replication Data for: "I dati FAIR: un confronto tra i dataset depositati su Zenodo e Dataverse UNIMI"
This dataset contains data on a comparative analysis of the FAIRness of two key research data repositories: Dataverse UNIMI and Zenodo. The data refers to metadata which has been extrapolated from UNIMI researchers' datasets uploaded on the two repositories from 2019 to 2024. Results are presented in terms of the values associated to each metadata indicator constructed (as reported in the related publication). Coding and programming files are also present, they explain how the two programs, FAIRplay and FinDOI, were created.
The dataset includes the following files, organized by analysis step:
01) 2 csv files (one for Dataverse and one for Zenodo) containing the refinement of the data extracted from OpenAIRE (publicly available), via python program FinDOI + 2 programming code of python program FinDOI (one for Dataverse and one for Zenodo; 02) 2 csv files (one for Dataverse and one for Zenodo) containing the processing of the input files obtained from the previous step on the basis on the establish indicators, via the python program FAIRplay + 2 programming code of python program FAIRplay (one for Dataverse and one for Zenodo); 03) RMarkdown file + rendered HTML report of the R analyses, with script and results of the final analysis performed via R.
Naming Convention adopted: step_program_repository_output.ext

Replication data for: "Chewing Gum and Health: A Mapping Review and An Interactive Evidence Gap Map"
This dataset supports a mapping review accompanied by an Evidence Gap Map (EGM) that aims to identify, categorize, and synthesize studies investigating the use of chewing gum in health and well-being applications, excluding those related to oral health. It includes the search strings used across different databases, a record of duplicate articles, excluded articles with documented reasons for exclusion, and the final set of included studies. The dataset also contains a JSON file exported from EPPI-Reviewer Web (version 6), which details the code tree and the assignment of parent and child codes to each included article, as well as an HTML file of the interactive EGM created using EPPI-Mapper (version 2.3.0.7)
CRAFTWORK_WP1_FacebookDataset__v01
The “Facebook Dataset” was created as part of the CRAFTWORK research initiative, a project led by Alessandro Gandini at the University of Milan and funded by the European Union through the ERC Starting Grants 2020 within the Horizon 2020 framework. The project seeks to explore the evolving relationship between identity and work, particularly through the lens of artisanal production in the contemporary digital landscape.
This dataset contains data collected from Facebook using CrowdTangle, a dashboard owned by Meta that provides access to public content. The collection process focused on posts containing the hashtags “#artisanal” and “#artisan,” selected for their relevance to the project's thematic focus. The resulting data includes audiovisual, textual, and numerical information derived from Facebook posts made by users operating within the 27 member states of the European Union.
The dataset is saved in a UTF-8 encoded .csv file, which can be opened using Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet tools. It was compiled using Office 16 Excel with English as the designated language and comma as the field delimiter. The content was then manually reviewed by the research team, which applied a set of predefined variables to categorize and analyze the posts.
Each entry includes a pseudonymized ID, geographic origin, and identification of whether the Facebook account is linked to a commercial or artisanal activity. The dataset also classifies the type of product featured—such as food, ceramics, fashion, hospitality, or woodworking—and assesses the presence of narrative features like “resignification” and “particularisation.” These concepts relate to how artisanal labor is culturally framed in terms of authenticity, creativity, and value. The dataset also documents whether each case was considered “interesting” for final inclusion, along with an explanation for that decision.
While the metadata is publicly available under a CC0 license, access to the dataset itself requires a motivated request and explicit approval from the principal investigator, and the data cannot be further shared without authorization
