Timothy McElhannon Interview
CDR McElhannon entered the U.S. Navy in May 1980 upon graduation from the University of Georgia, received his commission in August 1980 and earned his Naval Aviator wings in July 1981. His operational tours include Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light Thirty-Four in Norfolk, VA and Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light Forty-Three in San Diego, CA. Highlights of these tours included deployment with the USS Eisenhower Battlegroup to the Mediterranean in 1983 in support of U.S. Marines in Beirut and deployment to the Western Pacific in 1988 with the USS Midway Battlegroup. CDR McElhannon deployed to the Persian Gulf twice during the Iran/Iraq War, in 1983 and again in 1989, where he participated in the escort of re-flagged tankers during the final stage of the war. He subsequently was selected for naval attache duty. This interview covers his career through 2002

Evan Hanks Interview
Staff Sergeant Evan T. Hanks serves with the 192nd Maintenance Squadron, Virginia Air National Guard as an aircraft structural mechanic and corrosion control journeyman. These two interviews cover his experiences working on F-15s and F-16s. Hanks is also a member of the VMI Class of 2007
Timothy Heely Interview
Rear Admiral Heely commissioned in the U. S. Navy in 1975, trained as a pilot. He served with distinction for 30 years, rising to the rank of Read Admiral
Robert Hudson Interview
Col. Robert M. Hudson served as a pilot with the United States Air Force and was a POW for 93 days in Vietnam. During his career he flew the T-39, B-52F, B-52D, B-52H, FB-111, F-100 and F-16. He served as Chief, battlestaff - Looking Glass; Base Commander - Brooks Air Force Base, Texas; Base Commander at a classified location; Inspector General - Ramstein AB Germany, and Director of SAC's Strategic Communication Division. This interview primarily covers his service in the Vietnam War
R. Kurt Zeppenfeld Interview
Cdr. Zeppenfeld served with the USMC from 1977 - 1981 and with the U.S. Naval Reserve. As of interview date he held the rank of Commander. This interview covers his experiences in Pusan, Korea
