This study investigates how 2d and 360 degree VR videos affect emotions
Bu tezde, iki boyutlu (2D) ve 360 derece sanal gerçeklik (VR) video içeriklerinin bireylerin duygu durumları üzerindeki etkileri deneysel olarak incelenmiştir. Araştırmada, YouTube ve YouTube VR platformlarından seçilen toplam dört video kullanılmıştır. Videolar, izleyicilerde sakinlik ve heyecan gibi farklı duygusal tepkiler uyandıracak şekilde yapılandırılmıştır. Katılımcılara 2D içerikler LED ekran aracılığıyla, 360 derece videolar ise VR gözlüğü yardımıyla izletilmiştir. Duygusal tepkiler, NeuroSky Mindwave Mobile 2 EEG cihazı kullanılarak kaydedilmiş, ölçümler üzerinden dikkat, rahatlama, stres ve heyecan gibi duygu durumları analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma yarı deneysel desenle yürütülmüş, katılımcılar cinsiyet ve video türüne göre değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular, 360 derece VR videoların dikkat, heyecan ve mutluluk gibi yüksek uyarılma düzeyine sahip duyguları artırırken; stres, üzüntü ve öfke gibi olumsuz duyguları baskıladığını göstermiştir. 2D videolar ise daha çok içsel düşünce ve gevşeme ile ilişkilendirilmiş, düşük yoğunluklu duyguların tetikleyicisi olmuştur. Cinsiyet temelli analizlerde, kadın katılımcıların 360 derece videolar sırasında delta ve teta dalgalarında artış gösterdiği ve bu durumun daha fazla rahatlama ve hayal gücüne işaret ettiği gözlenmiştir. Erkek katılımcılar ise beta ve gama dalgalarındaki artışla birlikte daha yoğun dikkat ve bilişsel uyarılma sergilemiştir. Özellikle 360 derece tren videolarının, dikkat ve heyecan seviyelerini belirgin şekilde artırdığı, öfke ve stres düzeylerini ise azalttığı tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, video formatının duygu durumları üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisi olduğu saptanmıştır. 360 derece VR videolar, yüksek yoğunluklu duyguları tetikleme açısından daha etkiliyken, 2D videolar sakin ve rahatlatıcı deneyimler sunmuştur. Bu bulgular, eğitim, reklam, dijital medya ve terapi alanlarında içerik tasarımı açısından önemli uygulamalara zemin hazırlamaktadır.The present thesis constitutes an experimental examination of the effects of two-dimensional (2D) and 360-degree virtual reality (VR) video content on individuals' emotional states. A total of four videos, selected from YouTube and YouTube VR platforms, were utilised in the study. The videos were structured to evoke different emotional responses, such as calmness and excitement, in the viewers. Participants were exposed to the 2D content through an LED screen, while the 360-degree videos were viewed using VR goggles. Emotional reactions were then measured using an EEG device (the NeuroSky Mindwave Mobile 2) and the resulting data was analysed to identify emotional states such as attention, relaxation, stress and excitement. The study was conducted using a quasi-experimental design, with participants evaluated according to gender and video type. The findings demonstrated that 360-degree VR videos elicited heightened high-arousal emotions, such as attention, excitement, and happiness, while concomitantly suppressing negative emotions, including stress, sadness, and anger. Conversely, 2D videos were found to be more associated with introspective reflection and relaxation, and triggered low-intensity emotions. Further gender-based analyses revealed that female participants exhibited an increase in delta and theta waves during the 360-degree videos, suggesting heightened relaxation and imagination. Conversely, male participants exhibited heightened levels of attention and cognitive arousal, as evidenced by an increase in beta and gamma waves. Of particular interest was the finding that 360-degree videos depicting train journeys were found to significantly increase levels of attention and excitement, while concomitantly reducing anger and stress levels. Consequently, it was determined that the video format exerts a substantial influence on emotional states. The study found that 360-degree VR videos were more effective in triggering high-intensity emotions, while 2D videos offered a more calming effect. These findings have significant implications for a wide range of applications, including content design in fields such as education, advertising, digital media and therapy
