DIAGNOSI E INTERVENTO NEI SERVIZI DI PSICOLOGIA SCOLASTICA: CONFRONTO TRA LE OPINIONI DEGLI INSEGNANTI, DEGLI PSICOLOGI E DEGLI STUDENTI UNIVERSITARI

    No full text

Screenshot News Within Italian Fringe Telegram Channels

    No full text
In the context of a fragmented and hybrid digital public sphere, Telegram has emerged as a paradigmatic fringe platform that hosts alternative epistemic communities operating at the margins of mainstream legitimacy. This article investigates the role of screenshots within Italian anti-mainstream Telegram channels, focusing on how these visual artifacts are mobilized to perform three interconnected functions: witnessing, amplifying, and proving. Through a qualitative methodology combining digital ethnography and thematic visual content analysis, the study analyzes a year of content shared in public Telegram channels linked to conspiratorial, anti-vaccine, and pro-Russian narratives. Findings show that screenshots operate as infrastructural tools of evidence-making and narrative alignment, anchoring oppositional readings of mainstream content and enabling affective forms of truth production. Two rhetorical figures emerge from the analysis: the watchdog, who surveils and exposes institutional actors and the investigative reporter, who frames screenshotting as an act of epistemic labor and populist expertise. By examining the sociotechnical affordances and symbolic uses of screenshots, this article conceptualizes ‘‘screenshot news’’ as a vernacular mode of knowledge production and dissemination that challenges traditional regimes of credibility, visibility, and authority. The study contributes to the understanding of fringe communication practices and the visual politics of truth in post-platformized media ecologies

Minori delinquenti e madri colpevoli.

    No full text

Efficacy of heparin on in-vitro fertilization outcomes: a systematic review and SWOT analysis

    No full text
Introduction: Embryo implantation is a crucial step in pregnancy that requires interaction between the embryo and the endometrial lining, facilitated by cytokines, growth factors, and adhesion molecules. Failures in this process are a leading cause of implantation failure and miscarriage in in-vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments. Heparin has shown potential to improve outcomes by enhancing endometrial receptivity, promoting angiogenesis, and modulating inflammatory responses. This study aims to provide an overview of the main characteristics of existing research on the role of heparin adjuvant therapy in IVF cycles. Evidence acquisition: A comprehensive bibliographic search was systematically conducted from inception to 2024, focusing on studies that evaluated the impact of heparin adjuvant therapy in IVF cycles and compared clinical outcomes between case and control groups. Evidence synthesis: A total of 31 studies were included. Most of the studies have focused on patients with recurrent implantation failure, defined using highly heterogeneous criteria across studies, as well as patients with both congenital and acquired thrombophilic disorders. Additionally, most of the studies involved small sample sizes. Conclusions: Current evidence does not adequately support the routine use of heparin in IVF cycles. To date, the research is plagued by methodological inconsistencies, which undermine both the reliability and the applicability of the findings

Characterization of the Meiobenthic Community Inhabiting the Zwin Coastal Lagoon (Belgium, the Netherlands) and the Role of the Sedimentary Environment.

Coastal waters are sensitive habitats that support high biodiversity and provide essential ecosystem goods. Changes in sedimentation regimes due to land-use and engineering activities in the coastal zone affect biodiversity and these habitats’ ecological value. This study aims to characterize the meiobenthic communities inhabiting the Zwin tidal lagoon, located on the border between Belgium and the Netherlands, and to evaluate to what extent the sedimentological characteristics and the quantity and composition of organic matter influence the composition and distribution of meiofauna. The meiobenthic community showed traits of a well-established population dominated by nematodes, followed by copepods + nauplii. Notably, meiofauna rapidly colonized the area after its opening to the sea in February 2019 (two years before sampling), showing that even very weak tidal currents were sufficient to suspend and transport these animals to the new environment. Our results suggest that the Zwin lagoon is a productive system with high food quality (i.e., PRT/CHO ≥ 1), predominantly of marine origin. Major structural differences in communities were related to the sedimentary environments at the investigated stations and estimations of the quantity of food. The present findings confirm that sedimentary dynamics and depositional processes, through their influence on sediment properties (e.g., grain size) and organic matter’s quantity and composition, shape meiofaunal communities and their vertical and horizontal distributions

Bantu verbal extensions between morphology and syntax

    No full text
Bantu languages represent a typical example of how morphology and syntax are deeply intertwined. Indeed, these agglutinative languages employ affixes, hence morphemes, to express relations that in other languages—like Italian or English—are conveyed by independent words, in syntax. In particular, in this work, I am going to discuss Bantu causative and applicative constructions, which are formed by means of verbal extensions, i.e., affixes that adjoin to verb stems in order to derive complex syntactic structures. Through the comparison with other languages, in particular Italian and English, we will argue that a biclausal analysis of Bantu causatives is tenable and, even more, this analysis can be extended to applicative and ditransitive verbs, taking into consideration the different behaviour of symmetrical and asymmetrical Bantu languages. Finally, we will discuss the peculiar situation of Italian, which behaves like symmetrical Bantu languages as concerns object pronominalization in the complex constructions under analysis; we will conclude that the co-occurrence of clitic pronouns is linked to their different morphological forms, which suggests that they occupy different positions in the clitic/affix string, underlying once more how morphology and syntax feed each other

    No full text
