Kunnskapsoppsummering og klassifisering av tiltaket: SIBS Søskenprosjektet (1. utg)
Background: This article summarizes the knowledge about the effect of the sibling intervention SIBS for children with chronic health conditions. The intervention is based on family systemic theory with elements from resilience theory, family communication, understanding of illness and health knowledge as well as cognitive behavioral therapy. The intervention is a manual-based group intervention where siblings and a parent participate over five sessions. Three of the five sessions are separate child and parent groups. The overarching goal is to strengthen the quality of communication between parents and children in order to reduce the risk of developing psychological problems in siblings. The intervention is offered by the Frambu competence center for rare diagnoses, which provides training. It is owned by Frambu and the University of Oslo.
Methods: This systematic review is based on a systematic literature search in the databases Embase, Medline and Psykinfo, NORART, Cochrane, Cristin, NORA, SCOPUS and SweMed. International scientific databases have also been searched for evidence as well as information about the intervention obtained from the owner. Literature searches and other obtained information were reviewed to identify Nordic impact studies, international review studies and possibly other Norwegian studies about the intervention.
Results:One Nordic effect study of the intervention SIBS was identified and included. The effect study, which had a pre-posttest design without a control group, was conducted in Norway and included sibling-parent dyads. The intervention is well described in manuals, and the measure has a good theoretical justification. Overall, the effect study has been evaluated as having good research methodological quality, but somewhat weaker internal and external validity due to the lack of a control group, high dropout rates and characteristics of the families. The effect sizes in the study were small to moderate. Overall, the intervention has a good implementation strategy, but lacks specification of how compliance with the core components of the intervention is ensured and how the municipal service can record benefits and maintenance of effects in participants.
Conclusion: There is one Nordic study that has evaluated the effect of the intervention. The study has relatively good research methodological quality, and effect sizes calculated to be small to moderate. The main finding was an improvement in the quality of parent-sibling communication over time. Secondary findings were improvement in the sibling\u27s mental health symptoms and adaptation to the disability, as well as increased knowledge about the disability. It is therefore considered that there is an indication that theintervention is effective, but more effect studies that include a control group are necessary to establish that the intervenytion is effective for many in the target group.
SIBS is classified at evidence level 3 – as an intervention with some documentation of effect.Bakgrunn: Denne artikkelen oppsummerer kunnskapen om effekten av søskenintervensjonen SIBS til barn med kroniske helsetilstander. Intervensjonen baserer seg på familiesystemisk teori med elementer fra resiliensteori, familiekommunikasjon, forståelse av sykdom og helsekunnskap samt kognitiv atferdsterapi. Intervensjonen er et manualbasert gruppetiltak der søsken og en forelder deltar over fem økter. Tre av de fem øktene er separate barne- og foreldregrupper. Det overordnede målet er å styrke kvaliteten på kommunikasjonen mellom foreldre og barn for slik å redusere risiko for utvikling av psykiske plager hos søsken som pårørende. Tiltaket tilbys av Frambu kompetansesenter for sjeldne diagnoser som gir opplæring i tiltaket og utdanner gruppeledere. Det eies av Frambu og Universitetet i Oslo.

Resultater:En nordisk effektstudie av tiltaket SIBS ble identifisert og inkludert. Effektstudien som hadde et pre-posttest design uten kontrollgruppe, var gjennomført i Norge og inkluderte søsken-foreldre dyader. Tiltaket er godt beskrevet i manualer, og tiltaket har en god teoretisk begrunnelse. Effektstudien er samlet sett evaluert til å ha god forskningsmetodisk kvalitet, men noe svakere indre og ytre validitet grunnet mangel på kontrollgruppe, høyt frafall og kjennetegn ved familiene. Effektstørrelsene i studien var små til moderate. Tiltaket har samlet sett god implementeringsstrategi, men mangler spesifisering av hvordan etterlevelse av kjernekomponentene i tiltaket sikres og hvordan førstelinjen kan registrerer utbytte og vedlikehold av effekter hos deltakere.
Konklusjon: Det foreligger en nordisk studie som har evaluert effekten av tiltaket. Studien har relativt god forskningsmetodisk kvalitet, og effektstørrelser beregnet til små og moderat. Hovedfunnet var bedring i kvaliteten på foreldre-søsken kommunikasjon over tid. Sekundære funn var bedring i søskens psykiske helsesymptomer og tilpasning til funksjonsnedsettelsen, samt økt kunnskap om funksjonsnedsettelsen. Det vurderes derfor at det er indikasjon på at tiltaket er virksomt, men flere effektstudier som inkluderer kontrollgruppe er nødvendig for å slå fast at tiltaket er virksomt for mange i målgruppen.

