Reconfigurar el sistema educativo: Feliciano Lorenzo Gelices y la política de igualdad de oportunidades en el franquismo (1948-1968)
Este trabajo tiene por objetivo analizar las investigaciones desarrolladas por Feliciano Lorenzo Gelices en relación al concepto de igualdad de oportunidades en educación. El autor sujeto a estudio fue el Secretario Técnico de la Comisaría de Protección Escolar y Asistencia Social del Ministerio de Educación Nacional. A pesar de ser un personaje desconocido dentro de los estudios sobre el franquismo, se trata del intelectual orgánico de la Comisaría de Protección Escolar y el principal teórico sobre la igualdad de oportunidades en educación de la dictadura. El análisis de su enfoque y propuestas pueden ayudarnos a comprender mejor cuál fue la naturaleza educativa de este periodo histórico. Este artículo señala la necesidad de adquirir una nueva mirada sobre los estudios relativos al franquismo y la educación, así como desarrollar una perspectiva historiográfica más compleja sobre esta época
Assessment and Experimental Validation of Grid-Forming Inverters’ Capability Counteracting Low-Frequency Oscillations
The integration of inverter-based resources (IBRs) is reshaping power grid 1
operation by reducing system inertia, which impacts small-signal rotor angle stability and 2
increases low-frequency oscillations (LFOs). While power electronics based Flexible AC 3
Transmission systems (FACTS) have been the primary solution, the shift of IBR control 4
toward grid-forming (GFM) is changing this approach. GFM control inherently provides 5
inertia and affects small-signal stability, but implementing power oscillation damping 6
(POD) algorithms in these inverters presents challenges, particularly regarding active 7
power based ones (POD-P). Although various POD-P solutions are emerging for GFM 8
inverters, few studies evaluate their impact on the GFM device itself and their inherent 9
capabilities, such as inertia and damping. This paper proposes that any design methodology 10
should consider, besides the impact of POD controls on the grid, their effect on the GFM 11
devices properties. It introduces a theoretical framework using the network frequency 12
perturbation (NFP) approach to assess this impact. Additionally, a simple POD-P control 13
method is proposed for GFM controllers, with simplicity as its key advantage. The desired 14
damping effect, along with the absence of impact on other frequency components, is 15
verified through NFP analysis. The theoretical findings are experimentally validated with 16

of wind turbines, it has not sufficiently addressed strategies to mitigate their impact. This study examines a leading turbine manufacturer
with a
strong
environmental
management
record
to
explore
solutions.
Life
cycle
thinking
has
optimised
manufacturing,
reduced
environmental
impacts
during
installation
and
operation,
improved
maintenance,
extended
lifespan
and
supported
turbine
decommissioning.
However,
its
effectiveness
is
hindered
by
several
challenges.
Continuous
improvement
is
not
fully
embedded
in
processes.
Barriers
include
limited
environmental
awareness
among
design
teams
and
executives,
resistance
to
change
and
the
absence
of
clear
criteria
for
selecting
tools.
Poor
data
quality
and
transparency
across
the
value
chain
also
complicate
life
cycle
assessments.
To
address
these
issues,
this
study
recommends
developing
new
eco-
design
criteria,
training
teams,
applying
change
management
strategies
and
improving
data
tools
and
access.
Dynamic
life
cycle
assessments
can
reduce
costs
and
reporting
time,
while
enhancing
communication
strategies
can
increase
customer
awareness
of
environmental
benefits.
Public
administration
must
support
‘green’
markets
by
implementing
strategic
plans
with a
more
ambitious
legislation.
