Comments from MG McGarr to General Taylor on his personal experiences and opinions during his career. Part One covers lessons from the Korean Combat. They are combat lessons from various operations in which McGarr participated as ADC, 2d US Infantry Division, from 5 July 1952 to 24 January 1953. Part Two are comments on specific requested subjects. The comments, conclusions and recommendations contained in part two are drawn from his observations during seven months of combat as ADC with the 2d Division and seven months as Commanding General of the 7th Infantry Division, during the truce phase of operations

This handbook describes the Military Engagement Team (MET) and its use in strengthening and building partnerships. A Beach Intelligence Sub-Section, set up for the purpose, produced chart-maps, beach profiles and tidal predictions in preparation for Operation "OVERLORD", and the report includes both descriptions of their preparation and an appraisal of their accuracy