Examination of the educational process in German kindergartens implementing the Emmi Pikler approach according to the views of educators and administrators
Bu araştırma, Emmi Pikler yaklaşımının temel ilkelerinin Almanya'nın Hamm şehrindeki okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarında nasıl uygulandığını incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Erken çocukluk döneminde çocuğun bireysel gelişim ritmine saygı, serbest hareket, güvenli bağlanma ve etik bakım süreçleri Pikler yaklaşımının temelini oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, özellikle 0-3 yaş grubu çocuklarla çalışan eğitimcilerin, Pikler pedagojisinin öğretmen rolleri üzerindeki etkisi ve eğitim ortamının yapılandırılmasına ilişkin görüşleri nitel araştırma yöntemiyle değerlendirilmiştir. Veri toplama süreci, Almanya'nın kuzeyinde yer alan üç farklı anaokulunda görev yapan eğitimci ve yöneticilerle gerçekleştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler yoluyla yürütülmüştür. Katılımcılar, Pikler yaklaşımını uygulama biçimlerine, karşılaştıkları güçlükler ile pedagojik kazanımlara ilişkin deneyimlerini paylaşmıştır. Araştırma hem pedagojik ortam tasarımı hem de öğretmen-çocuk ilişkileri açısından Pikler pedagojisinin sahadaki yansımalarını ortaya koymaktadır. Elde edilen bulgular, Pikler pedagojisinin çocukların bireysel gelişim süreçlerini desteklediğini, öğretmenin rolünü "gözlemci, eşlik eden ve saygı temelli ilişki kuran" bir figüre dönüştürdüğünü göstermektedir. Bu yönüyle Pikler yaklaşımı, okul öncesi eğitimin niteliğini artırmaya yönelik etik ve bütüncül bir model sunmaktadır. Araştırma sonuçlarının, Türkiye'de erken çocukluk eğitimi alanında alternatif pedagojik modellerin benimsenmesine ve 0-3 yaş arası çocuklara yönelik daha nitelikli bir eğitim politikası geliştirilmesine katkı sağlaması beklenmektedir.This study aims to examine how the fundamental principles of Emmi Pikler's pedagogy are implemented in early childhood education institutions located in the city of Hamm, in northern Germany. Rooted in respect for the child's individual developmental rhythm, free movement, secure attachment, and ethical caregiving, the Pikler approach offers a comprehensive perspective on early education. Focusing on children aged 0–3, this research investigates the perspectives of educators on the role of the teacher and the structuring of learning environments based on Piklerian principles, using a qualitative research methodology. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews with teachers and administrators working in three kindergartens. Participants shared their experiences regarding the implementation of the Pikler approach, challenges encountered and observed pedagogical outcomes. The findings reveal how Pikler pedagogy is reflected in real-life educational settings, particularly in teacher-child interactions and the design of pedagogical spaces. The results indicate that the Pikler approach supports children's autonomous developmental processes and redefines the teacher's role as an "observer, respectful companion, and relationship builder." In this context, Pikler pedagogy offers an ethical and holistic educational model that enhances the quality of early childhood education. The study is expected to contribute to the adoption of alternative pedagogical models in Turkey and to the development of more qualified educational policies for children aged 0–3

