Imitation poems written to Imaduddin Nesimi in the divan of Niyazi-i Mısri and couples on hurufism
Bu çalışmada Niyâzî-i Mısrî Divanı ile İmâdüddîn Nesîmî’nin Türkçe Divan’ı mukayeseli olarak incelenmiş, Niyâzî-i Mısrî’nin Nesîmî’ye on beş adet nazire yazdığı tespit edilmiştir. İlgili şiirlerin nazire olduğu delillendirilmeye çalışılmış ve bunlar üzerine genel bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Niyâzî-i Mısrî’deki Nesîmî etkisini somutlaştırmak amacıyla Nesîmî’ye yazılan nazireler Fuzûlî’ye yazılan nazirelerle karşılaştırılmıştır. Çalışmada Fuzûlî’ye yazılan on adet nazire tespit edilmiştir. Niyazi-i Misri, one of the 17th century Sufis, is an important poet and owner of a divan. Imitation poems attract attention in this divan, which has been published many times until today. Researchers say that Niyazi was most influenced by Yunus Emre and Fuzuli; Apart from this, they state that he also wrote verses to poets such as Imaduddin Nesimi. The fact that Niyazi wrote some couplets about Hurufism and that these couplets were not limited to a few, suggests that the influence of Nesimi may have been greater on the poet. In this study, Niyazi-i Misri's Divan and Imaduddin Nesimi's Turkish Divan were examined comparatively, and it was determined that Niyazi wrote fifteen imitation poems to Nesimi. An attempt was made to prove that the relevant poems were imitation and a general evaluation was made on them. In order to concretize the influence of Nesimi in Niyazi, the imitation poems written to Nesimi were compared with the imitation poems written to Fuzuli. As evidence of this effect, some of Niyazi's couplets on Hurufism were included in the study and examined. Thus, the nature of Nesimi's influence in Niyazi was tried to be revealed, and it was suggested to include Imaduddin Nesimi among the people who were most influencing Niyazi
Adaptive energy management with machine learning in hybrid PV-wind systems for electric vehicle charging stations
This study focuses on modelling and controlling hybrid Photovoltaic (PV) and wind energy systems for Electric Vehicle (EV) battery charging stations. A load shedding mechanism based on Deep Neural Networks (DNN) has been developed. The integration of this mechanism with the grid through a voltage source converter (VSC) has been examined. The study emphasizes the integration of a DNN-based controller and maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm. The proposed system aims to reduce energy costs and optimize the load on the grid by increasing the use of renewable energy sources. This innovative approach has been developed to address load balancing and stability issues in existing energy management systems. The primary goal of the research is to ensure more efficient use of renewable energy sources and to optimize energy demand management. Simulations conducted under various operating conditions have evaluated the ability of the proposed DNN controller to manage loads dynamically according to three priority levels. According to the results, the proposed system improved load shedding by 25% and increased overall system stability by 15%. The performance rate of the DNN controller was measured at 98%. This indicates that the system operates with high accuracy. In conclusion, the proposed system validates its effectiveness in managing load shedding, maintaining system stability in energy management and optimizing renewable energy sources
Climate Policy Uncertainty and CO2 Emissions Dynamics in the USA
Uncertainty in climate policies is a new topic of study that could impact environmental issues such as CO2 emissions. Using a recently developed monthly dataset on the Climate Policy Uncertainty index (CPU), spanning from April 1987 to September 2022, we investigate whether CPU can be used as a tool to predict total and sectoral energy consumption CO2 emissions changes relying on a time-varying and frequency-domain Granger causality techniques for short-, middle-, and long-runs. The current study also investigates symmetric and asymmetric causality between CPU and CO2 emissions. Our results based on the time-varying Granger causality test show that uncertainty about climate policies causes CO2 emissions. Similarly, the frequency-domain Granger causality test results reveal that CPU is also a significant cause of CO2 emissions in the long and medium terms. We also search for the asymmetry between CPU and CO2 emissions since positive and negative CPU shocks may have contrasting impacts on CO2 emissions. To see whether this effect changes over time, we conduct the asymmetric Granger-causality test in the frequency domain and verify asymmetrical associations for some cases. Our findings give policymakers and academics fresh views by highlighting the significance of time-varying and frequency-domain aspects in the dynamics of the CPU-CO2 emissions nexus
Shamanistic elements as a compositional Component in Contemporary Turkish Painting Art
This article examines the reflections of the Shamanic belief system in contemporary Turkish painting. Shamanism, which has maintained its influence in various cultures from prehistoric times to the present, has left profound traces in the cultural and artistic production of Turkish society. Although Turks have adopted different religions throughout history, Shamanic elements have continued to exist in their intellectual structures, traditions, and aesthetic sensibilities. Within the scope of this study, elements unique to Shamanism—such as spirit animals, color symbolism, the tree of life, drums, and tamgas—are explored in a descriptive manner regarding their place in artistic expression.
