Exchange Program for Psychiatric Nurses Who Work in Institute of Mental Health, Singapore
Full text linkThe number of foreign residents in Japan is increasing, making it necessary to provide care to international patients, which requires communication skills and cross‒cultural understanding. To address this need, the Otemae University Faculty of Global Nursing has partnered with several overseas medical institutions and universities to provide students with practical training at international medical institutions. In response to a request from the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) in Singapore, one of our partner institutions, we conducted a training program for four IMH nurses. This report outlines the exchange program for IMH nurses conducted at Otemae University and highlights future challenges.
The training took place over 10 days, from May 15 to May 26, 2023, at three facilities in Osaka Prefecture. The IMH nurses had the opportunity to experience psychiatric care in Japan, the warm culture of Japanese courtesy, and respect for others through these exchanges. The program was a valuable experience for the Japanese nurses who were motivated by learning about nursing practices in Singapore.departmental bulletin pape
コオロギ粉末を利用したうどんの加工によるアレルゲン低減についての検討
Full text link世界人口は2050年には97億人に達し、食糧を調達することが難しくなるという試算がFAOによりなされた。食糧難を救う手段の一つとして、たんぱく質やミネラルなどの栄養価が高く、短い時間で多くの個体を生産することができる昆虫が注目されている。しかし、ほとんどの昆虫は外骨格を有し、アレルゲンとなる物質を持つことが知られている。このアレルギー物質は、エビ・カニのアレルゲンと同様の機序を持ち、エビ・カニにアレルギーを持つ者は食べる際に注意を要することが喚起されている。そこで、本研究では、昆虫食の中でも安価で市販品としても使用される頻度の高いコオロギ粉末を使用し、7種類のうどん（「生」を0回、80回、160回、320回踏んだもの、80回踏んだうどんを「茹で」たもの、「蒸し」たもの、「揚げ」たもの）を作成し、アレルゲン物質となるトロポミオシン量が加工により低減するのかを検討した。
踏むことによりトロポミオシン量は、0回や80回に比べ160回、320回で有意に少なく、また、トロポミオシン量は、「生」に比べ「茹で」、「蒸し」、「揚げ」の調理によって有意に低下した。
エビ・カニアレルギーを起こすトロポミオシンの量は、加工や調理により低減することが確認出来たが、昆虫にはそれ以外にも安全性を脅かすものが存在し、またアレルゲン物質は少量でも反応を起こすので、安心して食べるためには検討するべき事柄が多く存在する。新規食品の域を脱していない昆虫食であるが、安全に美味しく有効に利用されるためには更なる検討が必要であることが示唆された。departmental bulletin pape
家庭用LED水耕栽培装置を用いた高品質野菜栽培法の開発
Full text link家庭用LED水耕栽培を用いた栽培野菜の高品質化を目的としてその栽培方法を検討した。高品質化の1つとして硝酸イオン含量に着目し低硝酸含有野菜の栽培法を検討するとともに生重量、還元型アスコルビン酸含量について比較検討した。硝酸イオン含量の低減化栽培法として播種後3週目に水耕栽培装置の水耕液を肥料溶液から肥料を入れていない水に入れ替え栽培を１週間行なった結果、葉中硝酸イオン含量は1/3〜1/6程度に低下したが生重量は1/3程度であった。一方葉中還元型アスコルビン酸含量は2倍程度に増加した。本研究により栽培途中の肥料溶液を変更することで高品質野菜を栽培できる可能性が示された。departmental bulletin pape
患者参加型料理教室による管理栄養士の栄養指導に対する意識の変化
Full text link食事療法は患者が正しく理解して実践、継続することが重要であるが、十分な理解や食行動の変容につなげることは難しい。我々は、管理栄養士が食事療法に関する悩みを患者と共有することが、より良い栄養指導につながり、料理教室は患者の食事療法への理解を深めるだけでなく、管理栄養士が患者をより理解する場になるのではと考え、患者参加型料理教室による管理栄養士の栄養指導に対する意識の変化について検討を行った。
料理教室は、テーマを「減塩とエネルギーコントロール」として実施した。料理教室に参画した管理栄養士を対象としたアンケートを作成し、料理教室実施5～6ヶ月後に質問紙調査を行った。
料理教室に参画した管理栄養士は、患者には食事療法に関する多くの悩みがあると考えている一方で、管理栄養士も栄養指導が患者の取り組みにつながらないことに悩みを感じていた。料理教室は、患者が具体的な食事療法を学び、患者の悩みの解決に寄与するだけでなく、管理栄養士が患者の理解度や調理技術を把握することで、具体的な栄養指導につなげることができ、管理栄養士の悩みも解決できる場となる可能性が示唆された。departmental bulletin pape
看護系大学における国際看護教育の現状と今後の展望
No full text【目的】 本研究は、看護系大学における国際看護教育の実施状況を調査し、10年前の状況と比較することによって、今後の国際看護教育をさらに充実、発展させるために必要な示唆を得ることを目的とする。
【方法】 2024年3 月～同年5 月に日本看護系大学協議会に加盟する各大学のホームページで公開されているシラバスを研究者が1 校ずつ閲覧し、2013年に行われた同様の調査結果と比較した。
【結果】 国際看護教育を実施している大学は、2013年は216校中151校（69.9％）であったが、2023年は299校中258校（86.3％）であった。2023年で、最も多い科目名は「国際看護学」86校（33.3％）であり、教育開始時期は4 年次が115校（44.6％）と最も多く、必修科目として開講しているのは145校（56.2％）であり、そのうち116校（80.0％）が1 単位で開講されていた。
【結論】 過去10年間で看護系大学の国際看護教育は一般的なものとなってきた。国際看護教育をさらに充実、発展させるためには、早い段階からの継続的な教育で、すべての学生が国際的な視点を養える授業を提供する必要があると考える。Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the state of implementation of global nursing education in universities and to compare it with the situation 10 years ago, to obtain insight into further advancement and development of global nursing education in the future.
