Russell Rivers Interview
Lt. Col. Rivers graduated from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) in 1982, commissioned in the U. S. Air Force, and received his Naval Aviator wings in 1984. Lt. Col. Rivers has flown several type/model/series aircraft ranging from turboprop trainers to rotary wing and jet aircraft accumulating over 3600 hours of flight time as of this interview date

William F. Andrews Interview
COL William F. Andrews graduated from the U. S. Air Force Academy in 1980 and began pilot training the same year. He has flown the T-37, EF-111, and the F-16. He was deployed in Operation Desert Storm and was a POW for 8 days. He subsequently served as an F-16 squadron and group commander, as a staff officer for the Joint Staff in Washington, and taught at the National Defense University
William Collier Interview
William H. Collier served in World War II in the 106th Cavalry Regiment (Mechanized). He participated in several campaigns in Europe, including Normandy, northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes-Alsace, and Central Europe. He also served in the Army of Occupation in Austria. His later career included postings in Korea, Germany, Hawaii, Vietnam, and the Pentagon. He retired in 1971, having obtained the rank of Lt. Colonel. This interview primarily covers his service in World War II

Charles McKinney Interview
Charles McKinney was born in Selma, Alabama in 1920 and joined the Army during the early days of World War II. After completing OCS in 1942, he joined the 509th Parachute Battalion in North Africa. He subsequently saw combat in Italy, France and Belgium, serving 2 1/2 years overseas. McKinney also fought with the 505th Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division during the Korean War. He retired from active duty in 1962
Alexander Michnewich Interview
Alexander Michnewich was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1923. He served in the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, 1905th Aviation Battalion, from 1943-1946 and was stationed in the China-Burma-India theater
