William D. Badgett Interview
William D. Badgett graduated from VMI in 1953 and served in the USAF as a 1st Lieutenant from November 1953 to July 1955; he was stationed in Korea from July 1954 – 1955. He served with the 608th AC&W Squadron, first with Detachment #1 (Target Director Post), then with Detachment #2 on the island of Pyongyang-do (Radar surveillance). Badgett joined the Virginia Military Institute faculty in the fall of 1955 and spent his entire teaching career at VMI. This interview covers his experiences in Korea
Charles F. Brower IV Interview
BG Charles F. Brower, IV served in the U.S. Army from 1969 - 2001, serving in USAREUR, RVN, Continental U.S. in the 4th Armored Division, 101st Airborne Division, 24th Infantry Division (Mech), 23rd Infanty Division, and was cavalry troop commander, RVN, from 1971-1972. BG Brower was an Academy professor, departments of History and Behavior Sciences and Leadership, at the United States Military Academy. He served as Deputy Superintendent and Dean of the Faculty at Virginia Military Institute from 2001-2008. This interview covers his service as Army Aide to President Ronald Reagan from 1982 - 1984
William Grace Interview
Col. Grace was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in 1981. Upon completion of the Basic School he reported to Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Florida, for flight training and was designated a Naval Aviator in 1983; he received his initial AH-1J training with Marine Helicopter Training Squadron 303 at Camp Pendleton, California. During his distingished career he has served with numerous Marine Corps Helicopter Squadrons, including Marine Helicopter Squadron One, which supports White House missions worldwide. Grace led Presidential detachments on four continents while serving under Presidents Bush and Clinton