These
measures
will
advance
product
development,
reduce
environmental
impact
across
the
life
cycle
and
strengthen
both
corporate
strategies
and
public
policy
Synergistic effects of Pt-doping in Ni/Al2O3 catalysts for hydrogen storage using benzyltoluene as LOHC
This study explores Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carriers (LOHCs) like benzyltoluene as a promising alternative for efficient hydrogen storage. In response to the common use of noble metal-based catalyst in the literature, this work focuses on the synthesis of cost-effective Ni-based formulations with small quantities of PGMs. The prepared Ni catalyst exhibited outstanding hydrogenation performance with a hydrogenation yield ∼100 % within 3 h. Furthermore, the incorporation of mall amount (0.5 wt%) of Pt into the catalysts proved to boost the hydrogenation activity due to synergistic Pt–Ni interactions. Spout diameter in fine particle conical spouted beds: Assessing the influence of draft tubes by PTV
The spout diameter is an essential parameter for designing spouted bed contactors, as it conditions the gas–solid contact and heat and mass transfer rates. Several correlations have been proposed in the literature to estimate the spout size, but they do not provide accurate results in beds made up of fine particles, especially when they are equipped with open-sided draft tubes. Accordingly, the spout–annulus interface has been determined by means of Particle Tracking Velocimetry (PTV) and the spout shape has been delineated under different operating conditions in fountain confined conical spouted beds of varying geometric parameters. The air inlet diameter and gas velocity, as well as the aperture ratio of the open-sided draft tubes, are the parameters of greatest influence. Ellipse at 0° and 90° comparison at low Reynolds numbers for time-resolved Shake-The-Box measurements
Vortex shedding dynamics and aerodynamic forces of an ellipse of aspect ratio of 0.67 are studied at 0 and 90 relative to the flow across a Reynolds number range of 550–5500. Using time-resolved Shake-The-Box measurements, the evolution of vortex structures is studied together with lift and drag coefficients, Strouhal numbers, and wake characteristics. At 0, the flow remains more attached, leading to lower drag, lower lift fluctuations, and higher shedding frequencies, as indicated by elevated Strouhal numbers. In contrast, at 90, the ellipse behaves as a bluff body, exhibiting stronger separation, higher drag, greater lift fluctuations, and lower shedding frequencies. Proper orthogonal decomposition analysis reveals key vortex distances, showing how separation and wake evolution change with increasing Reynolds number. Additionally, the transition from laminar to turbulent wake structures is observed, with three-dimensional instabilities affecting vortex coherence at high Reynolds numbers. Are you talking to me? How the choice of speech register impacts listeners’ hierarchical encoding of speech
Available online 31 March 2025Speakers accommodate their speech to meet the needs of their listeners, producing different speech registers. One such register is L2 Accommodation (L2A), which is the way native speakers address non- native listeners, typically characterized by features such as slow speech rate and phonetic exaggeration. Here, we investigated how register impacts the cortical encoding of speech at different levels of language integration. Specifically, we tested the hypothesis that enhanced comprehension of L2A compared with Native Directed Speech (NDS) involves more than just a slower speech rate, influencing speech processing from acoustic to semantic levels. Electroencephalography (EEG) signals were recorded from Spanish native listeners, who were learning English (L2 learners), and English native listeners (L1 listeners) as they were presented with audio- stories. Speech was presented in English in three different speech registers: L2A, NDS, and a control register (Slow- NDS) which is a slowed down version of NDS. We measured the cortical encoding of acoustic, phonological, and semantic information with a multivariate temporal response function analysis (TRF) on the EEG signals. We found that L2A promoted L2 learners’ cortical encoding at all the levels of speech and language processing considered. First, L2A led to a more pronounced encoding of the speech envelope. Second, phonological encoding was more refined when listening to L2A, with phoneme perception getting closer to that of L1 listeners. Finally, L2A also enhanced the TRF- N400, a neural signature of semantic integration. Conversely, L2A impacted acoustic but not linguistic speech encoding in L1 listeners. In contrast, slow- NDS altered the cortical encoding of sound acoustics in L1 listeners but did not impact semantic or phonological encoding. Taken together, these results support our hypothesis that L2A accommodates speech processing in L2 listeners beyond what can be achieved by simply speaking slowly, impacting the cortical encoding of sound and language at different abstraction levels. Programa de educación para la salud para adolescentes sobre la resistencia bacteriana a antibióticos
Introducción: La resistencia a los antibióticos (RA) es una amenaza global creciente, comparable al cambio climático y la COVID-19. Esta advertencia nos enfrenta a una era en la que enfermedades comunes serían nuevamente mortales. El abordaje de la RA requiere un enfoque multidisciplinar, donde el rol educativo de la enfermera en el empleo adecuado de los antibióticos resulta clave. Las escuelas, en particular, representan un espacio estratégico para fomentar la conciencia y prevención desde edades tempranas.
Objetivo: Diseñar un programa de Educación para la Salud sobre la resistencia a los antibióticos dirigido a jóvenes de 15 a 16 años.
Metodología: Se ha realizado una búsqueda en diferentes bases de datos mediante el uso de una pregunta PIO formulada en base al objetivo.
Planificación: Para el desarrollo de este Programa, se han definido diferentes objetivos educativos y actividades para su consecución. Se han detallado los contenidos formativos, las estrategias de enseñanza y los recursos materiales, organizativos y humanos previstos. Así mismo, se propone un sistema de evaluación que comprende la estructura, el proceso y los resultados del programa.

Dataset composed of multi-sensor monitoring data of the Laser Beam Directed Energy Deposition (DED-LB) process and experimental data of the deposited material geometry. The monitoring data consists of the temperature and diameter of the melt pool, powder flow as measured by a flow watch and instantaneous feed rate values. The geometrical data includes the width, height, depth, clad area and dilution area of the deposited material, measured through surface topography and cross section analysis. The experimental data points are matched in number to the monitoring data using data augmentation techniques. __
The aforementioned data is extracted from reference and deviated conditions in the process. The deviated parameters include the laser power (P), feedrate (F) and powder mass flow (Q), which are set to 80, 90, 110 and 120%, in addition to the working distance (WD) which is varied by ±1 and 2 mm. The resulting in 42 single clads with 20 distinct processing conditions
