No full textLe présent document s’agit de la Commission économique pour l’Afrique (CEA) qu’a célébré aujourd’hui la treizième édition de la journée de langue chinoise par les Nations Unies (et le cinquième de cette occasion à la CEA) à Addis-Abeba, en Éthiopie a Addis-Abeba, Éthiopie, le 19 avril 2023. L’évènement a été organisé par la CEA en collaboration avec la Mission de la Chine auprès de l’Union africaine. La célébration a comporté une grande variété d’orateurs et de performances qui ont mis en évidence la richesse de la langue et de la culture chinoises. Lors de l’ouverture de l’évènement, le Secrétaire exécutif par intérim de la CEA, Antonio Pedro, a déclaré que cette célébration est l’occasion de reconnaître la contribution de la culture et de la langue chinoises à notre patrimoine commun, en tant que langue maternelle la plus parlée dans le monde. La célébration a été animée en anglais et en chinois par Chaoyi Hu, Chargée adjointe des affaires économiques pour la Division de la macroéconomie et de la gouvernance de la CEA