Integrating sensor-based posture monitoring into daily life and occupational settings could be explored in future research, while emphasizing that it is not yet a validated diagnostic tool.Abstract Background: This study used inertial measurement unit (IMU)-based posture angle estimates to define proxy risk labels and investigated whether these labels can be predicted from demographic, anthropometric, and lifestyle variables through machine learning analysis. Methods: Thirty healthy individuals aged 18-25 years were included. Demographic and anthropometric data and information on daily living activities were collected. The IMU sensors were placed at vertebral levels C1, C7, T5, T12, and L5. Participants were instructed to stand in an upright posture, followed by a relaxed daily posture. Anatomic postural changes between these positions were analyzed. Cervical lordosis, thoracic kyphosis, lumbar lordosis, and scoliosis risks were predicted using machine learning algorithms, including Random Forest (RF) and Artificial Neural Networks (ANN). Results: Incorrect postures during desk work and phone use were associated with an increased likelihood of posture-related deviations, such as cervical lordosis, thoracic kyphosis, and lumbar lordosis. Conversely, daily physical activity reduced these deviations. Using LOSO and stratified cross-validation with imbalance handling, balanced accuracies ranged between 0.55 and 0.82 across targets, with majority-class baselines between 0.53 and 0.87. For cervical lordosis risk, RF achieved a 0.82 balanced accuracy (95% CI: 0.74-0.97), while other categories showed a moderate but consistent performance. AUPRC values exceeded baseline levels across all models. Conclusions: IMU-based posture angle estimates can be used to identify posture-related risk categories. In this study, ML models have demonstrated predictive relationships with demographic, anthropometric, and lifestyle variables. These findings provide exploratory evidence based on IMU-derived proxy labels in a small cohort of healthy young adults. They represent exploratory indicators of postural deviation rather than clinical outcomes and may motivate future studies on preventive strategies. THE POLITICS OF BEING, THE BEING OF POLITICS: A CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF POLITICAL ONTOLOGY AND NEW ONTOLOGIES OF BECOMING
This study aims to clarify the complex and multi-layered relationship between the concepts of \"political ontology\" and \"new ontology\" within the context of the \"ontological turn\" in twenty-first-century thought. Using an analytical and comparative method, the article first examines the definition, main concerns, and intellectual genealogy of political ontology. It then distinguishes between two different meanings of the term \"new ontology\": the historical school of Nicolai Hartmann and contemporary currents such as speculative realism and new materialism. The main thesis of the study is that the most productive and fruitful intersection with political ontology is established with these contemporary \"new ontologies\" rather than with Hartmann's. In conclusion, it is argued that contemporary problems such as climate change, artificial intelligence, and ecological crises cannot be adequately understood through the anthropocentric concepts of traditional political theory. In this context, it is emphasised that the dialogue between political ontology and new ontologies provides a fundamental basis for the \"re-politicisation of being\" and is a condition for imagining a more just and sustainable political future that includes the non-human world

