L’articolo tematizza la questione dell’indole umana chiedendosi perché e come essa abbia a che fare con la pedagogia. Indaga le morfologie
dell’indole fra genetica ed epigenetica, scoprendone il principio di pertinenza con
la Bildung nella dialettica tra originarietà e trasformazione. Ipotizzando altresì
che esista un’indole sociale, il saggio giunge infine a considerare l’assoluto e il
relativo dell’indole nel rapporto tra vero e falso, giusto e ingiusto, bene e male,

Innate and SARS-CoV-2 specific adaptive immune response kinetic in neutralizing monoclonal antibody successfully treated COVID-19 patients
The impact of anti-Spike monoclonal antibody (mAbs) treatment on the immune response of COVID19-patients is poorly explored. In particular, a comparison of the immunological influence of different therapeutic regimens has not yet been performed. Aim of the study was to compare the kinetic of innate and adaptive immune response as well as the SARS-CoV2 specific humoral and T cell response in two groups of SARS-CoV-2-infected patients treated with two different mAbs regimens: Bamlanivimab/Etesevimab (BAM/ETE) or Casirivimab/Imdevimab (CAS/IMD). SARS-CoV-2-infected patients (n = 39) with mild/moderate disease were enrolled before (T0) and after 7 days (T7) and 30 day (T30) from mAbs infusion. Patients were divided in two groups on the basis of the mAb regimen: BAM/ETE (n = 15) and CAS/IMD (n = 24). The phenotype/function of immune cell subsets was evaluated by flow-cytometry and by ELISA. The Spike-specific T cell response (IFN-gamma) and anti-Nucleocapside IgG were evaluated by chemiluminescence assay. SARS CoV-2 RNA in nasal swabs was evaluated by RT-PCR. Eleven out of the thirty-nine enrolled patients tested negative at T7, among which nine (81.8 %) had been treated with CAS/IMD regimen. A comparable increase in CD4 and CD8 T cells was observed in both treatment groups. Moreover, a reduction of CD38 expression on T (CD4, CD8 and V delta 2) and on NK cells was observed in both groups, as well as a reduction overtime of the perforin expression in T (CD8, V delta 2) and in NK cells reaching significance only in CAS/IMD-treated patients. The SARS-CoV-2-specific T cells response increased at T7 in BAM/ETE-treated patients and at T30 in CAS/IND group. Of note, at T30 SARS-CoV2-specific T cells was higher in CAS/IMD than in BAM/ETE group. Furthermore, the titre of anti-N IgG increased overtime in both groups with a faster kinetic in CAS/IMD group. The Stability of Manganese Oxides Under Laser Irradiation During Raman Analyses: I. Compact Versus Channel Structures
Manganese oxides/oxyhydroxides (MnOx) are based on Mnn+O6 and Mnn+O4 polyhedra arranged such as to form compact, channel or layered structures. In geology, they are precious archives of past redox conditions for palaeoclimatic reconstructions; in material sciences, they are used for a variety of applications, from pigments to environmental remediation and energy storage. Thus, the fast, remote and non-destructive identification of MnOx is critical in several disciplines. Micro-Raman spectroscopy is often used for this purpose, although a systematic characterization of their stability under the laser beam is still lacking. In this work, we present our results on the behaviour of the most common MnOx having compact and channel structures when a 532-nm laser with intensity between ~23 μW/μm2 and ~36.8 mW/μm2 is used. The compact structures of manganosite (NaCl-like) and hausmannite (spinel-like) are stable up to ~36.8 mW/μm2. The stability of oxides with channel structures depends on channel size, charge of channel cations and valence state of Mn. Hausmannite is the final degradation product of all MnOx with channel structures, irrespective of the starting phase. Pyrolusite, manganite, hollandite and romanéchite are relatively stable under the laser beam, and the transition to the spinel structure occurs above 2.5 mW/μm2 while the degradation of cryptomelane and todorokite starts ~226 μW/μm2. The analysis of MnOx thus needs very accurate experimental conditions to avoid misleading and incorrect phase identifications. Based on our data, we propose an analytical protocol for a proper characterization of these minerals via Raman spectroscopy