The works of contemporary Turkish artists such as Kadir Şişginoğlu, Ö. Gökhan Temizel, and Necati Seydi Ferahoğlu are analyzed in terms of their use of Shamanic elements. These elements are observed to be employed by artists at times as a means of aesthetic expression and at other times as a reflection of a connection with cultural memory. The continuity of Shamanic themes in artistic production reveals that these elements are not merely traditional motifs of the past, but also symbols that carry meaning within the context of contemporary art

In the last chapter of the thesis, some results concerned with Ricci solitons (g,?,?) on ?-cosymplectic manifolds have been obtained by using different semi-symmetric structures
The effects of cognitive perception and destination trust on intention to visit: The moderating role of social media influencers
The purpose of this study is to reveal a deeper understanding of the relationship between cognitive perception (CP), destination trust (DT), and intention to visit (IV) in terms of demonstrating the effects of tourists' CP on DT and the moderating role of social media influencers (SMIs) in this interaction. The data of the study were collected from 335 participants via an online questionnaire. The research model was tested with AMOS (a structural equation modelling program). As a result, it is revealed that tourists' CP is an essential predictor for DT, and the DT of tourists triggers the IV with perception about SMIs. However, SMIs do not moderate the interaction between CP and DT, while SMIs positively affect the DT. This study extends the literature on SMI in tourism by demonstrating the pivotal role of social media influencers in shaping travel motivation, destination trust, and, ultimately, travel decisions, and by providing new theoretical insights and practical guidance for destination management organizations and tourism enterprises, with the aim of enhancing collaborative SMI strategies
Mission and Vision Analysis of Institutional Self Evaluation Reports of Universities
Universities prepare their strategic plans every five years, and their institutional self evaluation reports evaluate the previous year every year. It is expected that the mission and vision statements determined by the strategic plan will also be reflected in the institutional self evaluation reports, prepared to monitor the quality assurance processes related to the main activity areas of the universities. The study sample consists of state universities established before 1992, state universities established in 1992, and foundation universities established before 2002. In the study, the seven most frequently repeated words in the mission and vision statements determined in the universities' strategic plans in force in 2022 were determined separately, and the extent to which these words were reflected in the 2021 institutional self evaluation reports of the universities was examined. MAXQDA Analytics Pro program was used in this review. In addition, the content analysis technique, one of the data analysis methods in qualitative research, was used. As a result of the findings obtained by analyzing the documents, a comparison study was conducted to determine similarities and differences between and within the groups. When comparing the groups, it was seen that the most successful group in reflecting the mission and vision statement was the state universities established before 1992. However, it was determined that the universities did not adequately reflect their mission and vision statements in their institutional self evaluation reports. As a result of the study, the reasons for the disconnection between the mission and vision statements of the universities and the institutional self evaluation reports were examined, and suggestions were made to strengthen the relationship between them

COMPARATIVE EVALUATION OF MAXIMUM POWER POINT ALGORITHMS IN PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY UTILIZATION
The irregular generation patterns of renewable energy systems lead to undesirable fluctuations in power grids. Integrating energy storage facilities into renewable energy systems is proposed as a solution to this issue. In this study, a photovoltaic energy system with energy storage is designed, and the effects of deterministic and stochastic optimisation-based algorithms on maximum power point tracking are analysed to ensure high-efficiency operation. In the designed system, maximum power point tracking of the photovoltaic system is achieved using the conventional Perturb and Observe, Incremental Conductance, Fuzzy Logic-Based Perturb and Observe, and Particle Swarm Optimization. The algorithms are extensively compared based on performance metrics such as rise time, settling time, and overshoot rate. The Fuzzy Logic-Based Perturb and Observe algorithm exhibits the best performance, with a rise time of 14.28 milliseconds and a settling time of 51.6 milliseconds, achieving the highest efficiency with a battery state of charge level of 69.97%. Detailed simulation analyses conducted in the Matlab/Simulink environment reveal that the fuzzy logic-based method provides faster and more stable results than other methods. Furthermore, a 24-hour real solar irradiance dataset is utilised to test the model under realistic environmental conditions, allowing for a more reliable evaluation of the performance of our storage-integrated photovoltaic