Aydınlanma, Batı düşünce tarihinde akıl, bilim ve eleştirel sorgulamayı merkeze alan köklü bir zihinsel dönüşüm hareketidir. 18. yüzyılda özellikle Fransa'da en güçlü ifadesini bulan bu hareket, yalnızca teorik bir arayış değil, aynı zamanda toplumsal ve siyasal dönüşümü amaçlayan radikal bir kültürel girişim olmuştur. Fransız Aydınlanması'nın en önemli ürünlerinden biri, Denis Diderot ve D'Alembert'in öncülüğünde yayımlanan Ansiklopedi'dir. Bu eser, bilginin yalnızca derlenmesini değil, aynı zamanda aklın ve deneyin rehberliğinde yeniden tanımlanmasını amaçlamıştır. Ansiklopedistler dogmatik metafiziğe karşı kuşkucu, agnostik ve materyalist eğilimler geliştirmiştir. Bu çerçevede Denis Diderot, Aydınlanma'nın en yaratıcı ve radikal figürlerinden biri olarak öne çıkar. İlk eserlerinde deist bir yaklaşım sergilese de zamanla natüralizme, ardından da materyalizme yönelmiş; doğayı kendi iç yasalarıyla açıklamaya dayalı bir felsefe geliştirmiştir. Ona göre düşünce, bilinç ve özgürlük, doğa yasaları içinde kavranmalıdır. Bu çalışma, üç bölümde Diderot'nun materyalizmini tarihsel kökenleri, Fransız Aydınlanması içindeki yeri ve felsefi bütünlüğü bağlamında ele almayı amaçlamaktadır.The Enlightenment marks one of the most profound intellectual shifts in Western thought, emphasizing reason, science, and critical inquiry. In the eighteenth century, this movement found its strongest expression in France, where it became not only a theoretical pursuit but also a radical cultural project aimed at social and political change. One of the most notable achievements of the French Enlightenment was the Encyclopedia, directed by Denis Diderot and d'Alembert, which sought not only to compile knowledge but to redefine it based on reason and experience. The Encyclopedists developed skeptical, agnostic, and materialist approaches opposed to dogmatic metaphysics. In this context, Denis Diderot emerges as one of the most creative and radical figures. While his early writings reflect a deistic view, he gradually shifted toward naturalism and ultimately embraced materialism, grounding his philosophy in the self-sufficiency of nature. For Diderot, thought, consciousness, and freedom must be understood within the framework of natural laws. Determination of HMF content, antioxidant activity and physicochemical properties of pomegranate juice and molasses
Bu çalışmada ulusal düzeyde satışı olan beş farklı marka nar
ekşisi örnekleri Malatya’da (Türkiye) bulunan yerel
marketlerden temin edilmiştir. Ayrıca manavdan temin edilen
nardan elde edilen taze nar suyu çalışmada kontrol örneği olarak
kullanılmıştır. Örnekler antioksidan kapasite, bazı fizikokimyasal
özelikleri ve hidroksimetil furfural (HMF) içerikleri bakımından
incelenmiştir. Tüm örneklerin güçlü antioksidan aktivite
gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Taze nar suyunun toplam fenolik içeriği
(86.98 mg gallik asit eşdeğeri (GAE)/g kuru ağırlık (KA),
antosiyanin (95.98 mg/L) ve askorbik asit (0.55 mg/mL)
miktarlarının tüm nar ekşisi örneklerine kıyasla daha yüksek
olduğu belirlenmiştir (sırası ile 15.56-22.32 mg GAE/g KA, 3.77-
24.37 mg/L ve 0.03-0.04 mg/mL). Daha konsantre olmaları
nedeni ile nar ekşisi örneklerinde daha yüksek miktarlarda
olmak üzere tüm örneklerde glikoz, fruktoz ve sukroz
belirlenmiştir. Sitrik asidin tüm örneklerde baskın organik asit
olduğu görülmüştür. Hem taze nar suyu hem de nar ekşisi
örneklerinde 13 fenolik bileşik belirlenmiştir. Bunlar arasında
gallik asit, prosiyanidin B1 ve epikateşin miktar olarak öne çıkan
fenolik bileşikler olarak belirlenmiştir. Taze nar suyunda tespit
edilen tüm fenolik bileşiklerin nar ekşisi örneklerine kıyasla daha
yüksek miktarlarda oldukları gözlemlenmiştir. En düşük HMF
miktarı taze nar suyunda (0.15 mg/kg KA) belirlenirken, 5 ticari
nar ekşisi örneklerinin HMF içeriğinin (104.86-426.02 mg/kg KA)
TS 12720 standardına (50 mg/kg KA) uyum göstermediği tespit
edilmiştir.In this study, five different brands of pomegranate molasses
samples with national sales were purchased from local markets
in Malatya, Turkey. Additionally, fresh pomegranate juice
obtained from pomegranates ourchased from the grocery store
was used as a control sample in the study. The samples were
investigated for their antioxidant capacity, some