Kunnskapsoppsummering og klassifisering av tiltaket: TFCO - Treatement Foster Care Oregon (1. utg.)
Background: Treatment Foster Care Oregon (TFCO) is a treatment method for youth with severe behavioral problems and their families. Overall, the goals are to achieve good treatment results for young people\u27s difficulties, and that young people should be able to live at home with their parents rather than be placed in long-term foster or residential care. TFCO is a multisystemic, coordinated form of treatment, where professionals work with several relevant arenas for young people in parallel, such as, family, school, mental health care, and free time. During the treatment period, the young person lives temporarily in a foster home, and then gradually move home with their parents. The National Development Center for Children and Young People (NUBU), is responsible for implementing and supervising TFCO in Norway.
Method: The present knowledge summary is based on a systematic literature search in the databases Embase, Medline, PsychInfo, NORART, Cochrane, Cristin, NORA, SCOPUS and SweMed. International knowledge databases have been searched for studies demonstrating evidence of effects as well as information about the intervention obtained from the owner of TFCO. Literature searches and other information were reviewed to identify Nordic impact studies, international summary studies, and other Norwegian studies about the measure.
Results: The results consist of an assessment of the measure\u27s description, existing effect studies, research methodological quality, and implementation quality. In this review, we identified 4 Nordic effectiveness studies as well as 14 international summaries and assessments in databases about the intervention. Overall, the studies document effects on crime, the number of days in locked conditions, negative behavior, and drug problems. It is somewhat unclear whether the measure has effects on psychosocial outcome measures.
Conclusion: TFCO is classified at level 4; an intervention with satisfactory documentation of effects.Bakgrunn: Treatment Foster Care Oregon (TFCO) er en behandlingsmetode for ungdommer med alvorlige atferdsvansker og deres familier. Overordnet er målene å oppnå gode behandlingsresultater på ungdommens vansker, og at ungdommene skal kunne bo hjemme hos foreldrene. TFCO er en multisystemisk, koordinert behandlingsform, der man arbeider med flere relevante arenaer for ungdommen parallelt, som for eksempel familie, skole, psykisk helsehjelp og fritid. I behandlingsperioden bor ungdommen midlertidig i et fosterhjem, for så å flytte gradvis hjem til foreldrene. Nasjonalt utviklingssenter for barn og unge (NUBU) har ansvaret for metoden i Norge.
Metode: Denne kunnskapsoppsummeringen bygger på et systematisk litteratursøk i databasene Embase, Medline og Psykinfo, NORART, Cochrane, Cristin, NORA, SCOPUS og SweMed. Det er også søkt i internasjonale kunnskapsdatabaser om evidens samt innhentet informasjon om tiltaket fra tiltakseier. Litteratursøk og annen innhentet informasjon ble gjennomgått for å identifisere nordiske effektstudier, internasjonale oppsummeringsstudier og eventuelt andre norske studier om tiltaket.
Resultater: Resultatene består av en vurdering av tiltakets beskrivelse, foreliggende effektstudier, forskningsmetodisk kvalitet og implementeringskvalitet. I denne kunnskapsoppsummeringen identifiserte vi 2 nordiske effektstudier samt 14 internasjonale oppsummeringer og vurderinger i databaser om tiltaket. Samlet sett synes studiene å kunne dokumentere effekter på kriminalitet, antall dager i innelåste betingelser, negativ atferd og rusproblemer. Det er noe mer uklart om tiltaket har effekter på psykososiale utfallsmål.
Konklusjon: TFCO klassifiseres på nivå 4 som et tiltak med tilfredsstillende dokumentasjon på effekt
CAGE16-3 Cruise Report: CAGE-PWC April Cruise to the western Svalbard margin
From the afternoon of April 22nd to the early morning of May 1st 2016, CAGE at the Department of Geology Uit, the Arctic University of Norway, arranged a scientific cruise aimed at investigating sediment cores and pore water, water masses, and planktonic faunas, at the western Svalbard margin and western Barents Sea slope, also visiting methane seep sites off Vestnesa Ridge, Prins Karls Forland (PKF) and in Storfjorden Trough on R/V “Helmer Hanssen”. Investigated areas were (in order of visiting sites on the cruise): PKF, Vestnesa Ridge, PKF again, Storfjorden Trough and Storfjorden. This cruise can be regarded as a continuance of the previous cruise February 8-15, 2016, where all seep sites at Vestnesa Ridge and PKF were abandoned because of bad weather conditions. In April we hope to reach Vestnesa and PKF to get the cores we missed in February. The scientific sampling was done within the framework of several ongoing projects at the Department of Geology, University of Tromsø: “CAGE -Centre for Arctic Gas hydrate, Environment and Climate”, in which the sub-projects Paleo-CIRCUS and “OA-Ocean Acidification” are included.
A total of 10 gravity cores, 3 multinet casts and 14 CTD (conductivity-temperature-depth) casts were performed along the western Svalbard margin (Vestnesa and PKF). Data were also collected in Storfjorden Trough and Storfjorden, no brine overflow detected in April either.
Chirp profiles and multibeam lines were acquired during transits and in small surveys at potential core sites over outer Vestnesa, PKF and in Storfjorden filling previous gaps in records from earlier cruises.

