Changes in sexual behavior and satisfaction and violent behavior during COVID-19 lockdown: explorative results from the italian cross-sectional study of the I-SHARE multi-country project
Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has had effects on sexual and reproductive health and intimate partner violence (IPV). This study aims to describe changes in sexual health and IPV in the Italian population both during and after the lockdowns. Methods: This cross-sectional online study was conducted, as part of the I-SHARE multicountry project, between June 2020 and January 2021. Recruitment was carried out through convenience sampling; a total of 329 participants were included in the analysis. A generalized linear model was used to analyze the difference in sexual health and IPV variables before, during, and after the lockdown. Results: Fifty-three percent of the participants reported having sexual problems during the first wave of the pandemic. Sexual satisfaction decreased during the first wave, and then, returned to the pre-lockdown level. While during the lockdown, some activities were reduced (such as kissing, cuddling, and sexual activities with a steady partner), for other activities, no difference was reported (such as masturbation, sexual activities with casual partners, or sexting). Few participants reported having issues accessing HIV testing and contraception. There was no difference in terms of physical and sexual violence, while there was a significant decrease in feeling vulnerable to sexual or physical assault during the first wave. Conclusions: The first wave of the pandemic has had significant effects on sexual health. This should be taken into consideration when preparing for future epidemics and health emergencies

L’educazione affettiva nelle scuole paritarie.
Producing digital artifacts to counter digital education poverty in the logic of third space learning
Since 2021, the Research Centre on Media Education, Innovation and Technology (Cremit) has been proposing to use the new construct of “digital educational poverty”, overcoming and expanding the concept of “digital divide”. In terms of defining the paradigm, it should be emphasized that the concept of digital educational poverty is the result of the hybridization of two “digital competence’ reference frameworks”. One is based on a rights perspective, while the other focuses more on the dynamism and transdisciplinary nature of New Literacy, stressing how a segmented approach betrays the “citizenship vocation” of digital competence. The study analyzes a sample of 214 digital artifacts produced by lower secondary school students from 100 schools, that are the outcomes of the newsrooms (Digital Writing: Wikipedia, Online Petition; Podcast: Review, Investigation; Digital Storytelling; Social Marketing), i.e. third learning spaces. They come from the project “Connessioni Digitali”, created by Save the Children together with Cremit and Edi Onlus to combat digital educational poverty. The artifacts will be analyzed both according to some indicators of the aesthetic, critical and ethical dimensions of digital competence and to the dimensions of the design and the implementation process leading to “Onlife Citizenship”. From the analysis of the artifacts of “Connessioni Digitali”, emerge both the complexity of the concept of digital competence, and the need to equip oneself with multiple methodologies and teaching tools to place the creation of concrete media products and the planning of communication strategies
The Supreme Court ruled again on the problematic question between the typification of disciplinary offenses in the CCNL and the power of the judge to overcome it. In this ordinance, the Supreme Court reaffirms the insufficiency of an investigation that limits itself to verifying whether the fact is attributable to the provisions of collective bargaining, being It is always necessary to concretely evaluate whether the behaviour, due to its severity, is likely to shake the trust of the employer and lead to the belief that the continuation of the relationship will result in a detriment to the company’s objectives, with particular attention to conduct of the worker which denotes a lack of inclination to diligently implement the obligations undertaken and to comply with the canons of good faith and correctness
Corporate Social Responsibility in Healthcare: An Empirical Observation
Contemporary society requires every organization to operate with a sense of social
responsibility. Many organizations, including those in the healthcare sector, now
include corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities in their work programs.
Today, healthcare organizations have different choices and tools to communicate
their CSR activities. The use of traditional means of communication of CSR (social,
sustainability and integrated reports, codes of ethics, certification standards, etc.) is
often integrated with the implementation of interactive communication technologies
(internet, websites, social media, social networks, mobile apps) that have gained ground year after year. This paper analyzes how new technologies support the
development and attention of CSR in the healthcare sector
Are they Twins or Only Friends? The Redundancy and Complementarity of Energy Poverty Indicators in Italy
A large body of literature has developed numerous unidimensional and multidimensional indicators to identify energy-poor households, also with the aim of targeting public policies. They all have pros and cons and may identify different populations. How do they relate to each other? How should they be used in a country such as Italy where energy poverty has not yet been officially defined? We frame these research questions in a context of general social vulnerability in which several dimensions of poverty intersect. Using SILC data (EU and IT modules) for the period 2004–2015 we compare four widely used unidimensional indicators and provide evidence—for the Italian case—that complementarity among the indicators prevails since the complexity of energy poverty requires a combination of metrics to capture various vulnerabilities. Our results confirm the set of relevant factors affecting the probability of being energy poor which are indicated in the related economics literature, regardless of which indicator is used. They may help tailor policies to tackle the phenomenon. Based on these findings, we strongly support the idea of using a dashboard of different metrics to measure energy poverty to design effective policies
MaMoReS: A Robust Tool for Evaluating Supply Chain Resilience Through Systematic Literature and Network Analysis
Nowadays, disruptive events pose significant threats to organizations, making resilience a critical focus. Evaluating supply chain resilience is essential to avoid escalating disruptions. However, the literature on this topic is fragmented, and the assessment of resilience remains an open gap due to the lack of a clear definition of the dimensions and elements for its evaluation. To fill this gap, this study integrates a systematic literature review (SLR) and a systematic literature network analysis (SLNA) to propose a MAturity MOdel for REsilient Supply Chains (MaMoReS). Through content analysis and stringent selection of 15 resilience maturity models (ResMMs) via SLR, along with an SLNA on 6,474 sources, this method defines dimensions and sub-dimensions. The proposed Ma-MoReS is framed around five levels and five dimensions: risk management, agility, flexibility and adaptability, redundancy and robustness, transparency and visibility, and collaboration and rela-tionships. The MaMoReS is applied to two case studies, pinpointing the practicality of the MaMoReS for measuring the resilience maturity level of the two companies along with their dimensions and sub-dimensions scoring. Thus, the MaMoReS can be used as an assessment tool by supply chain managers and researchers to evaluate the resilience of a supply chain