physicochemical properties, and hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF)
content. It was found that all samples exhibited strong
antioxidant activity. The total phenolic content of fresh
pomegranate juice (86.98 mg gallic acid equivalent (GAE)/g dry
weight (DW), anthocyanin (95.98 mg/L), and ascorbic acid (0.55
mg/mL) levels were higher than those of all pomegranate
molasses samples (ranging from 15.56-22.32 mg GAE/g DW,
3.77-24.37 mg/L, and 0.03-0.04 mg/mL, respectively). In all
samples, glucose, fructose, and sucrose were detected, with
higher amounts in pomegranate molasses samples due to their
higher concentration. Citric acid was identified as the dominant
organic acid in all samples. Thirteen phenolic compounds were
identified in both fresh pomegranate juice and pomegranate
molasses samples, with gallic acid, procyanidin B1 and
epicatechin standing out as the most abundant phenolic
compounds. It was observed that the amounts of all phenolic
compounds detected in fresh pomegranate juice were higher
than those found in pomegranate molasses samples. While the
lowest HMF amount was determined in fresh pomegranate juice
(0.15 mg/kg DW), it was found that the HMF content in five
commercial pomegranate molasses samples (104.86-426.02
mg/kg DW) did not comply with the TS 12720 standard (50
mg/kg DW)
Eskişehir province Odunpazarı district yörükkırka cemevi rituals and music practices
Evrenin oluşumundan bugüne kadar var olan müzik, insanların en güzel duygu ve düşünce aktarıcısı olmakla birlikte etkili ve en yaygın sanat dallarından biridir. Müzik bir sanat dalı olmasıyla birlikte insanlarda duygusal gelişimi de tamamlayan en büyük kültürel ögelerin başında yer alır. Tarihsel süreçte müzik, çeşitli kültürler içerisinde çok farklı ilerleyiş kaydetmiştir. Türk kültürüne ait Türk Müziği de bunların çeşitli ve karmaşık yapıda olanlarındandır. Geleneksel Türk Müziği başlığı altında temel iki kavram olan Türk Sanat Müziği ve Türk Halk Müziği türleri yer alır. Dini müzik çatısı altında bulunan Alevi Bektaşi Kültürüne ait alt türler ise Türk Halk Müziği başlığının altındaki Tasavvufi Halk Müziğine aittir. Alevi-Bektaşi topluluklarının ibadeti olarak bilinen Cem ibadetlerinde uygulanan hizmetler esnasında icra edilen müzik pratikleri bu kültürün olmazsa olmaz yapı taşlarından biridir. Alevi-Bektaşi inancına mensup toplulukların Cem ibadetleri sırasında icra edilen, Nefes, Duvaz-ı İmam, Mersiye, Semah, Mihraçlama, Gülbang, Nevruziye gibi deyişler her ne kadar müzikal yönleriyle ön planda görünüyor olsa da aslında her biri dini birer ritüeldir. Bu tezde tasavvufi bir ifadesi olan, Alevi Cem’lerindeki Cem ritüelleri ve müzik pratikleri ele alınırken, çalışmanın evrenini Eskişehir İli Odunpazarı İlçesi Yörükkırka köyü Alevi-Bektaşi Cem Ritüelleri ve müzik pratikleri oluşturmuş, örneklemini Yörükkırka Cemevi Pir Ahmet Ocağı – İrşat/Sohbet Cemi ile sınırlandırılarak incelemeler ve değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır. Tezde, alan araştırması, gözlem, görüşme yöntemleri kullanılmış, Cem ritüeli sırasında görsel ve işitsel kayıtlar alınmıştır. Doğal ortamda yapılan bu araştırma eğitim niteliğinde yapılan bir Cem ibadeti olmakla birlikte, aynı zamanda yörede bulunan diğer ocaklara bağlı Dedelerin de katılımı ile kapsamlı bir Cem ibadeti olmuştur. Alan yazın gözlemi ve Alanda görüşme ile yapılan araştırmaya ve edinilen bilgiye göre bu çalışma konuyla ilgili yapılan ilk çalışma olmuştur. Sonuç olarak yapılan bu araştırma neticesinde, Anadolu Coğrafyası ve kültürü içerisinde yer alan, Alevi-Bektaşi inancının geçmişten günümüze kadar nasıl geldiği, tarihsel süreç içerisinde Eskişehir İli Odunpazarı İlçesi Yörükkırka köyünde yaşamakta olan ve çeşitli nedenlerden ötürü bu köye göç eden toplulukların Alevi-Bektaşi inancına ve müzik pratiklerine sağladığı katkıları ortaya konmuştur.Music, which has existed from the