Thomas Magno Interview
CDR Magno spent 22 years as a naval flight officer, piloting E-2 Hawkeyes and F-14A/F-14B Tomcats. He accrued 2500 flight hours/650+ arrested landings, and saw combat tours in Libya (1986), Bosnia (1993) and Iraq (Operation Desert Shield, 1990). Magno retired in 2003. This interview covers his entire career

Glenn A. Thieme was born in Wisconsin in 1931 and served in the Navy from July 1949 to June 1975, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander. This interview covers his entire career, including his deployment to Vietnam in 1971
Robert E. Carter Memoir
Robert E. Carter was born on a farm near Truro, Iowa on the 6th of May, 1932. In 1951 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served as a Yeoman (administrative and clerical work) for 20 years. Carter's career in the U.S. Navy included assignments in: San Diego, California; Japan; Korea; the Midway Islands; Hawaii; Las Vegas, Nevada; Saigon, Vietnam; and Washington, D.C. Following his retirement from the U.S. Navy in 1971, Carter relocated to Southern California where he held various positions in the city clerk's office and treasurer's office for the City of Imperial Beach and City of Santee. He retired from municipal work in 1987 and moved back to his home state, Iowa

Charles Litz Interview
Captain Charles H. Litz received his BS from the U.S. Naval Academy and his MS from the National War College. Serving as a naval aviator from June 1976-July 2002, he was a carrier helicopter pilot flying the SH-3H. Litz participated in Desert Storm as part of Airwing on the USS Theodore Roosevelt
