Lavoro e pregiudizi: studio dell’Ordine dei giornalisti sulle difficoltà legate alla genitorialità
L’evento presenta i risultati del primo studio italiano sul rapporto tra genitorialità e giornalismo, con particolare attenzione al fenomeno della motherhood penalty nella categoria professionale.
Promosso dall’Ordine dei Giornalisti della Campania e dalla Commissione Pari Opportunità, con il supporto del Dipartimento di Studi Aziendali e Quantitativi dell’Università Parthenope di Napoli, lo studio analizza un campione di 621 professionisti dell’informazione.
Attraverso modelli statistici e tecniche di text mining, la ricerca evidenzia l’impatto della genitorialità sulle carriere giornalistiche, le disuguaglianze di genere, la precarietà lavorativa e i pregiudizi culturali che ancora condizionano la categoria.
L’indagine promuove una riflessione sulle pari opportunità, l’inclusione e la necessità di politiche che rendano la genitorialità compatibile con la crescita professionale nel giornalismo
Mapping Technology Acceptance in Healthcare: Insights from a Systematic Review
This study investigates, through a systematic review of literature, the acceptance of digital health solutions. The digitalization of the healthcare system leads to several benefits increasing quality of care, efficiency of the processes, and reducing unnecessary costs. However, most of digital technologies need to be accepted by the actors of a system to be effective because someone’s behavior toward an innovation can affect its capability to provide value through outputs and outcomes. This work facilitates the understanding of the mechanisms below innovation acceptance considering different contexts, technologies, and actors and highlighting the specific needs and behaviors that regulate them. This analysis is expected to show actors’ reaction to digital health solutions across the years, using a multifaceted approach. The implications of this research include the identification of tailored and effective strategies that must be implemented by policy-makers and practitioners to foster the entrance of digital health technologies in the healthcare

Il contributo indaga la natura dei dati sanitari e come la circolazione di essi per usi secondari — in particolare per la ricerca scientifica — sia un’opportunità per la riduzione dei divari sanitari esistenti. In particolare, esamina le novità legislative attuate in occasione del Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza (PNRR), rilevandone limiti e accogliendo opportunità provenienti dal rinnovato quadro normativo europeo.This paper explores the nature of health data and how their circulation for secondary uses — particularly for scientific research — represents an opportunity to reduce existing healthcare disparities. It specifically examines the legislative developments introduced under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), highlighting their limitations while also embracing the opportunities offered by the European regulatory framework
Land surface temperature from Landsat 9 imagery compared with in situ air temperature measurements
Consequence of land–atmosphere interactions,
Land surface temperature (LST) is a key parameter for many
fields of Geosciences and the determination of the values it
assumes in specific areas occurs increasingly through the
processing of remote sensing data. The Thermal InfraRed
Sensor (TIRS) on board of Landsat-8 and Landsat-9 satellites,
for example, provide images acquired in two thermal bands, i.e.
B10 (10.60 μm - 11.19 μm) and B11 ( 11.50 μm - 12.51 μm), both
with resolution: 100 m x 100 m; these images, through
appropriate processing, allow mapping the variability of the
LST in the investigated area. Availability of LST values
measured in situ at the same time as the thermal image is
acquired, would allow to check the accuracy of the satellite
derived thermal map. However, data supplied by existing
monitoring weather stations refer to near land surface air
temperature (NLSAT) rather than LST. This study aims to
compare LST values derived from Landsat-9 thermal data with
NLSAT to quantify the effects of different land cover types on
temperature variations, specifically focusing on data collected
on August 12, 2024. Through this comparison, we seek to better
understand the spatial distribution of LST and its relationship
with urban and rural land cover types, contributing to more
effective urban heat mitigation strategies. Corine Land Cover
dataset is used to correlate temperature variations between LST
and NLSAT at weather station locations across specific land
cover types, enabling an analysis of how different soil
characteristics influence local temperature patterns. The results
confirm that vegetated areas tend to mitigate the temperature
differences between the surface and the air above, while
artificial areas, especially industrial zones, tend to amplify these
differences with higher LST values
Creative Urban Spaces: A Collaborative and Organisational View
The urban development processes rely on cities and urban communities that make efforts to support initiatives and policies that enhance the aims and the implementation of sustainable issues within urban spaces. In particular, cities are going smart not only by investing in human and organisational energies to make technology as a driver for sustainable urban growth, but also promoting cultural, civic and creative assets and inputs that make the city a culture-led and knowledge-driven socially innovative urban community, opening to creative urban spaces. Post-industrial cities increasingly are working to make and develop creative collaborative urban spaces. Cities of tomorrow will invest knowledge sources in driving creative-led and culture-driven initiatives that contribute to making collaborative urban spaces and driving sustainable and inclusive urban growth, leading to community development and engagement. The future of urban growth relies on promoting culture as an opportunity to develop inclusive and cohesive communities that contribute to making creative urban spaces. Creative hubs develop bottom-up initiatives, by involving artists and other creatives who are able to meet the needs of an artistic community, making creative meeting places as well as urban spaces. Creative urban spaces develop creativity-led processes and rely on creative cities and hubs as socially inclusive communities that rediscover the importance of collaborative innovation as a framework that helps shape wealthy urban spaces into engines of social innovation. The study aims at investigating the relationships between creative cities and hubs that are following a collaborative view to organisational as well as urban spaces, in order to drive social innovation and achieve social sustainability within creative urban spaces