formation of the universe to the present day, is one of the most effective and widespread forms of art, conveying human emotions and thoughts in the most beautiful way. As a branch of art, music is one of the major cultural elements that not only completes emotional development in humans but also plays a significant role in culture. Historically, music has developed in diverse ways within different cultures. Turkish Music, which belongs to Turkish culture, is among the most varied and complex of these. Under the title of Turkish Music, there are two main branches: Turkish Classical Music and Turkish Folk Music. The sub-genres belonging to the Alevi-Bektashi culture within the religious music category fall under the title of Sufi Folk Music within Turkish Folk Music. Musical practices performed during religious services known as Cem rituals among Alevi-Bektashi communities constitute one of the essential pillars of this culture. The musical elements performed during these rituals, such as Nefes, Duvaz-ı Imam, Mersiye, Semah, Mihraçlama, Gülbang, and Nevruziye, although musically rich, are essentially religious rituals. The aim of this study is to exemplify musical practices in Alevi Cems, focusing on the Yörükırka village Cemevi located in the Odunpazarı district of Eskişehir province. Accordingly, the research question was defined as “What is the role of music in the Cem rituals – İcra/Sohbet Cem and Ayin-i Cem – performed in the Cemevi?” Using field research and a qualitative research model, the study identified rituals accompanied by music based on the statements of ritual participants. As a result, this research has revealed how the Alevi-Bektashi belief system, which has existed within the Anatolian geography and culture, has evolved from past to present, and the contributions made to the Alevi-Bektashi faith and musical practices by the communities living in or having migrated to Yörükırka village of Odunpazarı district, Eskişehir, due to various reasons
Wear and Mechanical Properties of Laser Melting Deposited Stainless-Steel Parts Coated with WC and TiC Using Electrospark Deposition
Laser melt deposition (LMD) is being used effectively by industry to produce parts that are difficult to manufacture using conventional methods, and metal powders are employed in the deposition of a layer of solidified metal during this process. However, improvements are needed for better surface and mechanical properties against wear and extensive loads. In this regard, electrospark deposition may offer a potential solution for better performances by micro-arc transfer of electrode material onto substrate surface. This study focuses on improving the surface and mechanical properties of AISI 316L stainless steel parts manufactured via LMD additive manufacturing using 30 and 60 mu m particles. Various structural and microstructural characterization techniques, i.e., optical microscopy, x-ray powder diffraction, and SEM with energy-dispersive x-ray spectroscopy have been used to characterize TiC- and WC-coated, uncoated, worn surfaces, along with the alloyed interlayer formed during the coating process. Wear and compression tests were employed to determine the effectiveness of the coating in terms of wear resistance and mechanical performance. This study provides a promising approach for enhancing the surface properties of LMD produced stainless steel parts using ESD coating with TiC and WC electrodes. Physicochemical and Sensory Properties of Bovine Milk Treated by Different UV-C Dose: The Effect on Vitamin D3, cholesterol, fatty acid, and formation of volatile compounds