Arctic Marine Geology and Geophysics cruise to the northern Svalbard Margin and the Yermak Plateau
From the evening of July 23rd to the morning of August 1st, the Department of Geosciences at UiT The Arctic University of Norway, arranged an educational cruise to the northern Svalbard Margin/Yermak Plateau (Figure 1) for the courses GEO-3144 and GEO-8144 (Marine geology and geophysics cruise). The main aim of the cruise was to introduce the students to work at sea, which included acquisition of marine geological data (acoustic data and sediment cores) and lab analyses of split gravity cores. The students worked 12-hour shifts during the cruise

Cruise CAGE-17-3
The overall goal of cruise CAGE 17-3 is to collect seismic, multibeam and water column data in an area along the northern flank of the Bear island trough and on the W-Svalbard margin. The objectives associated with the overall goal are to better understand the occurrence of gas hydrates and fluid leakage, the source of the gas in these systems, and seafloor expressions of fluid seepage. In order to address these objectives we plan to carry out:
2D and 3D P-Cable seismic and ocean-bottom seismic acquisition over a complex leakage and source-to-sink plumbing system in the Leirdjupet Fault complex in the SW Barents Sea;Recovery of one of CAGE’s ocean floor observatory from the crater area at the northern flank of the Bear Island Trough;Repeat of P-Cable 3D seismic acquisition on the eastern segment of the Vestnesa Ridge for time-lapse seismic studies of fluid flow and gas hydrates dynamics;2D multi-channel seismic for reconnaissance and stratigraphic correlation in the Molloy Ridge area;Multibeam mapping to fill in gaps and improve resolution of existing data using the upgraded EM302 system on R/V Helmer Hanssen

Young video game players’ self-identified toxic gaming behaviour: An interview study
In this study we analyze negative behaviour in the context of digital gaming through interviews of players (N=12) aged 16–27 who self-reported as having behaved in a manner they acknowledged as toxic. Through thematic analysis of the interviews, we highlight three central themes: Games as affective spaces; affordances and norms facilitating negative behaviours; and players’ navigation of negative behaviours. Our study demonstrates the situational and affective nature of negative behaviour and offers solutions for reducing it in gaming.

Mooring Service Cruise (MSC) 2022: Cruise Report
The main objective of the cruise was to retrieve and deploy ocean moorings in the north-western Barents Sea and on the continental slope north of Kvitøya for the Nansen Legacy and A-TWAIN projects. A secondary objective was to perform hydrographic surveys in regions of Atlantic Water inflow and other regions of interest. In addition, the cruise aided other research groups by deployment and recovery of minor equipment at sites along the cruise trajectory.
In general, mooring operations were conducted during day hours, while nights were used to collect CTD data along various transects. Mooring work was completed quickly, efficiently, and ahead of schedule. This left ample time for additional pre-planned hydrographic surveys after the mooring work was complete.
The cruise departed from Longyearbyen in the afternoon on 02.10.2022. An IMR ARGO float was deployed north of Spitsbergen the day after. On the following day, the ship operated for three days in the area around the A-TWAIN mooring array on the continental slope north of Kvitøya. Here, four moorings were recovered, and four were deployed, and hydrographic transects (CTDs) were conducted across the Atlantic Water inflow current and across northern Kvitøya Trough.
After transiting south from the A-TWAIN area on the evening of 06.10.2022, another transect was conducted at night across the southern outlet of Kvitøya Trough. Mooring work began the following morning at the Nansen Legacy M1 location in the north-western Barents Sea. Two moorings were recovered and redeployed. Afterwards, a cross-slope transect was conducted intersecting the M1 mooring location. In the following days, consecutive transects were conducted into the through extending from M1 to Hartogbukta, along the Storisstraumen glacier front, from Storisstraumen southeast across the ocean basin, and along the bathymetric saddle west of Kong Karls Land.
During the transit back north and west, an additional brief transect was conducted outward from Wahlenbergfjorden into the Hinlopen Trough, to obtain data from a fjord with tidewater glaciers that are likely not influenced by Atlantic Water. On 10.10.2022 an NPI radio transmitter was retrieved from the island of Moffen by small boat. The ship then transited back to Longyearbyen, arriving in port on the evening of 11.10.2022.
Overall, the cruise was highly successful. All planned operations were completed in good time, allowing room for extensive hydrographic surveying as well as two minor deployment and recovery operations for other research groups. The success was in part due to fair weather during the first five days of the cruise and completely sea ice-free seas throughout. This allowed mooring work to take place in favourable conditions in an area where operations are often hampered by wind, swell, and sea ice. However, we would also like to highlight the competence and professionalism of the crew of the Kronprins Haakon as a key factor in the success of the cruise. Cooperation and communication with crewmembers on deck and on the bridge were excellent throughout. In addition, the cruise participants efficiently completed all the planned objectives despite the small size of the team (7 team members)
CAGE20-0 Cruise Report: From Seep to Source – Lofoten Canyons and PL998 license
The cruise to the Atlantic-Arctic gateway region is organized and funded through the Geological Survey of Norway (NGU) and focuses on studies of methane leakage at the seafloor on the Mid Norwegian shelf and continental margin. Cruise 20200108 in June 2020 was directed to two areas to study ongoing seepage of hydrocarbons and their controlling factors. Along the Lofoten margin, to investigate the outcropping bedrock structures in two canyons; on the Mid-Norwegian shelf, to inspect a recently discovered seep site.