Methods : Between March and May 2024, we reviewed the syllabi published on the official websites of each university affiliated with the Japan Association of Nursing Programs in Universities, and compared the results with those of similar survey conducted in 2013.
Results : The number of universities implementing global nursing education was 151 of 216 (69.9%) in 2013, and 258 of 299 (86.3%) in 2023. In 2023, the most common course name in global nursing education was “Global Nursing (Kokusaikangogaku)” at 86 universities (33.3%) ; 115 universities (44.6%) began the course in the fourth year, 145 universities (56.2%) offered the course as a required course, of which 116 universities (80.0%) offered it for one credit.
Conclusion: Global nursing education in universities has become more common in the past decade. To further advance and develop global nursing education, it is necessary to provide continuous education from an early stage, ensuring that all students can cultivate a global perspective.departmental bulletin pape
大手前大学国際看護学部生の演習および実習における看護技術経験の現状
No full text目的： 大手前大学国際看護学部生の看護技術経験の実態調査を行い、看護技術到達度自己評価表の活用の評価および今後の課題を明らかにする。
方法： 2 、4 年次生のうち、研究協力の同意を得た学生の自己評価表からデータを収集し、看護技術項目ごとに単純集計後、記述統計し、先行研究と比較し分析した。
結果： 2 年次生は21名（有効回答率95.4％）、4 年次生は41名（有効回答率77.3％）の評価表を分析対象とした。本学部で設定した到達目標への看護基本技術経験の到達割合が80％を超える項目数を抽出したところ、2 年次生では70項目中11項目、4 年次生では27項目中7 項目であった。
結論： 看護基本技術経験の到達割合が80％を超える項目数は、先行研究は2 年次生18項目、4 年次生12項目であり、これらと比較すると本学部の看護技術経験の到達度割合が80％を超える項目数は少なかった。この結果から自己評価表が学生にとって十分なメリットをもたらしていない可能性があり、活用方法について再検討が必要であることが示唆された。Objective : To assess the actual level of nursing skills experience among students of Faculty of Global Nursing, Otemae University, to evaluate the use of the nursing skills experience self‒evaluation chart, and to identify future challenges.
Methods : Self‒evaluation data were collected from second‒ and fourth‒year students who consented to participate. After basic tabulation for each nursing skill item, descriptive statistics were compiled and analyzed in comparison with previous studies.
Results : Evaluation forms from 21 second‒year students (95.4% valid response rate) and 41 fourth‒year students (77.3% valid response rate) were analyzed. The number of items that exceeded 80% of the attainment rate of basic nursing skills, as determined by the attainment goal set by the department, was extracted. 11 out of 70 items for the second‒year students and 7 out of 27 items for the fourth‒year students were selected.
Conclusion : In a previous study, the number of items in which the percentage of attainment of experience in basic nursing skills exceeded 80% was 18 items for second‒year students
and 12 items for fourth‒year students. Compared to these results, the number of items in which the percentage of attainment of experience in nursing skills exceeds 80% in our
department was lower. These findings suggest that the self‒evaluation chart may not be sufficiently beneficial for students, highlighting the need to reconsider its method of

No full textJBI（Joanna Briggs Institute）はオーストラリアのアデレード大学に本部を置く世界的研究機関であり、毎年JBI の支部長（ディレクター）が一堂に会し、ディレクター会議が開催される。本稿では、チェコ共和国にて開催された第72回Joanna Briggs Institute Collaboration ミーティングおよびアジア地域支部会議での討論内容と今後のJBI の活動について報告する。さらに、5 周年を迎えた大手前大学インプレメンテーションセンターのこれまでの活動実績とJBI の使命、それを踏まえた本センターの今後の役割について報告する。JBI (The Joanna Briggs Institute) is a global research institute headquartered at the University of Adelaide, Australia. This paper reports on the discussions at the 72nd JBI Director’s Meeting and the Asian Regional Chapter Meeting held in the Czech Republic, as well as on JBI’s future activities. In addition, we will report on the past activities of the Otemae University Imprementation Center, which celebrated its 5th anniversary, the mission of the JBI, and the future role of the Center in light of these activities.departmental bulletin pape
