Model Story Brand w procesie przygotowania homilii
No full textThe following text regards the possibility and manners of the Story Brand model, which has been created by Donald Miller, an American writer, speaker and businessman, as assistance in forming a clear marketing message for company representatives who are trying to convince customers to their products or concepts, in the process of the preparation of homilies and sermons. The author, maintaining the context of theological sciences, discusses the individual stages leading to the creation of an appealing and efficient speech, which will affect how the listeners think and act. Simultaneously, he brings out those elements which may assist in improving the quality of the homily. The reader stops at the seven “stops” of the SB7 model, which are supposed to lead them to the preparation of an efficient, and, above all, interesting and gripping message. Without prejudice to the teaching of the Church regarding the contents which should be included in the homily, the author suggests how to use the achievements of communication sciences for homiletic purposes, the result of which will be giving a proper structure to the message, which in this case is the homily preaching.Tekst traktuje o możliwości i sposobach wykorzystania modelu Story Brand, stworzonego przez Donalda Millera, amerykańskiego pisarza, mówcę i biznesmana, jako pomocy w formułowaniu jasnego przekazu marketingowego dla przedstawicieli firm, przekonujących klientów do swoich produktów lub idei w procesie przygotowania homilii i kazań. Autor, zachowując kontekst nauk teologicznych, omawia poszczególne etapy, prowadzące do stworzenia atrakcyjnej i skutecznej mowy, która będzie oddziaływała na myślenie i działanie słuchaczy. Wydobywa przy tym te elementy, które mogą przyczynić się do poprawienia jakości homilii. Czytelnik zatrzymuje się przy siedmiu „przystankach” modelu SB7, które mają go doprowadzić do przygotowania skutecznego, a przede wszystkim ciekawego i trzymającego w napięciu komunikatu. Nie naruszając nauczania Kościoła na temat treści, która powinna znaleźć się w homilii, autor wskazuje jak wykorzystać osiągnięcia nauk o komunikacji dla celów homiletycznych, czego efektem będzie nadanie właściwej struktury komunikatowi, którym w tym przypadku jest jednostka przepowiadania

No full textPlacing the concept of human dignity in the preamble to the Constitution of the Republic of Poland reaffirms it as the foundation of the entire legal system in the state, where it has the status of a value determining application of all norms. Defining sense of human dignity and uncovering its sources is the goal not of the legal doctrine, however, but of philosophy. This paper is an attempt at answering the question, what reality is the person’s dignity from the viewpoint of personalism and what constitutes it. Answering this question is crucial to the process of law institution and application.Umieszczenie pojęcia godności człowieka w preambule Konstytucji Rzeczpospolitej Polskiej potwierdza, że stanowi ona podstawę całego porządku prawnego w państwie. W systemie prawnym państwa posiada ona status wartości określającej stosowanie wszystkich norm. Określenie sensu pojęcia ludzkiej godności i odsłanianie jej źródeł należy jednak nie do doktryny prawnej, lecz do filozofii. Faith – Reason: a Problematic Relationship? Theology as an Extension of Faith in Reason
No full textIn this article the author reviews the interrelationship between faith and reason in the steps of John Paul II’s Encyclical Letter Fides et ratio. He explores briefly historical circumstances following Etienne Gilson. Then, he introduces philosophical and theological considerations of Cornelio Fabro to do theology in the footsteps of Aquinas. From the perspective of Thomism of the Italian philosopher and by recalling the most urgent theological tasks for the third millennium as indicated in Fides et ratio, the author presents general guidelines for the circularity of faith and reason within the context of fundamental theology. Throughout this article he reads Fides et ratio specifically through the Fabrian lens to present a fresh perspective as a contribution to fundamental theology. Finally, he recalls the conclusive recommendation of John Paul II in the aforementioned letter so as to harmonize reason and faith within a Marian framework.Autor dokonuje przeglądu wzajemnych relacji między wiarą a rozumem w świetle encykliki Jana Pawła II Fides et ratio. Za Etienne Gilsonem omawia pokrótce uwarunkowania historyczne. Następnie przedstawia niektóre filozoficzne i teologiczne rozważania Cornelio Fabra na temat uprawiania teologii śladami Akwinaty. Z perspektywy tomizmu włoskiego filozofa, przywołując najpilniejsze zadania teologiczne na trzecie tysiąclecie wskazane w Fides et ratio, autor przedstawia ogólne wytyczne dotyczące cyrkularności wiary i rozumu w kontekście teologii fundamentalnej. W całym artykule odczytuje Fides et ratio szczególnie przez pryzmat nauczania Cornelio Fabra, aby dać świeży wkład do teologii fundamentalnej. No full textThe article is an attempt to present two texts by Fr. Jan Berthier MS – Founder of the Missionaries of the Holy Family: a treaty on the last things and a practical method of accompanying the dying. The aim of this article is not to critically analyze Berthier’s eschatology, but to demonstrate on its example the necessity of combining academic lecture of eschatology (theory) with pastoral care (practice). The presentation leads to three conclusions: 1) the continuing need for presence of eschatology in the teaching and practice of the Church; 2) the need to update the understanding of its content and method of its communication; 3) the importance of coherence of eschatological theory and practice.Artykuł jest próbą prezentacji dwóch tekstów ks. Jana Berthiera MS – założyciela Misjonarzy Świętej Rodziny: traktatu o rzeczach ostatecznych i praktycznej metody towarzyszenia umierającym. Celem artykułu nie jest krytyczna analiza eschatologii Berthiera, lecz wykazanie na jej przykładzie konieczności łączenia akademickiego wykładu eschatologii (teoria) z duszpasterstwem (praktyka). Dokonana prezentacja prowadzi do trzech wniosków: 1) nieustająca konieczność obecności eschatologii w nauczaniu i praktyce Kościoła; 2) potrzeba aktualizowania rozumienia jej treści i sposobu przekazu; 3) waga spójności teorii i praktyki eschatologicznej

The expansion of the image code as a determinant of the material of messages in a mediated reality entails significant changes on many levels of digital society life. The speed of the image and strong persuasion of image messages, which results from the impression of the unquestionable authenticity, the bond with the truth interpreted by man as a reflection of facts or actual reality, becomes a tool in the sphere of business, media, politics and private life. They become a tool that persuades people to ”buy”, ”watch”, ”receive”, ”choose”, ”attract”. The aim of this article is to try to show some ethical aspects of the intimacy presented in the film reportage. The analyzes are an attempt to answer the question whether ethics constitutes limits or horizons of vision in presenting intimacy in a film reportage.Etyka intymności w reportażu filmowym – granice lub horyzonty widzenia. Ekspansja kodu obrazowego jako determinującego tworzywa komunikatów w zmediatyzowanej rzeczywistości pociąga za sobą istotne zmiany na wielu płaszczyznach życia społeczeństwa cyfrowego. Szybkość działania obrazu i silna perswazja komunikatów obrazowych, która wynika z wrażenia niepodważalności autentyczności, więzi z prawdą interpretowanej przez człowieka jako odbicie faktów czy rzeczywistości faktycznej, staje się narzędziem w sferze biznesu, mediów, polityki czy życia prywatnego. Stają się one narzędziem, które przekonuje do „kupowania”, „oglądania”, „odbierania”, do „wybrania”, do „atrakcyjności”. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest próba pokazania niektórych etycznych aspektów intymności przedstawianej w reportażu filmowym. Analizy są próbą odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy etyka stanowi granice, czy też horyzonty widzenia w przestawianiu intymności w reportażu filmowym