This study investigated the effect of different UV-C doses on physicochemical (pH, color, viscosity) and sensory properties, FFA, vitamin D-3 , cholesterol, fatty acid composition, and oxidative volatile compounds formation. The physicochemical properties (pH, viscosity, and color) of milk were significantly affected by the application of UV-C and different UV-C doses (p < 0.05). The FFA of raw and pasteurized milk was determined as 0.053% and 0.10%, respectively. The FFA values significantly increased with the application of UV-C. The amount of cholesterol in UV-C-applied milk was in the range of 38.7449.70 ppm. The cholesterol level was significantly reduced by the application effect of UV-C treatment at all dosages (p < 0.05). The amount of vitamin D(3 )of raw and pasteurized milk was found as 90.91 mg kg(-1) and 65.87 mg kg(-1), respectively. The UV-C application at all dosages, with the exception of 98.4 J mL(-1), significantly increased the amount of D-3 (p < 0.05). UV-C application caused a significant change in the composition of fatty acid composition and this change varied according to applied UV-C dosage. In this study 250-300 g 38 adult male Wistar Albino rats were used, randomly divided into six groups as four groups that received boron (n=7/group) and two control groups (n=5/group). Etibor-48 (Borax pentahydrate) was diluted in saline and administered by gavage. The Boron 1 group received 10 mg/kg boron for three days and the Boron 2 group received 10 mg/kg for seven days, Boron 3 group received 30 mg/kg for three days, and the Boron 4 group, received 30 mg/kg for seven days before the start of the study. On day 0, colon incisional wound was performed for all rats under general anesthesia and sutured. Control groups took no drugs and were euthanized on the third and seventh postoperative days. Blood sampling were done via cardiac punction at necropsy to measure Interleukin-1, IL-6, TNF-α, MPO, MDA, NO, GSH, and AOA. The sutured bowel incision line was evaluated histopathologically. Inflammatory cell measurement results in Boron 1, 2, 3, and 4 groups, and Control 3- and 7-day groups were 2.93±0.41, 3.93±0.41, 3.61±0.55, 3.93±0.41, 1.26±0.41, and 1.43±0.51, respectively. There were statistical difference between the groups (P˂0.05). AOA measurement results in the Boron 1, 2, 3, and 4 groups, and Control 3- and 7-day groups were 7.38±0.64, 8.27±0.57, 9.07±1.16, 9.06±0.86, 10.00±1.47, and 9.86±0.54 mmol/L, respectively. There were statistical difference between the Boron 1 and the Control 3- and 7-day groups (P˂0.05). It is concluded that Borax pentahydrate solution 30 mg/kg had a positive effect on intestinal incisional wound healing, contrary to the literature.Bu çalışmada 250-300 g, 38 erişkin erkek Wistar Albino rat kullanıldı, rastgele olarak Bor verilen dört grup (n=7/grup) ve iki kontrol grubu (n=5/grup) olmak üzere altı gruba ayrıldı. Etibor-48 (Boraks pentahidrat) serum fizyolojik içinde seyreltildi ve gavaj yoluyla uygulandı. Bor 1 grubuna üç gün 10 mg/kg bor, Bor 2 grubuna yedi gün 10 mg/kg bor, Bor 3 grubuna üç gün 30 mg/kg bor ve Bor 4 gruba, çalışmanın başlamasından yedi gün önce 30 mg/kg bor verildi. 0. günde tüm ratlara genel anestezi altında kolon anastomozu yapıldı. Ameliyat sonrası kontrol gruplarına hiçbir ilaç uygulanmadı ve postoperatif üçüncü ve yedinci gün ötenazi yapıldı. MPO, IL-1, IL-6, TNF-α, MDA, NO, GSH ve AOA'yı ölçmek için nekropsi sırasında tüm sıçanlardan kardiyak punksiyonla kan örneği alındı. Anastomoz bölgesi histopatolojik olarak değerlendirildi. Bor 1, 2, 3 ve 4 grupları ile Kontrol 3 ve 7 günlük gruplarda inflamatuar hücre ölçüm sonuçları sırasıyla 2,93±0,41, 3,93±0,41, 3,61±0,55, 3,93±0,41, 1,26±0,41 ve 1,43±. 0.51 olarak bulundu. Gruplar arasında istatistiksel farklar vardı (P˂0.05). Bor 1, 2, 3 ve 4 grupları ile Kontrol 3 ve 7 günlük gruplarda AOA ölçüm sonuçları sırasıyla 7,38±0,64, 8,27±0,57, 9,07±1,16, 9,06±0,86, 10,00±1,47 ve 9,86±0,54 mmol/l idi. Bor 1 ve Kontrol 3- ve 7 günlük gruplar arasında istatistiksel fark vardı (P˂0.05). 30 mg/kg Boraks pentahidrat solüsyonunun bağırsak yara iyileşmesi üzerine literatürün aksine olumlu etkisi olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır
