The purpose of The Transportation School Monograph Series is to present studies of new Army transportation problems prepared by the experts in the various fields at the home station of The Transportation School for guidance of other Transportation Corps personnel, and to serve as a basis for future doctrine. This study is a detailed analysis of the control of the marshaling and embarkation of troops for the invasion of France in June of 1944.
